Induction motor with at least one stator part with a flat stator surface and a linearly movable member along the stator surface is provided with coils,
to generate two stator fields, which move from each end of the stator part inwards towards its center.
One such induction motor is available from Switzerland, for example. Patent No. 333675 became known. According to an embodiment indicated in this patent specification, the linearly movable member has rollers or wheels running on rails.
In the induction motor according to the present application, however, the stator part is provided with two longitudinal slots, the distance between the outer edges of the same being equal to the width of the linearly movable member in order to keep the linearly movable member guided in the horizontal direction.
The invention also relates to the use of the induction motor according to the invention in a loom for generating the Schützenbewe supply, using a rotating mechanism which is operated step by step in synchronism with the shuttle to form the shed and to beat up the fabric. Means are provided which are effective when the shooter reaches the contactor box in order to use the energy of the contactor to generate the step actuation of the rotating mechanism.
Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows an arrangement for guiding the shooter in the horizontal direction. 2 and 3 show schematic side elevations of a loom without a reed comb.
Fig. 4 shows a plan view of the means for shed formation and for beating, as they are used in the loom according to FIGS.
Fig. 5 shows the arrangement of the stator parts and the protection in detail.
Fig. 6 and 7 show two other Ausführungsfor men to drive the loom shown in Figs. 2 and 3, the energy of the protection Ge is made use.
In Fig. 5, 50 and 51 are two stator parts. These stator parts are made of iron sheets that extend in the direction of movement of the shooter. Grooves 52 and 53 extend over the entire length of each stator part in order to achieve guidance of the linearly movable organ 57 in the horizontal direction, as will be described below. 54 and 55 are coils wound in slots 56 of the stator parts 50, 51.
The coils are fed from a three-phase network and generate two stator fields that move inwards from each end of the stator part towards its center. The moving member consists of a strip 57 made of conductive non-ferrous material, to which a housing 58 is attached from nichtmagneti Shem material, which contains the shot coils shown at 59 ver simply. The Ge housing is provided with an eye through which the thread runs off the weft bobbin in the usual way.
A very important property of the linearly movable organ becomes apparent when its leadership is viewed in the horizontal direction. Usually, the horizontal passage of the shooter is guided in such a way that it is shot against a curved reed comb and held on the comb during its movement, firstly due to the centrifugal force and secondly due to the forward movement of the ark, which takes place before the shooter his Movement has ended. This Ver drive can also be used when protecting, as has become known from the above patent.
The latest development in weaving technology has resulted in the manufacture of looms in which a comb is unnecessary. A movable organ or a shooter with a thin strip of conductive non-ferrous material can be used in such a loom, the moving organ being guided in the horizontal direction through two grooves in the stator parts.
According to FIG. 1, this is achieved in that two grooves 40 are arranged in the stator 41 in such a way that the outer edges of the grooves are aligned with the outer edges of the movable member 42 which is not made of iron. The flux density in the air gap between the grooves is smaller than laterally outside the grooves; every sideways movement of the movable organ causes the latter to come under the influence of a stronger field. This requires a state with a greater total expenditure of energy and generates a feedback force which returns the movable organ to the central position.
The projecting part carrying the weft coil, not shown in FIG. 1, should be made of non-magnetic material.
In the recently developed looms mentioned above, the number of moving parts is greatly reduced, and since the moving member or the shuttle moves at high speed, it is possible to use the energy of the shuttle to drive the remaining movable parts of the loom ver. If this is to be implemented, the mechanism driving the shooter is designed in such a way that it generates a slightly larger constant oscillation amplitude than is normally required for the desired cloth width, so that the shooter still has enough energy when he does the Contactor box reached to operate the rest of the drive mechanism. This latter drive mechanism can be either electrical or mechanical.
In Figs. 2, 3 and 4, an embodiment of a loom is shown. 2 and 3 show the simplest embodiment in a schematic Dar position. The movable member shown comprises a flat thin part 20 made of conductive non-ferrous material and a protruding part 21 made of non-magnetic material, which is designed to carry the weft spool 22, the thread passing through an eye in part 21, not shown. The part 20 of the guard is located between the upper and lower stator parts 23 and 24, respectively, during movement.
The shedding and beating of the fabric is effected by a large number of cam surfaces which are fixedly attached to a rotatable shaft and over the periphery of which the warp threads run. The rotating mechanism should move gradually in synchronism with the shooter. The cam surfaces shown comprise disks 25 with radially extending arms 26, 27 and 28, 29, the arms 26, 27 being on one disk, the arms 28, 29 on an adjacent disk.
The disks are all fixed on the shaft 30 and it is clear that a number of disks corresponding to the number of warp threads required are placed on the shaft 30, as shown in FIG. The circumference of the arms and the washers are grooved as shown in FIG. The grooves are used to guide the threads, as FIG. 2 shows. By using a thread, e.g. B. 31, is lifted by the arm 26, while the adjacent thread, e.g. B. 32, is passed over the disc, a compartment is formed. The thread 32 is shown in dashed lines in Fig. 2 to better show the formation of the tissue.
With the position of the cam surfaces as shown in FIG. 2, the shooter 22 sets the compartment in the manner shown. The cam surfaces turn 90 between the shots. The weft threads from previous wefts are shown at 33 and 34 in FIGS. 3 also shows a weft thread 35 which originates from a previous weft after the cam surfaces have made a 45 turn.
From this it can be seen that after completion of a rotation of 90 the thread 32 is in the raised position, since it runs over the end of the arm 29, while the thread 31 runs over the disc 25 and forms the lower limit of the compartment. The shedding described above is suitable for a smooth fabric, but it will be understood that other fabrics can be made by appropriate arrangement of the cam surfaces.
It can be seen from FIG. 3 that when the arm 28 is rotated a further 45, the weft thread 34 slides over the edge of the wall 36 and that this is repeated each time one of the arms passes the wall 36. The weft threads 34, 33 and 35 therefore slide one after the other under the wall 36, and the desired density of the fabric can be achieved through a suitable setting of the speed of rotation of the roller 37. It is clear that the speed of rotation of the shaft 30 on which the cam surfaces are mounted is considerably greater than that of the shaft on which the roller 37 is mounted.
In order to keep the tension in the warp threads nearly constant, it is proposed to arrange a second set of cam devices similar to device 25, with the corresponding disks of both sets being shifted 90 in phase. The warp threads run over corresponding cam devices of both sets so that the length of the warp threads is kept almost constant due to the phase position.
As can be seen from the above description, the moving parts of the loom consist of the shuttle, the sets of cam devices and the take-up roller 37. As already said, it is proposed to use the energy of the protection for generating the step actuation of the rotating Mechanis men, and there are shown in Figs. 6 and 7 two variants of such an arrangement.
Fig. 6 shows such a device to use the energy of the protection in a mechanical manner for driving ben of the loom. The two stator parts are again designated with 50 and 51 and the movable member with 57. In the contactor box 60, a braking mechanism is arranged which consists of an L-shaped member 61 which can move in the longitudinal direction in the contactor box 60.
The lower side of the member 61 is toothed at 63, the teeth 63 protruding from a slot in the bottom of the contactor box and meshing with a wheel 64 which can rotate on the shaft 65 and with it by means of a unidirectional (not shown) coupling is connected. In operation, the movable member occurs at the end of a shot in the shooter box and moves the member 61 to the right, compressing the spring and rotating the wheel 64. With the next shot, the organ 61 moves back into the position shown under the influence of the spring 62. The intermittent Drehbewe movement of the spindle 65 can be used to drive the rotating mechanism of the loom.
Another arrangement is shown in FIG. 7, in which the upper and lower stator parts and the contactor are again designated by 50, 51 and 57. In this case, a permanent magnet 70 is attached to the axis 71. The axis 71 can move in a bearing 72 on the rear wall of the contactor box 73, and a spring 74 is arranged between the magnet and the rear wall.
If the movable organ 57 enters the field of the permanent magnet, then a force is exerted on the magnet as a result of the effect between the permanent magnetic field and a field of eddy currents produced by induction in the non-ferrous metal part of the protection. This force tends to push the permanent magnet 70 and the axle 71 to the right.
The movement of the axis can be converted into an intermittent movement of the spindle 77 with the aid of teeth 75 angeord on the axis 70, which engage in a gear 76 which is rotatable on the spindle 77 and connected to it by means of a coupling acting in one direction is to be converted into movement in one direction. The spring 74 serves to bring the axis back into its starting position with the next shot.
It is clear that the invention is not limited to the construction shown in the drawing. For example, the cam surfaces need not be disks with aligned radial arms, but can be rhombic in shape.
