Dispositif d'attache à encliquetage pour bracelets destinés aux montres Le dispositif d'attache, objet de la présente inven tion, concerne les bracelets destinés, aux montres.
Ce dispositif d'attache à encliquetage, permettant le montage et le démontage d'un bracelet sur une montre, est caractérisé en ce que dans chacune des extrémités du corps du bracelet est incluse une petite cage métallique qui forme une caissette porteuse d'une languette repliée en dedans et venant, par effet élastique, verrouiller des embouts fixés aux extré mités d'un cordonnet lorsque ceux-ci, après avoir fait fléchir ladite languette, ont permis à celle-ci de revenir à sa position normale de repos, un petit ori fice étant ménagé dans le bracelet et dans la caisr sette, au droit de cette languette,
pour permettre d'exercer sur elle, de l'extérieur et au moyen d'une fine tige, telle qu'une épingle, une poussée assurant la libération des deux embouts, donc la dépose du cordonnet.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'invention.
Les fig. 1 et 2 représentent, respectivement de face et en coupe suivant 2-2 de la fig. 1, la caissette découpée, mais non encore formée.
Les fig. 3 et 4 sont deux vues analogues aux précédentes après repliement de la languette.
Les fig. 5 et 6 sont deux vues encore analogues mais après formation de la caissette.
La fig. 7 est une vue par bout de ladite caissette du côté de la boucle formée par la languette.
La fig. 8 représente le cordonnet avec ses deux embouts d'extrémité.
Les fig. 9 et 10 représentent, à échelle très agran die, respectivement de face et de profil, la caissette mise en place dans l'extrémité d'une patte de brace let, le cordonnet étant placé en position pour sa pose. Les fig. 11 et 12 sont des vues analogues aux deux précédentes, en cours de pose du cordonnet, immédiatement avant qu'il soit verrouillé.
Les fig. 13 et 14 sont deux vues, encore identi ques aux précédentes, mais après verrouillage du cor donnet.
Les fig. 15 et 16 sont deux vues correspondant aux fig. 13 et 14, mais en position de dépose du cordonnet.
Comme le représentent les fig. 1 et 2, la cais sette A est obtenue par découpage à plat dans un flanc et comporte un prolongement 2 formant la lan guette. Dans le prolongement de cette languette, le fond est repoussé pour former une dépression 3. Les parois externes comportent un décochement 4. La languette 2 présente à son extrémité deux parties en cochées. 5 constituant les becs de verrouillage.
La première opération consiste à replier cette languette, en la cambrant, de sorte qu'elle forme une boucle 6 et que ses becs de verrouillage 5 se trouvent placés en regard de la dépression 3.
Ultérieurement, les parties latérales de cette lan guette sont repliées sur elles-mêmes pour venir recou vrir la languette et constituer un canal 7 à profil sen siblement elliptique. Les, parties encochées. 4 délimi tent alors un orifice 8 situé au droit de l'extrémité de la languette.
En ce qui concerne le cordonnet 9, il est porteur, à chacune de ses extrémités, par sertissage, d'un em bout cylindrique 11 dont l'extrémité se termine par une partie 12 en forme de cône séparée de la partie cylindrique 11 par une gorge 13.
Le montage proprement dit du bracelet s'effectue comme suit Un lien 14 est passé dans la boucle 6 que forme la languette 2 et est fixé, dans le corps de la patte 15, la caissette se trouvant ainsi fixée et complète ment dissimulée à l'intérieur de ladite patte.
Pour poser le cordonnet, il suffit, après l'avoir engagé dans un des gonds de la montre, d'en rame ner côte à côte les deux embouts, de les présenter devant le débouché du canal 7 que forme la cais sette (fig. 9 et 10) et de les y introduire. En ce fai sant, les extrémités coniques 12 desdits embouts font fléchir la languette 2 en la repoussant en direction du fond de la caissette (fig. 11 et 12).
Lorsque la gorge 13 desdits embouts vient se présenter au droit des encoches ou becs 5 de la languette, celle-ci est libérée et, par son élasticité propre, revient en posi tion en faisant plonger lesdits becs 5 dans ladite gorge 13 (fig. 13 et 14). Le cordonnet se trouve ainsi posé et solidement maintenu en place sans aucun risque de dégagement intempestif.
Un petit trou 16 est pratiqué dans la partie de la patte 15 recouvrant la caissette, au droit de celui 8 que comporte ladite caissette.
Pour permettre la dépose du cordonnet, il suf fit d'introduire au travers de ces orifices 16 et 8 une fine tige 17 telle qu'une branche d'épingle à che veux et de la pousser dans la direction de la flèche (fig. 16). Cette tige 17 prend ainsi appui sur l'extré mité de la languette 2 et la repousse en dégageant ses encoches 5 de la gorge 13 des embouts. Le cordon net est ainsi déverrouillé et l'on peut librement le retirer.
Ce dispositif d'attache peut être fabriqué en deux opérations indépendantes l'une de l'autre à savoir 1) montage du bracelet proprement dit; 2) pose du cordonnet.
La pose et la dépose du cordonnet sont obtenues par l'enclenchement, pour la pose, et la séparation, pour la dépose, des deux parties constitutives du dis positif.
Les, avantages de ce nouveau montage sont évi dents, tant pour le fabricant, que pour le bijoutier et pour l'usager.
En effet, le fabricant peut comme exposé ci- dessus, fabriquer complètement le bracelet et ne l'équiper du cordonnet qu'au moment de la vente.
Pour le bijoutier, il y a très grande facilité et rapi dité de montage sur la montre de la cliente, sans risque, si le bijoutier s'est trompé, que le bracelet soit perdu, ce qui est le cas de certains systèmes qui, une fois montés, ne sont plus démontables. Enfin, pour l'usager, la pose et la dépose instan tanées du cordonnet permettent de disposer de plu sieurs bracelets, pour une même montre et de les changer pour les assortir à la toilette.
Ce dispositif d'attache présente, en outre, l'avan tage de ne comporter aucune partie métallique visible et de ne nécessiter, en conséquence, l'intervention d'aucun cache, ni passant.
Il permet la désolidarisation totale du cordonnet par ses deux extrémités et est évidemment applicable aussi bien aux bracelets à longue patte qu'à ceux à courte patte.

This snap-in fastening device, allowing the assembly and disassembly of a bracelet on a watch, is characterized in that in each end of the body of the bracelet is included a small metal cage which forms a box carrying a tongue folded inwards and coming, by elastic effect, to lock end pieces fixed to the ends of a cord when these, after having bent said tongue, have allowed it to return to its normal rest position, a small opening being provided in the bracelet and in the case, to the right of this tab,
to allow to exert on it, from the outside and by means of a thin rod, such as a pin, a thrust ensuring the release of the two end pieces, therefore the removal of the cord.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, one embodiment of the invention.
Figs. 1 and 2 show, respectively from the front and in section along 2-2 of FIG. 1, the box cut, but not yet formed.
Figs. 3 and 4 are two views similar to the previous ones after folding back the tongue.
Figs. 5 and 6 are two views which are still similar but after formation of the box.
Fig. 7 is an end view of said box from the side of the loop formed by the tongue.
Fig. 8 represents the cord with its two end pieces.
Figs. 9 and 10 show, on a very agran die scale, respectively from the front and in profile, the box placed in the end of a strap lug, the cord being placed in position for its installation. Figs. 11 and 12 are views similar to the previous two, during installation of the cord, immediately before it is locked.
Figs. 13 and 14 are two views, still identical to the previous ones, but after locking the horn.
Figs. 15 and 16 are two views corresponding to FIGS. 13 and 14, but in the cord removal position.
As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the box A is obtained by cutting flat in a sidewall and has an extension 2 forming the lan watch. In the extension of this tongue, the base is pushed back to form a depression 3. The outer walls have an indentation 4. The tongue 2 has at its end two notched parts. 5 constituting the locking beaks.
The first operation consists in folding this tongue back, by arching it, so that it forms a loop 6 and that its locking jaws 5 are placed opposite the depression 3.
Subsequently, the lateral parts of this watch tab are folded back on themselves to cover the tab and form a channel 7 with a substantially elliptical profile. The notched parts. 4 then delimits an orifice 8 located to the right of the end of the tongue.
As regards the cord 9, it carries, at each of its ends, by crimping, a cylindrical end 11 whose end ends in a part 12 in the form of a cone separated from the cylindrical part 11 by a throat 13.
The actual assembly of the bracelet is carried out as follows A link 14 is passed through the loop 6 formed by the tongue 2 and is fixed in the body of the tab 15, the box being thus fixed and completely concealed from the inside of said tab.
To install the cord, it suffices, after having engaged it in one of the watch hinges, to line the two end pieces side by side, to present them in front of the outlet of channel 7 formed by the case (fig. 9 and 10) and insert them there. In doing so, the conical ends 12 of said end pieces bend the tongue 2 by pushing it back towards the bottom of the box (fig. 11 and 12).
When the groove 13 of said end pieces comes in line with the notches or nozzles 5 of the tongue, the latter is released and, by its inherent elasticity, returns to position by plunging said nozzles 5 into said groove 13 (fig. 13). and 14). The cord is thus placed and securely held in place without any risk of untimely release.
A small hole 16 is made in the part of the tab 15 covering the box, in line with that 8 which the said box comprises.
To allow the removal of the cord, it suffices to introduce through these holes 16 and 8 a thin rod 17 such as a branch of a hairpin and to push it in the direction of the arrow (fig. 16 ). This rod 17 thus bears on the end of the tongue 2 and pushes it back by releasing its notches 5 from the groove 13 of the end pieces. The net cord is thus unlocked and can be freely removed.
This fastening device can be manufactured in two operations independent of each other, namely 1) mounting the bracelet itself; 2) laying the cord.
The installation and the removal of the cord are obtained by the engagement, for the installation, and the separation, for the removal, of the two constituent parts of the device.
The advantages of this new arrangement are obvious, both for the manufacturer, for the jeweler and for the user.
In fact, the manufacturer can, as explained above, completely manufacture the bracelet and only equip it with the cord at the time of sale.
For the jeweler, it is very easy and quick to mount on the client's watch, without risk, if the jeweler has made a mistake, that the bracelet is lost, which is the case with certain systems which, a once assembled, cannot be dismantled. Finally, for the user, the instantaneous fitting and removal of the cord makes it possible to have several bracelets for the same watch and to change them to match them to the toilet.
This fastening device also has the advantage of not having any visible metal part and consequently of not requiring the intervention of any cover or loop.
It allows the complete detachment of the cord by its two ends and is obviously applicable both to bracelets with a long leg and to those with a short leg.
