Kitchen machine In kitchen machines for chopping or grinding food and luxury foods and for mixing, knife heads are used which are driven at a relatively high speed while stirring,
Kneading and swinging or beating conditions should often be used at considerably lower speeds and other devices must be used instead of the cutter heads in order to achieve the desired effect. This difference in the operating mode has led to the development of electrical handsets for purposes requiring low rotational speeds, in which one is for manual use:
designed drive part, an electric motor can drive two working shafts arranged transversely to the motor shaft via a reduction gear, to which drive part replaceable working devices for stirring, kneading, beating, etc. can be connected.
In use, such an apparatus is held by hand on the drive part over the vessel containing the food mass to be processed, so that the working device is immersed in the food mass.
In the case of such apparatus, however, it is again seen as a disadvantage that they are unsuitable for comminuting, grinding and mixing due to the speed of rotation being excessively reduced by the reduction gear and, if a cutter head is attached, too dangerous for the floating handling described would be.
The present invention seeks to remedy these disadvantages and is characterized in that the motor shaft carries the grinding knife of a coffee grinder at one end, the container of which is removable from the housing of the drive part, while the front side of the housing opposite the grinding knives serves as a base for the drive part trained aest.
The invention will then be explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows a kitchen appliance assembled as a mixer in partial axial configuration.
Fig. 2 is a schematic representation of the driving part of the food processor when used as a coffee grinder, and Fig. 3 is a schematic illustration of the driving part of the food processor when used as a hand mixer.
The housing 1 of the electric motor 2 containing the drive part has a handle 3 with a rotary switch knob 4 of a three-stage switch 5 protruding therefrom.
On one motor side of the motor shaft 6, a reduction gear 7 is installed in the housing 1, which drives two working shafts arranged transversely to the motor shaft 6 via a worm and a worm wheel (not shown), of which only the one with 8 is shown and on which interchangeable tools for stirring, kneading,
Hitting etc. can be connected. On the other side of the motor, the motor shaft 6 extends out of the housing 1 and carries on its protruding end 9 the grinding knife 10 of a coffee mill, the container 11 (Fig. 2) of which can be plugged onto the housing 1,
by rotating the grinding knives 10 in a shell 12 attached to the housing 1, behind the edge of which the container 11 with its thickened edge 13 snaps. When the coffee grinder is not in use, the container 11: is replaced by a dirt cover 14 which, in the same way as the container 11, over the bowl 12:
is plugged. The container 11 and the protective cover 14 each have a lateral nose 15, with which a in. The axial direction of the motor shaft 6 on the housing 1 protruding contact pusher 16 is displaced into .das the housing 1 and thereby interrupt the power supply line 17.
the .safety contact closes. The outside of the housing 1 facing away from the grinding knives 10 is designed as a standing surface 19 for the drive part. Air passage openings 21 are provided in its base plate 20. Between the motor 2 and the grinding knives 10 is on the
Motor shaft 6 in the opening 22 of an inner partition wall 23 of the housing 1, a fan wheel 24 is arranged and between this and the Mahknessern 10 air passage openings 23 are vorgese hen in the housing wall to allow the electric motor 2 cooling air flow, which through the openings 21 enters and exits through the openings 25.
Instead of the protective cover 14 or the container 11 of the coffee grinder, a mixer rod 26 can be plugged onto the housing 1 in the same way by means of a base 27, the shaft 29 mounted in the tube 28 of the mixer rod 26 with two laterally over the grinding knife 10 of the coffee grinder engaging coupling fingers 30 is coupled to the motor shaft 6.
At the end facing away from the grinding knives 10, a protective head 31 with three fingers 32 is attached to the tube 28 of the mixer rod 26, from which the end of the shaft 29 protrudes. Interchangeable tools such. B. knives or Ouirlplatten be attached.
There is also the possibility of attaching a coffee grinder or hammer mill 33 with a larger capacity than the container 11 to this shaft end. The fingers 32 grip into corresponding openings in the cover 34 of the hammer mill, while the grinding knives 35 by means of the hollow pin 36 with the.
End of the mixer shaft 29 are coupled. It is thus possible, the hammer mill 33 with the engine speed of z. B. run 25,000 Tiimin.
Another possible application of the drive part is to increase the speed of the working shafts reduced by the reduction gear 7 by means of a transmission gear to a certain extent for certain purposes.
For this purpose, a closed attachment 42, 50 is detachably attached or otherwise attached to a vessel 41 containing the edible mass 40 to be processed, which practically closes the vessel 4.1 upward like a lid. This essay 42,
50 has in its closed interior 43 a transmission gear 44 with a downwardly exiting, vertical cutter head shaft 45 arranged in the axis of the vessel 41. The cutter head 46 is displaceable on the cutter head shaft 45 into an upper and a lower working position.
On the upper side, the attachment 42 forms a trough-shaped bed 47 for partially receiving the housing 1 of the drive part. The shaft journal 48 of the transmission, which protrudes from the bed 47, is coupled to the one working shaft 8 by plugging it in. To improve the stability of the vessel 41, its lower edge is provided with a rubber ring 49 or the like.
In summary, it results, on the one hand, directly with the engine speed of, for example, about 25,000 T,
! min with the container 11 of the coffee grinder or the mixer rod 26 and the beater mill 33 or on the other hand via the reduction gear with a maximum number of revolutions of about 1000 T / min by means of a plug-in mixer or on the attachment 42
50 set drive unit by means of the transmission gear with a maximum speed of about 6500 T / min for mixing in vessel 41 can be worked.
From this maximum speed, the manual switch 4 can be used to switch down to two lower speeds. This means that practically all needs for stirring, kneading, vibrating, beating, grinding and mixing are met.
