Es zeigen Fig. la, 1b und 1c Beispiele von Messwertauf- zeichnungen ; Fig. 2 die Schaltanordnung zur Aufzeichnung und taktmässigen Überwachung von x Messtellen- gruppen ;
unter An lehnung an die Fig. la in bekannter Art aufgezeich neten Messwerte, beispielsweise in Fig. 1b, darge stellt ist. Zieht man einen Vergleich zwischen der be kannten Aufzeichnung in Fig. la und der Aufzeich nung in Fig. 1b, so ist zwar festzustellen, dass bei gleicher Vorschubgeschwindigkeit des Schreibstreifens die Aufzeichnung nach Fig. 1b die doppelte Streifen länge beansprucht als die Aufzeichnung nach Fig. la ;
Circuit arrangement of a system for recording electrically transmitted measured variables The invention relates to a circuit arrangement of a system for recording electrically transmitted measured variables from a plurality of measuring points or groups of measuring points.
The purpose of the invention is to automatically control the measurement processes and, in particular, to make the large number of individual recordings clear and to enable reliable counting of the measurement points and the immediate detection of critical measurement parameters.
There are already devices for electrical transmission and recording of measured variables be known.
One known device works electro-mechanically, similar to the system of a typewriter with a horizontally and vertically acting measuring car, one of which scans the individual measuring points via sliding contacts and the other takes over the recording of the measured values, so that on a paper strip one recording consisting of rectangular segments is created.
The disadvantage of this known device is, on the one hand, that due to the mechanical structure of the number of measuring points to be checked, limits are set and, on the other hand, the clarity and reliable counting of the records obtained is no longer guaranteed when several adjacent records have the same measurand.
Another known device consists of a motor-driven endless chain with a switching element, which successively actuates a number of measuring point switches corresponding to the number of measuring points to be controlled, which are connected to a moving-coil measuring mechanism that displays the measured variables in the form of horizontal lines records motorized paper strips.
Although a certain clarity of the recorded records can be achieved with this known device, there are practical limits to the controllable number of measuring points - due to the mechanical structure - if compliance with certain structural dimensions cannot be waived.
Furthermore, a device with a writing measuring device is known in which, in addition to the recorded measured variable, a secondary recording correspondingly characterizing the respective measuring point is effected for each individual measurement. This is achieved by emitting a short, modulated switching pulse to the measuring mechanism before the start of each individual measurement, so that the writing device of the measuring mechanism is deflected over a corresponding distance on the paper strip.
Since the secondary recordings that characterize the individual measuring points must be different in terms of their length for the purpose of differentiation, a separate resistor, which has to be specially calibrated for this, is therefore required for each of the measuring points to be marked. A separate additional relay is also required for each measuring point. With regard to the number of measuring points that can be marked in this way, such a known device is also dependent on the respective usable width of the paper strip.
The number of measuring points that can be marked is therefore practically limited and thus such a device is only suitable for systems with a relatively small number of measuring points if the clarity and effortless evaluation of the recordings should not be questioned.
It was recognized that it is not sufficient in a system with a large number of measuring points to connect only the individual measuring points, only the individual measuring points or groups of measuring points, one after the other to writing measuring devices, but rather that it is more important with regard to a subsequent the necessary evaluation of the individual measurement results is required for the recordings carried out,
to design the circuit arrangement in such a way that the evaluation of the recorded measured variables is facilitated and, on the other hand, the expenditure on equipment is proportionate to the success achieved.
The circuit arrangement according to the invention, in which means are present to automatically connect the measuring points or groups of measuring points in a fixed sequence to a writing or to a group of such measuring devices, with the determined measured variables being represented on a strip of paper by lines and with a There is a pause between two connections for easier evaluation, is characterized by
that a switch-on relay is arranged to initiate an overall measuring process and that multi-pole measuring point relays are connected to one of the first busbars via contacts of auxiliary relays and contacts of series relays, that second busbars are available, which are connected to a live line via contacts, of which one can be switched to two third busbars by means of a self-acting changeover switch,
whereby the measuring point relays are connected to one of the first busbars via contacts of the auxiliary relays connected to the third busbars and to another live line via contacts of the series relays.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the circuit arrangement according to the invention for recording electrically transmitted measurement variables and examples of recording strips.
FIG. 1 a, 1 b and 1 c show examples of measured value recordings; 2 shows the switching arrangement for recording and clockwise monitoring of x groups of measuring points;
3 shows a detail of the temperature measuring arrangement according to FIG. 2 with x measuring points each with a group of three resistance thermometers and a group of measuring devices common to all groups of measuring points; Fig. 4a and 4b further examples of measurement recordings.
If a measurement pause begins for each of the individual measurements to be made and a resistor is switched in the measuring circuit of the measuring device for the duration of each measurement pause, the value of which deviates from those of the measuring points in such a way that a deflection of the measuring device pointer and thus the writing device is also obtained from the range of scales or at least from the range of a minimum or maximum measured value to be expected in the overall system, a recording is made on the writing strip as
Based on FIG. 1 a, measured values recorded in a known manner, for example in FIG. 1 b, are shown. If a comparison is made between the known recording in Fig. La and the recording in Fig. 1b, it can be seen that with the same feed speed of the writing strip, the recording of Fig. 1b takes up twice the strip length than the recording of Fig. la;
however, there can be no doubt that a recording according to FIG. 1b can be evaluated more easily than one according to FIG. 1a. The number of pause deflection resistances required corresponds to the measuring devices in the measuring system.
In systems with a large number of measuring points, for example in a large silo with more than a hundred measuring points, the evaluation of a recording according to FIG. 1b can also cause trouble, especially if the purpose of finding a critical temp the individual measurement results must be counted.
For this purpose it is provided that the total number of measured values recorded during the measuring process is automatically subdivided into measuring sections, for example decades, in such a way that after a specified series of individual measurements, for example ten, a longer measurement pause is inserted after which the Pointer of the measuring device by connecting a resistor, the value of which deviates from those of the measuring points in such a way that the pointer of the measuring device is led out of the operative area in the opposite direction to the direction taken during the measurement break.
If the procedure is followed, the result is a recording on the writing strip as it is shown, for example, in FIG. 1 e. The subdivision of the measurement recordings can be recognized by two lines extending over the useful width of the writing strip. The advantage of such a measure is obvious, because all that is needed is writing strips with graduation in physical sizes, while the costly individual measurement point graduation can be dispensed with.
On the one hand, in order not to extend the entire measuring process to an excessive period of time, but in order to still obtain easily evaluable recordings of the individual measurements, it is expedient to select a higher feed rate for the writing strip than if it is in permanent connection with a measuring point normal, writing measuring devices is used.
In the circuit arrangement of a system shown schematically in FIG. 2 with x groups of measuring points (there can also be x individual measuring points), each of the groups of measuring points subject to monitoring is cycled into the measuring circuit of the group of writing measuring devices I, 1I, III (Fig. 3) switched. The type of current and voltage required for operation can be any and will depend on the characteristics of the devices used.
For the sake of clarity, only the switching elements that are important for tracking the switching operations are shown in the drawing, while parts that are not directly related to the invention are not shown. The operating voltage is connected at a, b (Fig. 2) or P, N (Fig. 3).
In Fig. 2, the control relays denoted by the sign H and an index act according to a decade system in such a way that regardless of the total number of metering relays M1 to M ″ to be controlled, the control relays Hl to Ho represent a so-called series of ones, which each precedes available,
a series of decades of the measuring point relays Ml to M "are always co-determinative and that after each successful connection of all control relays H to Ho by means of a transfer relay or
a changeover relay Hll one of the decade relays HI., H20, 1-120, Hao to H ,, is switched on, which then allows the next control series to act.
The number of measuring point relays M1 to M., however, cannot be reduced in the manner of a decade system; moreover, the number of these relays must correspond to the same number that is present in the system to be monitored as measuring points or groups of measuring points.
The control relays Hl to Ho or the measuring relays Ml to M. are connected to busbars 4, 5 and 8, 9, to which switching pulses by means of a known, in a simple manner acting changeover switch W according to a fixed clock system be submitted of the appropriate duration.
The circuit arrangement shown in Fig. 2 may serve, for example, the automatic measuring and recording process in a grain silo with x cells to be monitored, each with a measuring group of three resistance thermometers, with the measured values of three resistance thermometers forming a measuring group simultaneously are to be transferred to three writing measuring devices I, 1I, III that form a display group common to all measuring groups,
as shown for example in the prin zip in FIG.
From this it follows that, according to FIG. 3, both the measuring point relays Ml to M, as well as the measuring pause relay PR and the subdivision relay UR are to be designed with four poles, with the resistance thermometers Thl bis forming a measuring group on three poles or contacts Th or the pointer deflection resistors PW or UW are connected, while the fourth pole or
Contact serves as a switch for the power source of measuring devices I, II, III. The contact arrangement is made in a known manner such that when one of the measuring point relays Ml to M "or the measuring pause relay PR or the subdivision relay UR is switched on, the resistance thermometer or the pointer deflection resistors are switched on first and then the power source of the measuring devices will.
The mode of operation is as follows: If a switch-on button DE is pressed briefly by hand or automatically by a timer SU, the switch-on relay H14 switches on and is held on by contact 1114/1 m . The closing contact H14 / 2 can z. B. turn on an optical Signaleinrich device, not shown, and the opening contact H14 / 3 can, for.
B. let an auxiliary device, not shown, become ineffective for the duration of its open position. The closing contact H14 / 4 applies voltage to the busbars 6, 7.
A further closing contact H14 / 5 switches on the drive M of a changeover switch W (Fig. 2), alternately at certain time intervals the voltage-carrying busbar 6 via contact 3 with the busbar 4 and, after a pause, on the other hand via the contact 2 with the busbar 5 is connected ver. The duration of a switch-on fol lowing switching pause should z.
B. 30 sec, so that the busbars 4 and 5 are alternately under voltage for a duration of 30 seconds, whereupon a correspondingly long de-energized to stand for both busbars 4 and 5 occurs.
Since it is not always certain which position the changeover switch W will assume at the start of commissioning, a dependency relay H13 is provided to avoid incorrect switching, which only allows the switching pulses of the changeover switch W to effectively influence the control process in the prescribed manner.
when the switch-on circuit of the first control relay Hl has been prepared by a contact HIS / 2 of the dependency relay H13 and the contact 1 of the changeover switch W transmits its first pulse to the busbar 4.
Through the switch-on relay 111, contact H14 / 1; (Fig. 3) closed, so that the forward thrust drive (s) V for the writing strips of the measuring devices I, 1I, III (Fig. 3) are switched on.
At the same time, the pointer deflection relay PR is switched on, so that the pointers of the measuring devices I, 1I, III are guided into the measuring circuits after the start of the scale of the measuring devices as a result of the activation of the pause deflection resistors PW, so that the pens on the now in Feed movement located writing strips at the beginning of the scale first record a line running perpendicularly (Fig. 1c, un th).
The voltage pulse of 30 seconds transmitted by contact 1 of changeover switch W to busbar 4 initially only switches on a relay H "; whose contact H16 / 1 has a busbar 8 with the currently live Busbar 4 connects, but this initially has no effect.
On the other hand, a contact H ″, / 2 interrupts the circuit of the pointer deflection relay PR, so that the pause deflection resistors PW are no longer switched into the measuring circuits and the measuring devices I, 1I, III are no longer connected to voltage However, since their measuring mechanisms have no mechanical straightening force, their pointers will remain at the start of the scale and continue to record as before.
If the busbar 4 is de-energized by the expiry of contact 1, relay H16 switches off, where contact H "/ 1 opens and contact H16 / 2 closes again; PR switches the pause deflection resistors back into the measuring circuits, which However, this is not yet particularly noticeable on the writing strip because the measuring device pointers are still at the start of the scale.
After a pause of 30 seconds, for example, contact 2 of the changeover switch will energize busbar 5 for 30 seconds. First the dependency relay H13 switches on. Contact H13 / 1 initially causes the dependency relay H13 to hold itself via the busbar 7, while contact H13 /., Prepares the switch-on circuit for the first control relay Hl. Contact H13 / 3 opens and prevents reverse voltage on busbar 5.
The simultaneous switching on of a pause relay Hl "has no effect at first and is also immediately canceled by opening the contact H13 / 5.
At the same time as the dependency relay H13, a subdivision intermediate relay Hl. was also switched on, the break contact H17 / 1 of which opens and thus switches off the pointer deflection relay PR.
For this purpose the subdivision relay UR is switched on by the closing working contact H17 / and the also closing working contact HI ../ ss, so that now the subdivision deflection resistors UW (Fig. 3) in the measuring circuits of the measuring devices I, II, III are switched.
This causes a deflection of the measuring device pointers and thus also their nibs from the beginning of the scale to the end of the scale, so that a horizontal or approximately horizontal line is drawn on the writing strip of the measuring devices extending over their useful width, which is then drawn for the duration of the Contact connection 2, 6, 5 is vertical hochgezo gene (Fig. 1c).
If the contact connection 2, 6, 5 is canceled again as a result of the continuous rotation of the changeover switch W, the dependency relay H13 remains in its switched-on position for the time being, but the subdivision intermediate relay Hl switches; as a result of the absence of voltage on the busbar 5, whereby contact Hl-, 1, closes and contact HIV, opens. As a result, the subdivision relay UR switches off and instead the measurement pause relay PR switches on.
As a result, instead of the subdivision deflection resistors UW, the pause deflection resistances are switched into the measuring circuits of the measuring devices, so that the pointers previously located at the end of the scale are deflected back to the beginning of the scale, which in turn is reflected on the writing strip by a horizontal or approximately horizontal line is identified.
Two lines were drawn, which also form a strip that serves as a marker for the beginning of the individual measurement recordings that now follows.
Then the contact 1 of the changeover switch W establishes a connection 1, 6, 4. As a result, the control relay Hl is switched on via contact Hl "". Contact H1,1 opens and switches the dependency relay Hl ;; from, whose contacts H13 / 1, Hi3 /.,, Hl ;; / ;; open, whereas the contacts Hl "", and H, 3 ,, close.
Contact Hl, / .; causes relay H1,1 to switch on, whose contact Hl,; / '., switches off the measurement pause relay PR and thus removes the pause deflection resistances PA from the measuring circuits of the measuring devices, contact H, 6 /', prepares the circuit for the measuring point relay Ml, which is switched on by the contact H1 / 2, which is now closing on the control relay H.
Through this, three resistance thermometers TH, (Fig. 3) are switched into the measuring circuits of the measuring devices I, 1I, III, so that their pointers are guided from the start of the scale to one of the measured temperatures, the scale value. This is indicated on the writing strip by a horizontal line which, however, does not run to the end of the scale, but only extends over a length that corresponds to the actually measured temperature value.
If the pointer of each of the measuring devices has reached its measuring distance, the line drawn horizontally during the pointer deflection process is drawn vertically upwards during the further course of the contact connection 1, 6, 4.
After a certain time has elapsed, contact 1 of the changeover switch W runs back, so that the busbar 4 is de-energized and a measurement pause occurs. This switches relay Hl ,; from and the contact H ″ / which opens in the process switches off the measuring point relay Ml, as a result of which the resistance thermometers TH are removed from the measuring circuit of the measuring devices I, 1I, III.
The relay Ml; but also has its contact H, 6 / '., closed when it is switched off, as a result of which the measurement pause relay PR switches on and the pause deflection resistors PW are placed in the measuring circuits of the measuring devices 1, 1I, III.
As a result, the measuring device pointers are deflected from their previously assumed measurement value position and fed to the start of the scale, so that a horizontal line is again recorded on each of the writing strips, which creates another strip that documents the measurement value achieved, i.e. H. The vertical line recorded in the scale area indicates the respective scale value, while the horizontal lines serve to delimit and better evaluate the individual scale or measured values.
The control relay Hl is not switched off in spite of the absence of voltage in the busbar, but remains in the switched-on position, but blocks reverse voltage to busbar 4 by opening its contact Hl /, and also prepares the switch-on circuit for the control relay H2 by closing its contact H1 / 5.
During the measurement pause, a vertical line is drawn on the writing strip at the beginning.
After a certain time, the contact 2 of the changeover switch W establishes the connection 2, 6, 5, so that the busbar 5 is connected to voltage. As a result, the control relay H is switched on via contacts H2 / 3 and Hl /;, which is kept in the on position via its contact H2 / 1 and prevents reverse voltage to busbar 5 by opening its contact H2 / 3.
At the same time, the pause relay H15 switches on and opens its contact H, 5 / :, 1., Which causes the measurement pause relay. PR switches off and the pause deflection resistances PW are taken from the measuring circuits of the measuring devices 1, 11, 111.
The control relay H and the pause intermediate relay HI "also close their contacts Hei. And H15 / 1, which means that the measuring point relay M" is switched on and thus the resistance thermometer TH., Into the measuring circuits of the measuring devices 1, 11 , 111 are switched so that the measuring device pointers are steered from the start of the scale to a scale value corresponding to the measured temperature.
This is in turn indicated on the writing strip by correspondingly long lines, which, as in the first previous measurement after Be calming the pointer during the duration of the contact connection 2, 6, 5 is then pulled up vertically. The vertical line or the end of the horizontal line in turn indicate the measured value or the scale value.
Then the contact connection 2, 6, 5 is interrupted, whereby a measurement pause occurs again and the resistance thermometer TH2 is switched off by switching off the pause intermediate relay H15 and thus also the measuring point relay M. On the other hand, the measurement pause relay PR now switches on again and switches the pause deflection resistors into the measuring circuits of the measuring devices 1, 11, 111, so that the measuring device pointers are steered to the start of the scale and horizontal lines are thus created on the writing strip.
The control relay H2 remains switched on until further notice.
Through the changeover switch W, the busbars 4 and 5 are connected to voltage in a constantly changing sequence through the contacts 1 and 2 and switched off again after a certain time. As a result, the necessary individual measurements are then carried out in the manner described until, for example, ten measurements have been made each time, i.e. H. until all of the control relays Hl to Ho belonging to the aforementioned single row were switched on.
At the tenth measurement effected by the control relay Ho, a switching process is initiated by this or its contact H6 / 2, which on the one hand causes the subdivision of the measurement records noted on the writing strip into so-called groups of ten and on the other hand the Measurement process continues.
When the control relay Ho was switched on, the switch-on circuit for a transfer relay H11 was prepared by its contact H6 / 2. If connection 2, 6, 5 is opened, a measurement pause occurs first, which causes the measuring device pointer to be deflected towards the start of the scale, whereby a line is drawn again on the writing strip, which then runs vertically at the start of the scale for the duration of the measurement pause .
When the connection 1, 6, 4 is re-established, the relay H16 switches on, but this still has no effect that, on the one hand, the measuring device pointers are already at the start of the scale and, on the other hand, the measuring point relays Ml connected to the busbar 4 'as a result of the open contacts H, / '4, H4 / 4, H6 / 4, H8 / 4 and HO / 5 cannot be switched on.
At the same time, however, the transfer relay HI is switched on, which is kept in the switched-on position via its contact H11 / 3, with the relay Hlo being switched off at the same time by opening the contact H11 / 5.
By opening the contact H, 1/4, the busbar 7 is de-energized, so that the control relays HI-H6, which were previously in the switched-on position, are switched off and the control relays H1-H6 are switched off and their contacts assume their basic position. At the same time, a decade relay was switched on via contact H11 / 1,
which is kept in the on position via its contact H16 / 1, in which case the opening of contact H16 / 5 prevents reverse voltage on the busbar 4. The group relay Hlo has also opened a contact H16 / .1, which interrupts the common opposite line of the measuring point relays Ml to Mlo forming a group, so that they cannot switch on again while the measuring process is continued.
Furthermore, H16 has closed a contact Hl, / 3, which switches on the common counter-line of a further group of measuring point relays Ml, to M26, but this initially has no effect. Finally, contact H16 / 2 was made, which prepares the switch-on circuit of the next decade relay H26, which can only switch on after the control relay group H1 to H6 has been switched through again.
In the meantime, the connection 1, 6, 4 was interrupted again by the changeover switch W, so that the transfer relay Hl switches off again, while the group relay H "remains switched on. By closing the contact H, 1 / _I, the busbar 7 receives voltage again.
After the switching pause between the contacts 1 and 2 has elapsed, the connection 2, 6, 5 is re-established, so that the relays Hl "" Hl; and UR switch on and a further long bar is registered, whereupon ten more individual measurements run via the measuring point relays M11 to M.0 by successively switching on the control relays HI to H ".
Once this has been done, there is another switchover to a further measuring decade analogous to the processes described.
These processes continue automatically until the last measuring decade prepared by the decade relay H .. ,, has run through. Then, initiated by a contact H, / 3, a closing relay H,. for switching on, whose contact H12 /, opens, whereby relay Hl, switches off and by opening contact 11l4 / 4, the busbar again separates from the voltage source.
According to this, the entire measuring device including the measuring devices I, 1I, III and their writing strip feed drives V are out of operation.
The strip lengths expired during the measurement process then have records similar to the type shown in FIG. 1c. In the case of calibrated writing strips, the evaluation can be carried out by direct reading of the recorded pointer deflections, or if the writing strips are not calibrated for reasons of economy should, in a known way, by placing a transparent evaluation template.
To bring about a further automatic sequence of a measuring process, it is only necessary to initiate it by briefly pressing the button DE either manually or automatically by means of a timer SU.
The circuit arrangement shown can be expanded to an unlimited number of measuring points by adding further decade relays of the series Hla to Hl. Or further measuring point relays Ml-M., Whereby according to the example a newly added decade relay always extends the circuit arrangement to ten measuring points causes.
Furthermore, it would also be possible, without impairing the inventive concept, to optionally carry out control readings by appropriately actuating auxiliary switches such as buttons, rotary selectors or the like on the measuring relay Ml-M while the automatic control is being shut down.
For such cases, precautions are taken that only allow secondary measurements if, for example, a changeover switch DA has been operated beforehand using a special key which, on the one hand, enables the circuit for the shunting of the measuring point relays and the display instruments and, on the other hand, in this case prevents the automatic operation of the control. The measure could also be extended to the effect that the shunt can only be established for the duration of a certain time, for example by means of a timer.
It is also conceivable to expand the circuit arrangement in such a way that certain processes are registered by special counters or reported by optical or acoustic signals.
In the case of measuring devices with measuring devices, the pointers of which are moved into a zero position by a mechanical straightening force during a measurement break, the measure of pointer return is eliminated by an artificially generated measured value.
In order to achieve a particularly economical consumption of the writing strip, a measure can be taken which has the effect that the feed drive for the writing strip is only switched on during each measurement pause between the individual measuring point switchovers within an overall measuring process is stopped for the duration of each individual measurement.
In this way, for each individual measurement made, two lines extending from the beginning of the scale to the area of the measured value, forming an acute angle, are created on the writing strip, the vertex then identifying the measured value, as shown in FIG. 4a. Depending on the feed speed of the writing strip and the duration of a respective measurement pause, the individual recordings are then arranged at a corresponding distance from one another. The same applies to the division of the records into decades. In this case, the lines that form acute angles extend from the start of the scale to the end of the scale or almost there.
If this is followed, it is possible, for example at a feed speed of 600 mm / h and a 30-second switchover pause per measuring point, to observe around 50 measurement records on the writing measuring device without having to remove the writing strip.
However, one could also proceed in such a way that the writing strip feed drive is only switched on for the duration of each individual measurement. The recordings are carried out in the opposite way, in such a way that the vertices of all recorded acute angles lie evenly at the start of the scale, whereas the measured values are recorded on the writing strip as a vertical line at a height corresponding to the feed speed and duration of the individual measurement will.
The overall image of the recordings then gives the impression of a layer of bars of different lengths placed on top of one another, as shown in FIG. 4b.
Finally, there is also the possibility of combining the switching elements required to bring about the various recording forms into a combination, in which case the desired recording form can then be preselected by means of a multiple-position switch or switch.
