Récipient à usages multiples
La présente invention concerne un récipient pouvant servir à la fois de boite d'emballage et de cabas comprenant un fond et des parois latérales rectangulaires dont deux au moins sont prolongées par des rabats supérieurs permettant de fermer ledit récipient, et caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte, sur chacune des deux parois latérales, entre celles qui sont munies desdits rabats, des lignes de pliage formées de deux segments de droites inclinés symétriquement par rapport à l'axe vertical de symétrie desdites parois et partant des extrémités des bords inférieurs desdites parois, le récipient se présentant sous la forme d'une boîte parallélépipédique droite,
et les lignes de pliage permettant d'obtenir en tirant le côté supérieur desdites parois vers l'extérieur un cabas dont les anses sont constituées par lesdits rabats supérieurs des parois opposées comportant à cet effet des ouvertures.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, deux formes d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue en plan d'un flan à partir duquel on réalise le récipient.
La fig. 2 est une vue en perspective d'un récipient, en forme de boîte, obtenu par pliage classique du flan de la fig. 1.
La fig. 3 est une vue analogue à la fig. 2 du même récipient, déformé suivant les lignes de pliage pour réaliser un cabas.
La fig; 4 est une vue en perspective d'une partie du cabas de la fig. 3.
La fig. 5 est une vue partielle du flan de la fig. 1, montrant une variante de disposition des lignes de pliage.
Sur la fig. 1, on a représenté un flan rectangulaire destiné à former par pliage et collage le récipient. De préférence, ce plan est en carton comportant deux épaisseurs collées l'une sur l'autre. A l'aide d'une machine on marque en creux sur une demiépaisseur du flan des droites orthogonales constituant les arêtes d'un premier récipient à obtenir de manière à former quatre faces latérales 1, 1', 2 et 2', quatre prolongements ou rabats supérieurs 3, 3' -et 4, 4' et quatre rabats ou prolongements inférieurs 5, 5' et 6, 6'.
Sur chacune des faces opposées 1 et 1', on trace en creux (au maximum sur une demi-épaisseur du flan pour ne pas nuire à sa résistance) deux droites 7, 7a partant du sommet des deux angles inférieurs de la face et se coupant au milieu 8 du côté supérieur. Ces droites sont prolongées en 9 et 9a sur chacun des rabats supérieurs correspondants 3 et 3'.
D'autre part, sur chacun des autres rabats supé rieurs 4 et 4', on découpe trois des côtés d'un quadrilatère 10, par exemple un trapèze, le quatrième côté étant marqué en creux.
En pliant le flan selon les côtés des faces rectangulaires ou carrées 1, 1', 2 et 2', on obtiens une caisse parallélépipédique droite telle que représentée sur la fig. 2, en prenant-soin toutefois de rabattre d'abord les prolongements 3 et 3', les prolongements 4 et 4' rabattus ensuite formant le couvercle proprement dit de la boîte.
Cette boîte peut servir par exemple pour transporter une marchandise depuis le fabricant jusque chez le détaillant. Ce dernier vide alors la boîte de son contenu, rabat les prolongements 3 et 3' pour les appliquer contre la surface intérieure des faces 1 et 1', de telle sorte que les droites 9 et 9a coïncident avec les droites 7 et 7a (fig. 4). En exerçant une traction, dans le sens des flèches F sur les- milieux 8 des côtés supérieurs des faces 1, 1', on plie lesdites faces le long des arêtes 7 et 7a, tandis que les faces 2 et 2' qui étaient parallèles, se rapprochent l'une de l'au tre à leur extrémité supérieure.
On obtient ainsi un cabas (fig. 3) qui peut être tenu à la main par les rabats 4 et 4' qui prolongent sensiblement les faces 2 et 2' et forment à l'aide des découpages 10 et 10', des sortes de poignée.
Sur le dessin, on a donné à la boîte une forme cubique mais il va de soi que les faces opposées 1, 1' et 2, 2'pourraient être inégales. De même, au lieu d'avoir des segments 7 et 7a qui se coupent en 8 sur l'arête supérieure, on pourrait avoir des segments inclinés 1 1 et 1 la symétriques mais ne se coupant pas sur l'arête supérieure (fig. 5). Dans ce cas, bien entendu, les segments 12 et 12a, ménagés sur chacun des rabats correspondants 3 et 3', doivent être symétriques des segments 1 1 et 1 la par rapport à l'arête supérieure des faces en question.
Chaque rabat supérieur 3, 3' et/ou 4, 4', au lieu d'avoir une surface égale à la moitié de la face supérieure de la boîte de la fig. 1, pourrait avoir une surface égale à cette face. On pourrait aussi donner aux découpages 10, 10' une forme différente d'un quadrilatère, par exemple un arc de cercle, etc.
Multipurpose container

In fig. 1, there is shown a rectangular blank intended to form the container by folding and gluing. Preferably, this plane is made of cardboard comprising two layers glued to one another. Using a machine, orthogonal straight lines constituting the edges of a first container to be obtained are hollowed out on a half-thickness of the blank, so as to form four side faces 1, 1 ', 2 and 2', four extensions or upper flaps 3, 3 'and 4, 4' and four lower flaps or extensions 5, 5 'and 6, 6'.
On each of the opposite faces 1 and 1 ', we trace (at most on half the thickness of the blank so as not to affect its strength) two straight lines 7, 7a starting from the top of the two lower angles of the face and intersecting in the middle 8 from the top side. These straight lines are extended at 9 and 9a on each of the corresponding upper flaps 3 and 3 '.
On the other hand, on each of the other upper flaps 4 and 4 ', three of the sides of a quadrilateral 10, for example a trapezoid, are cut out, the fourth side being indented.
By folding the blank along the sides of the rectangular or square faces 1, 1 ', 2 and 2', a right parallelepipedal box is obtained as shown in FIG. 2, taking care however to first fold the extensions 3 and 3 ', the extensions 4 and 4' then folded back forming the actual cover of the box.
This box can be used, for example, to transport goods from the manufacturer to the retailer. The latter then empties the box of its contents, folds the extensions 3 and 3 'to apply them against the interior surface of the faces 1 and 1', so that the lines 9 and 9a coincide with the lines 7 and 7a (fig. 4). By exerting a traction, in the direction of the arrows F on the mediums 8 of the upper sides of the faces 1, 1 ', said faces are folded along the edges 7 and 7a, while the faces 2 and 2' which were parallel, approach one another at their upper end.
A shopping bag is thus obtained (fig. 3) which can be held in the hand by the flaps 4 and 4 'which substantially extend the faces 2 and 2' and form, using the cutouts 10 and 10 ', kinds of handles. .
In the drawing, we gave the box a cubic shape, but it goes without saying that the opposite faces 1, 1 'and 2, 2' could be unequal. Likewise, instead of having segments 7 and 7a which intersect at 8 on the upper edge, we could have inclined segments 1 1 and 1 la symmetrical but not intersecting on the upper edge (fig. 5 ). In this case, of course, the segments 12 and 12a, provided on each of the corresponding flaps 3 and 3 ', must be symmetrical to the segments 1 1 and 1 la with respect to the upper edge of the faces in question.
Each upper flap 3, 3 'and / or 4, 4', instead of having an area equal to half of the upper face of the box of FIG. 1, could have an area equal to this face. The cutouts 10, 10 'could also be given a shape other than a quadrilateral, for example an arc of a circle, etc.
