Fig. 1 ist eine Vorderansicht des Tores.
Upward Opening Gate The present invention relates to an upward opening gate, e.g. B. a garage door, which is divided into several, vertically guided gate sections under, which extend over the entire width of the gate and lie in parallel planes "with the under most gate section means are assigned to pull it up.
The essence of the invention is that two adjacent door sections, one at the top and the other at the bottom, oppositely directed, cooperating support flanges aufwei sen, and that the bottom door section is provided with inwardly protruding driver arms, which when pulling up the bottom door section Reach under the higher-lying door sections one after the other to bring them into their open position.
On the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention is illustrated.
Fig. 1 is a front view of the gate.
Fig. 2 is a simplified, vertical section along the line II-11 in Fig. 1, with the door closed.
Fig. 3 is a horizontal section along the line III-III in Fig. 1
FIG. 4 is again a vertical section, but drawn on a larger scale and in more detail, of the closed door with openings, and FIG. 5 is a section of the door similar to that in FIG. 4, but in the open state of the same.
The particular for storage rooms, such as. B. garages, certain gate according to Fig. 1-5 is in three Torab sections extending over the entire width of the gate 10. 11 and 12 divided. each of which has a frame composed of U-shaped profile iron 10q, 11a or 12a, in which a door panel made of wood is provided. These gate sections are arranged in parallel planes (see Figure 2) and individually guided in the vertical direction.
The vertical guides have a vertical, T-shaped guide rail 13 for each of the frames 10a, 11a and 12a on the end sides of the frames, which is attached with its flange on the relevant side leg of the gate stop frame (see Fig. 3). The frame 10a of the lowest gate section 10 has two ends at the top and bottom laterally protruding bearing pins 14 provided, which each carry a roller 15 .
The web part of the guide rail 13, which forms a guide rib, extends between the rollers 15 of the upper and lower roller pairs, which is of particular importance since this lower gate section opens when it opens of the door to seeks to edge, which is prevented by the roller and rail guidance just described. The two frames 11a and 12a are also guided at the end. Here, however, U-irons 16 are attached to the frame ends, the legs of which grip the guide rib of the T-shaped guide rails 13 and between which a guide roller 17 is inserted by means of insert pieces is stored.
The lateral guides of all door sections are surrounded by protective housings 18 .
When the gate is closed, the gate sections offer a step-shaped view from the outside. As shown in FIG. 4, the upper, horizontal frame limbs of one gate section and the lower, horizontal frame limb of the next higher gate section, adjacent to one another in this state, have support flanges 10b and 1, respectively 1 b. those in Fili. 2 have been omitted for the sake of simplicity.
On the lower side of the upper support flange 10b, llb and 12b of the gate sections 10, 11 and 12 are tape seals 19 attached, which rest on the lower support flange of the lower frame leg of the adjacent gate section when the gate is closed.
On the lower frame leg of the lowermost gate section 10 , driver arms 20 projecting inward are attached to the ends thereof. Means for pulling it up are assigned to this gate section 10 . These means are known in and of themselves, so that it should suffice to point out that the same two pull cables 21 (see FIG. 4) that are fastened with their lower ends on the side tabs of the lower gate section are present when the gate is opened be rolled up by means of a motor-driven cable winch.
When the lowest gate section 10 is pulled up, the driver arms 20 of the same first engage under the lower, horizontal frame leg of the next upper gate section 11 , push this upwards and then reach under with their end part lower, horizontal frame leg of the uppermost door section 12, which you also push up until all door sections have reached the opening position shown in Fig. 5, in which they are stored in front of a metal skylight window 22 of the door.
A U-rail 23 (see Fig. 4 and 5) is attached to the lower side of the lower, horizontal frame leg of the lowest goal section 10 , in which a seal 24 is inserted, which rises on the floor when the gate is closed.
