Image projector with slide magazine The invention relates to an image projector with a slide magazine that can be displaced parallel to the optical axis of the lens, from which the slides are alternately transferred into the image window and returned to the magazine by a manually operated slide.
Projectors with one or two magazines equipped with transport springs are already known in which the slides are advanced by a mechanism that acts under interrupted who the. There are also devices known in which the magazine has to be advanced by one frame distance by means of a special translation, whereupon the slide is introduced into the picture window by a further movement (American patent specification No. 2724989). In other known devices of this type, the slides are transferred from alternately by the simple movement of a manual slide in the image window of the projector.
When the slide moves back, the magazine is advanced by a slide distance by means of a drive member with curved guides. However, such devices are complicated, difficult to manufacture, and the cause of frequent malfunctions.
The projector according to the invention is characterized in that a pivotable thumb is arranged on the slide, which is pressed by a spring into a position inclined to the direction of passage of the slide through the magazine and which at the beginning of the insertion movement of the slide by the pressure of its front side surface on an intermediate wall of the magazine this moves a slide distance, whereupon the thumb, after it has been guided through a rounded edge of its rear side surface along an intermediate wall of the magazine in the position parallel to the direction of movement of the slide, the slide over a guide track in the image window of the projector introduces.
An embodiment of the projector according to the invention is shown in the accompanying drawings.
1 is an end view of the slide changing device in the device.
Fig. 2 is an enlarged view of the slide end with the thumb for introducing the Diaposi tive into the picture window.
3 is an enlarged plan view of the slide end, partially in section.
4 is a plan view of the slide changing device, with the slide guide, the slide and thumb, in the position before a slide is introduced into the guide path to the image window and before the magazine is advanced.
Fig. 5 is a view of the same device as a slide is inserted into the image window of the projector.
In the slide changing device shown in FIG. 1, the guide track 1 made of sheet metal is arranged in the projector housing. This Füh approximate track is used to insert the slide 2 into the image window 3, through which a light beam in the projector passes. Perpendicular to the guide track 1 and parallel to the optical axis of the lens of the projector is a sheet metal Herge provided holder 4 for the Herge made of a plastic magazine 5, which can slide freely in the holder 4.
A number of slides 2 is inserted into the magazine 5, and they are held in this by means of the part of the magazine 5 forming intermediate walls 6 in a parallel direction. When changing, the slide 2 is pushed out of the magazine and introduced via the guide track 1 into the image window 3 and into the light beam. After the projection he made, the slide 2 is returned to the magazine 5.
The slide change takes place by means of a mechanism (FIGS. 2 and 3), which consists of a slide over 7, which is provided with a thumb 8. This thumb is pivoted around the pin 10 in a section of the slide 7 by means of a spring 9. At one end of the thumb 8 there is a projection 8a which limits the scb, venkungen of the thumb and at the same time serves as a support when the magazine 5 is advanced.
The second end of the thumb 8 has a rounded edge 8b, an edge 8d and a support surface 8e through which the slide 2 is inserted over the guide track 1. The edge 8d is inclined at an angle to the direction of advance of the slide 7. After the magazine 5 has been advanced in the direction of the arrow X (FIG. 5) by one slide distance, the thumb is pivoted out by pressing the edge 8d on the partition 6 (FIG. 4) so that when the slide 7 is further advanced, the slide over the Guide track (Fig. 5) is inserted.
The slide about 7 is moved in the leadership of the holder 4 of the magazine 5 attached head piece 11. In the head piece 11 also moves a rod 12 which is connected to the slide 7 by the control member 13 operated by hand. The second end of the rod 12 is provided with a hook 14 for the purpose of returning the slide 2 into the magazine 5. At the bottom in the opening of the head piece 11 a pawl is mounted (FIG. 1) which consists of a ball 15 which is under pressure from a helical spring 16. The opening with the spring 16 is closed by a screw 17. The ball 15 falls into a number of depressions in the side wall of the magazine 5.
The operation of the slide changer described is as follows: When the manual control member 13 moves in the direction of the arrow L according to FIGS. 1 and 4, the front side surface 8d abuts the edge of the partition 6 and it moves the magazine 5 in the direction of the Arrow X by the distance of a slide 2. The magazine 5 is locked in this position by the ball 15, which falls into a recess in the wall of the magazine.
During the further movement of the slide 7, the rounded edge 8b of the thumb 8 abuts another partition of the magazine, so that the thumb 8 is pivoted out at an angle α into the position indicated in FIG. 5 parallel to the slide. The further movement of the slide 7 guides the slide via the guide track 1 into the image window 3 in the projector. In the reverse movement of the hand control organ 13 or the slide 7 in the direction of the Pfei les P, the slide 2 is returned through the hook 14 into the magazine 5.
As a result, the Dau men 8 of the slide 7 is pushed away from engagement along the partition wall of the magazine 5, and it is automatically pivoted by the spring 9 into the position indicated in Fig. 4, after which the device is back to feed another slide in the Light beam of the projector is prepared.
