From a block-shaped part and from a connecting part existing building element toy or model building elements that are united by connecting means during assembly and thereby give the finished building a cohesion work are known.
In the known designs, however, the connecting elements are located in the plane of the wall panels to be built, for example in such a way that the pins or the like, which connect the components to one another, are parallel and in the wall surface to be erected.
Such toy building or model building blocks have already been designed in such a way that they have recesses running parallel to one another, in which shoulders are provided for connecting means, in which the recesses have continuously the same cross-section and the shoulders point into the recesses enter. The shoulders have bushings for the connecting means designed as clamping means in the form of plugs.
Other known building blocks are divided into several profiled cells, which have the same substantially square cross-sections, also in the middle of each cell a through hole or a non-continuous hollow space is provided. But even with these compo elements, the connecting pieces are inserted parallel to the wall surface to be built. This limits the possible combinations.
The invention relates to a component consisting of a block-shaped part and a connecting part, the block-shaped part having recesses running parallel to one another which are perpendicular to the longitudinal plane, into which recesses separate connecting parts can be inserted to connect the block-shaped parts .
The components according to the invention are characterized in that the recesses in the block-shaped part of the component are honeycomb-like and exclusively perpendicular to its longitudinal plane, and that the connecting part separated from the block-shaped part of the component has at least two interconnected pins .
The components can be made of any material and any colored material, preferably made of plastic.
The component described can be joined together in the most varied of ways during construction. For example, block-shaped components - either lined up with their narrow sides in a row - can be connected in the same plane by means of flat connecting parts provided on one side with tenons to form larger, level plates.
or they can - with their broad sides lined up next to one another - be connected to thicker, two-layer or multi-layer components by means of flat connecting parts provided with tenons on both sides. Finally, the block-shaped components can otherwise with each other in any, preferably at right angles to each other directions, such. B.
Walls, ceilings and roofs can be connected two or three dimensionally.
In the drawings, exemplary embodiments of the component according to the invention are shown. 1 shows an example of a rectangular, plate-shaped component A with square cutouts C; View from the broadside.

66 connection part according to FIGS. 62 and 61, in which the projection is absent, particularly suitable for series connection of plug-in modules with projection; By means of this connecting part plug-in modules can also be connected to the two other right-angled spatial directions.
Fig. 67 is a perspective view of a connecting part of two known plug-in blocks with a projection according to FIG. 1 by means of a connecting part which apart from the pin engaging in the recesses according to FIG. 60 on the left has four larger pins of square cross section - it can also otherwise pegs of a suitable cross-section - which engage in the grooves of the plug-in modules for the purpose of an even better connection. The thickness of this connecting part can generally be any;
It is particularly useful if the thickness - measured for the larger pins - is as large as the groove width of the plug-in module to be connected, so that plug-in modules can also be connected perpendicularly to the connection direction shown.
68 is a perspective view of a connecting part for plug-in modules according to FIG. 67, which alone, by means of the larger pins additionally seen in FIG. 67, connects two plug-in modules to one another. This part is mainly used in plug-in modules where the attachment of the recesses according to FIG. 1 is not possible or is only possible with difficulty, for. B. for plug-in modules or very small plug-in modules.
