Description

Transition arrangement on articulated vehicle The present invention relates to a transition arrangement on articulated vehicle, which arrangement has a transition bridge that connects two adjacent car bodies supported in a common bogie.

In a known manner, such transitions are carried out through the use of articulated cylinders, which construction allows very large Winkelaus strokes of the individual car bodies and thus allows driving on tight curves.

The purpose of the present invention is to create a simpler transition arrangement which is suitable for articulated vehicles that do not have to drive on tight curves. The transition arrangement according to the invention is characterized in that the transition bridge consists of several parts connected to one another in an articulated manner, one bridge part resting on slideways in the individual car bodies.

The intermediate space between the car bodies can preferably be sealed by means of bellows and hinged sheet metal flaps that slide on one another.

The accompanying drawing shows an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention, namely, FIG. 1 shows a horizontal section through the transition arrangement in a schematic representation and FIG. 2 shows a corresponding vertical section on a larger scale.

The articulated vehicle has a car body 1 and a car body 2, which are connected to one another by a transition arrangement. The sealing of the space between tween the two car bodies 1 and 2 is carried out by bellows and articulated sheet metal plates, wel che slide on each other. The two car bodies 1 and 2 are supported in a rotating ball socket 3, which is arranged in the cradle 4 of the bogie. The car bodies 1 and 2 have slideways 5 and 6 on which the middle part 7c of the actual transition bridge 7 is supported. Between the car body 1 and 2, bellows 8 are stretched GE, which are covered by sheet metal flaps 9. Each sheet metal flap 9 is articulated at 10 and on the other end slides on a corresponding sheet metal apron 11 which is rigidly attached to the other car body.

Conveniently, outer cover plates 12 are also present, which are rigidly arranged on the car box 1 and 2 and overlap each other with their mutually facing ends.

The transition bridge 7 consists of three miteinan the articulated parts 7a, 7b and 7c, where the middle part 7c has a vertical center pin 13, which is held in a support 14 of the vehicle box 1. The transition bridge is controlled in a known manner by linkage 15.

The advantage of the transition arrangement described is that a large transition remains free between the two car bodies, which can also be safely entered while driving through curves.

According to a variant not shown in the drawing, the middle part of the overpass bridge is not stored in the support 14, but screwed directly to the bogie cradle. This design has the particular advantage that the bridge is set into the respective angular position by the movement of the bogie, so that no special control device is necessary.
