Chair frame The subject matter of the present invention is a chair frame, characterized in that the seat and backrest meet at two points and that supports directed backwards act at the points of contact.
In the known chair frames of this type who attached the seat and backrest independently of one another to the supporting frame, so that a considerable amount of material and processing costs is necessary. These are partly due to the fact that the connecting elements must be kept particularly stable with regard to the high stress, but essentially because high-quality material is to be used for this. The use of additional fasteners also results in restrictions in the design of the model, so that in these cases the desired aesthetic effect is not achieved.
The aim of the invention is to create an elegant piece of seating furniture with the tightest of resources, which corresponds to all seating requirements in particular. The boundaries of the seat and backrest can penetrate one another or be pushed into one another.
Means can be provided which result in a rigid connection between the seat and the backrest, so that both pieces form one part. The seat and backrest can be upholstered, with molded panels or upholstery that form the seat and backrest surfaces of the chair.
The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing in exemplary embodiments. FIG. 1 shows a front view of the chair frame in a schematic representation, FIG. 2 is a side view and FIG. 3 is a plan view of FIG. 1 4 shows a second exemplary embodiment in a perspective view, FIG. 5 shows another exemplary embodiment of the chair frame with three legs, FIG. 6 shows a chair frame with four legs, FIG. 7 shows in perspective an embodiment of the chair frame,
in which the delimitation of the seat and backrest get a closed shape, Fig. 8 shows a perspective view of a fully covered chair frame according to Fig. 7.
According to FIGS. 1 to 3 , the ring-shaped boundary of the seat 1 penetrates the ring-shaped boundary of the backrest 2. The seat and backrest are covered with a covering < B> 3 , which extends up to the touching points 5 of the two annular boundaries and forms an opening 4 here. The backward-facing supports 6 of the support frame are connected to the points 5 of the seat and backrest borders.
- According to FIG. 4, the seat and backrest are designed in the shape of a tub. The seat pan 11 and back pan 12 are pushed over one another in their converging corners 14 and firmly connected. The supporting frame 13, which is designed as a foot, is also connected to these contact points 14.
The example according to FIG. 5 shows a chair frame with three legs, in which the rear legs 21 merge into the seat delimitation 23 . The forefoot 24 is attached in the middle to the seat border 23 . The backrest limitation 25 is attached to the contact point 22, for example by welding. Supports 20 can be attached to the backrest 25, as indicated by dash-dotted lines.
An exemplary embodiment of a chair frame with four legs is shown in FIG. 6, the front legs 26 at a distance from the point of contact 22 on the seat border 23 > are attached. The backrest limitation 25 and the front legs 26 can form one part, with a short transition part 27 extending from the inside against the seat limitation 23 and attached to it. In this case, the chair then consists of two interlocking frame parts 21, 23 and 25, 26, 27, the manufacture of which is particularly inexpensive.
The execution of this chair frame then takes place with the most economical use of pipe or other profiles without the aid of additional support or connecting means, whereby the principle is adhered to that the seat limit and backrest limit meet at the point 22 where the backward chair legs attack. The design of the outer seat and backrest limits can be made as desired according to the respective taste.
FIG. 7 illustrates a chair frame in which the seat delimitation 31 and the backrest delimitation 32 are given a closed shape by being moved over the point of contact 33 are also continued. The support frame 34, which is designed as a foot and is provided with a floor support 35 , is again attached to the contact point 33 . The connecting bar 36 serves to secure the seat and extends from the front vertex of the seat border to the lower vertex of the backrest border.
According to FIG. 8, the seat and backrest each form a shell which, depending on requirements, can consist of simple covering or also of full upholstery 37, 38 . The seat and backrest borders form an advantageous option for holding the covering or upholstery. There is also the possibility of designing the seat and backrest shells separately and providing an opening. But you can also create a closed transition.
This embodiment of the chair frame results in a particularly advantageous shell furniture, the advantages of which are also the possibility of the free-swinging design. It goes without saying that this chair frame can also be provided with three or four legs if the free-swinging design is not desired.
The design of the chair frame according to the invention can also be done in such a way that connection pieces for the backward-facing chair legs are also arranged at the contact points at which the seat and backrest limiters are connected to one another.
