Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht des Transportgerätes,
Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht zu Fig. 1,
School furniture transport device
The devices which are used to this day for transporting school furniture are either very expensive, so that they are not worthwhile for the little use, or driving them is quite tedious.
The present invention aims to provide a transport device with which school furniture can be easily moved in all directions and also over door sills into the corridor and which is nevertheless cheap, and in which a school furniture only has to be lifted on one side in order to use such a device to be able to capture.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, namely show:
Fig. 1 is a side view of the transport device,
FIG. 2 is a plan view of FIG. 1,
Fig. 3 is a side view of the front support member on a larger scale.
This school furniture transport device has a cross strut 1. A castor 2 is attached to each of its two ends. In the middle of the cross strut 1, two V-shaped forwardly directed support arms 3 are attached, the free ends of which are at a distance from the floor when all three rollers 2 and 12 are resting on the floor. These two support arms 3 are fastened in the middle of the cross strut 1 because they give way evenly when the door sills are driven over, so that the benches standing on them do not wobble to the side.
To lift the furniture foot b, a tongue-shaped gripper 4, directed horizontally forward, is attached at the bottom of the free ends of the support arms 3.
A square holder 5 is also attached to the end of the support arms 3, parallel to the cross strut 1, standing outwards. The two slides 6 made of square tube, which can be fixed by means of the clamping screws 7, are pushed over these.
These two slides have a guide tab 8 directed horizontally and obliquely outwards and forwards at the outermost end. The distance between these guide tabs is set in such a way that the foot of the piece of furniture to be grasped has plenty of space between them. As a continuation of the support arms 3, the square tube 9a of the rod 9 is attached to one, for example at the right end of the cross strut 1, at right angles to this and running horizontally. Its continuation is formed by a smaller square tube 9b which can be displaced in the tube 9a. With the aid of the clamping device 10, these two pipes are firmly connected to one another. At the end of the tube 9b, the steeply upward and rearward directed tube 9c is attached, the transversely bent end 9d of which serves as a handle.
Below, in the area of the transition from 9b to 9c, i.e. H. on the middle part of the rod 9, a holder 11 is attached laterally, for example on the left side, to which a swivel castor 12 is attached. The lateral distance from the rod 9 to this role corresponds to the distance between the rod 9 and the center of the cross brace 1. As close as possible to the steering roller 12, but without hindering its free rotation, there is a brace 13 and angled downwards on the holder 11 attached to this the cross member 14 formed from an angle iron and running parallel to the cross strut 1, which is at a distance from the floor when the three rollers rest on the floor. The length of this carrier 14 is slightly greater than the distance between the two rubber buffers on the furniture foot a, which serve as floor supports for the furniture.
The charging of the school furniture is done as follows: The device is moved in the longitudinal direction of the school furniture under it that the two grippers 4, which form the front support elements, rest on the front furniture foot b and the cross member 14, which forms the rear support elements, rest on the rear furniture foot a. By moving the rod part 9b in the rod part 9a, the distance between the support members is adapted to that of the furniture feet, but the smallest possible distance between the cross member 14 and the grippers 4 must be at least twice as large as the distance from the grippers 4 to the castors 2. In In this position, the front part of the device is guided laterally by the two guide tabs 8, which are longer than the grippers 4 and are adapted to the width of the furniture foot b.
By lifting the rear part of the device on the handle 9d, the grippers 4 are lowered so far that they can grasp under the furniture foot, the front two swivel castors 2 forming the pivot axis. Then the rear part of the school furniture is lifted so far that the lower edge of the foot a is higher than the cross member 14. Now the device is pushed until the support arms 3 are on the front furniture foot and the grippers 4 grip under them. If the rear foot of the school furniture is now lowered onto the cross member 14 and the roller 12 is placed on the floor again, the two furniture feet are on the raised support members 4 and 14 of the device. The school furniture is ready to drive on the transport device.
The rod 9 is attached laterally so that the device can also be moved from the front side under the school furniture, which is more advantageous in by far most cases. With a centrally guided rod 9 this is not possible because of the column c of the school furniture arranged in the front half of the school furniture.
