Device for transmitting a rotational movement The object of the present invention is a device for transmitting a rotational movement, with a sealing membrane arranged between the drive side and the output side.
Devices of this type are known in which a rotating drive part transmits its movement to a driven part, the two drive parts penetrating a rotary bearing in the sealing membrane; this also applies where the two drive parts are arranged in a non-coaxial manner. On the other hand, it was not previously known that two rotating drive parts intersecting at an angle with their axes are completely sealed through the membrane, i. H. to be separated from one another by a membrane while avoiding a pivot bearing between the membrane and the drive parts, which always forms a leak.
In contrast, the transmission device according to the present invention has a two-part drive body, the drive part of which has a pivot bearing for the driven part that intersects the rotational axis of the drive part at an angle, in which, on the other hand, in a perpendicular to the pivot bearing axis and through the intersection of the latter with the mentioned th plane going through the axis of rotation, the sealing membrane is clamped in a rotationally fixed manner, the circumferential edge of which is clamped between a drive-side and an output-side housing part in a plane passing through the above-mentioned intersection point and lying perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the drive part, the whole in such a way
that when the drive part rotates about its axis of rotation, the axis of the output part revolves on a conical surface with a point at the aforementioned axis intersection and each intersection of the output part that does not go through this point and is in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the drive part causes a translatory circular movement performs at this level.
As a result of the construction mentioned, the drive side is completely sealed against the output side without inadmissible deformations of the sealing membrane executing a tumbling movement about the axis of rotation in its central clamping part.
The device described can, for. B. be designed as a pump or agitator.
In the accompanying drawing, two Ausfüh approximately examples of the device according to the invention are shown; It shows: FIG. 1 the first example in axial section and FIG. 2 the second example in axial section.
The device according to FIG. 1 has a drive-side housing part 1 and an output-side housing part 2. The two housing parts 1 and 2 are firmly connected to one another by means of annular flanges with the interposition of the circumference edge of a circular sealing membrane 3.
Coaxially to the membrane 3, in a bearing 4 attached to the front wall of the drive-side housing part 1, a shaft 5 belonging to the drive part of the device is mounted with an axis of rotation a, at whose end part protruding into the housing part 1 a driver 6 is attached.
A bearing 7 is attached to this driver 6 at a radial distance from the axis of rotation a of the shaft 5, the axis of which is the axis of rotation a in the parting plane c of the two housing parts 1, 2 , d. H. cuts in the central plane of the membrane 3; the intersection of the two axes, a, b , is thus in the center of the circular membrane 3. In the bearing 7, the cylindrical shaft 9 of the driven part of the device is rotatably mounted and secured against axial displacement.
The shaft 9 penetrates a central opening of the up device membrane 3 and is connected by means of a Klemmvorrich device 10 solid and liquid-tight with this membrane; the clamping surfaces of the device 10 lie in planes perpendicular to the axis b, so that the center plane of the part of the membrane clamped to the shaft 9 passes through the intersection of the axes a and b . The output-side housing part 2 has two conical walls 2a and 2b arranged at a radial distance coaxially to one another and to the axis of rotation a ,
which expand outwards away from the membrane 3. The cone angle of the inner wall 2a is slightly larger than the cone angle of the outer wall 2b; these walls 2a, 2b form the circumferential limit of an annular chamber 11 which narrows conically in cross section towards the outside which is closed on the outside by a front wall of the housing part 2. In this annular chamber 11 protrudes a conically ver tapering body 12, which forms an axial extension of the shaft 9.
If suitable inlets and outlets are arranged in the housing part 2 or in the annular chamber 11, the motion transmission device described can serve as a liquid pump. When the shaft 5 is driven in rotation, the output part 9, 12 is driven via the driver 6 and the bearing 7 in such a way that the axis b of the output part is on a conical surface with a tip at the intersection of the axes a and b rotates, with each cut surface of the body 12 that does not go through this point and is located in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation a executes a translatory circular movement in this plane,
during the end of the driven part 9, 12 itself does not rotate about its axis b. The body 12 can act as a displacement piston in the ring space 11.
The sealing membrane 3 clamped between the housing parts 1, 2 and on the drive part 9, 12 seals the interior of the housing part 1 against the interior of the housing part 2 completely. You lines between relatively moving elemen th are avoided. The central part of the membrane 3, which is clamped to the shaft 9, performs a wobbling movement about the axis of rotation a, which is sufficient for the angles between the axes a and b which are desirable in practice Radial dimension of the membrane does not result in any inadmissible deformation of the latter.
The device shown in Fig. 2 can be used as a stirrer with the drive part completely sealed agitation chamber. It has two Ge housing parts 13 and 14, which are firmly connected to each other by means of edge flanges with the interposition of the peripheral edge of a circular sealing membrane 15. A shaft 16 which is rotatable about its axis a and forms the drive part of the device is mounted in the front wall of the drive-side housing part 13, coaxially to the membrane 15. The shaft 16 has an angled extension arm 17, the axis b of which is inclined to the axis of rotation n. The axis a in the parting plane c of the two housing parts 13, 14, i. H. in the center of the circular membrane 15 cuts.
On the extension arm 17 of the shaft 16, a cap 18, which forms the output part of the device and protrudes into the housing part 14, is rotatably mounted. At the membrane-side end part of this cap 18 penetrating a central opening of the membrane, the membrane 15 is clamped tightly by means of a clamping device 19, so that the central membrane portion clamped in the device 19 is perpendicular to the axis b, through the intersection of the the latter with the axis a leading plane lies.
When the shaft 16 rotates, the axis b of the arm 17 or the cap 18 moves on a conical shell with a tip at the intersection of the axes a and , b, while each does not go through this point in a to Axis of rotation a vertical plane lying low cut surface of the cap 18 executes a translational circular movement in this plane; a natural rotation of the cap 18 about the axis b thus does not take place. Analogously to the example described first, the central membrane part clamped to the cap 18 performs a tumbling movement about the axis of rotation a.
Here, too, the interior of the drive-side housing part 13 is completely sealed off from the interior of the output-side housing part 14; Seals between parts rotating relative to one another are avoided, and if suitable dimensions are selected, no inadmissible deformations of the sealing membrane are to be expected. , The membrane can be made of rubber, plastic or metal. Static and dynamic imbalances of the rotating parts can easily be created by suitable means.
