Description

Filter system with a supply channel for the common supply of washing water and compressed air The invention relates to a filter system with a supply channel for the common supply of washing water and compressed air, in which pipes are provided for the extraction of compressed air and washing water.

Channels for the common supply of compressed air and washing water during the filter washing are already known (see German Pa tentschrift No. 721 538). However, these known common seeds for the supply of compressed air and the washing water have the disadvantage that a very specific water level must be maintained, which must therefore be completely still in the entire length of the channel. It has been shown that the supply of compressed air and the washing water creates strong currents in the channel that do not allow a steady air cushion.

The air extraction pipes are therefore intermittently loaded during the filter washing process, air in places and washing water in places due to the wave-like movement of the water level, which must lead to the completely uneven and intermittent distribution of the compressed air. This known embodiment has therefore not proven itself in practice and has not found any widespread use.

The present invention avoids this disadvantage and achieves this according to the invention in that the air extraction pipes in the supply channel are provided with upwardly directed bends that extend towards its ceiling and the water extraction pipes with downwardly directed bends that extend towards its base.

This inventive measure has the advantage that a continuous supply of compressed air from the supply channel under the filter base immediately at the beginning. the filter wash occurs, and that this continuous removal is guaranteed during the entire operation regardless of pressure fluctuations and un dependent on a change in the height of the water level in the feed channel.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown in section.

The feed channel 1 is with the pure water chamber 5 of the filter system. the air extraction pipes 2 and the water extraction pipes 3 connected. The air extraction tubes 2 are arranged directly under the filter interposed floor 4 equipped with upholstery tube nozzles 4a and provided in the feed channel 1 with upwardly directed bends that extend towards the ceiling 11 of the feed channel 1. Immediately above the sole of the pure water chamber, the water supply pipes 3 are arranged, which are provided with vertical, downwardly directed turns that extend against the sole 12 of the feed channel 1.

In the pure water chamber 5 there is a above the water level. Air cushion 6 ,. which is connected through the tubes 2 with the air cushion 7 of the supply channel, while the water supply tubes 3 extend into the washing water space 8 of the supply channel.

When washing the filter system, air is fed from the air cushion 7 through the tubes 2 into the Luftpol ster 6 of the pure water chamber 5, while the washing water is fed from the room 8 through the tubes 3 of the sole of the pure water room 5.

This supply of air and water is maintained evenly during the entire washing time, regardless of any pressure fluctuations and regardless of the level of the water level in the supply channel 1, which can fluctuate, for example, between an upper position 9 and a lower position 10, without any change in the supply of air and washing water to the pure water chamber 5 occurring.

On the left side of the drawing, another example of the Fil age is shown, in which the distribution of the air and the washing water in the filter is carried out through pipes which are provided with outlet slots and are connected to the pipes 2 and 3.
