Durchflussmesser

Flow meter
The invention relates to a flow meter with a permanent magnetic coupling. In these couplings, the measuring element with one coupling half is located in the flow space, while the counter parts are separated from the flow space by a tight wall and magnetically connected to the first through the second coupling half. Such magnetic couplings are known for flow meters. The measuring element, e.g. B. a measuring blade is mounted similarly to the known flow meters with mechanical transmission to the counter. It has been shown that the magnetic coupling with conventional storage influences the lower measuring accuracy in an unfavorable sense.
In the training according to the invention, which is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the drawing, this deficiency is eliminated.
The measuring blade 1 with the magnet 2, which is located in the flow space 7, is separated from the magnet 4 with the pinion 5 by a tight wall 3.
The measuring blade 1 and the pinion 5 each have a bore on the sides facing the magnets 2 and 4, which is designed as a thrust bearing. The axis 6 is firmly and tightly connected to the partition 3, the diameter of the thrust bearing is dimensioned so that no other fixed points of contact or friction with the bore of the measuring blade 1 and the pinion 5 are possible, except at the two ends designed as thrust bearings . The magnets in turn are magnetized coaxially, for example, with two or more poles. By closing the lines of force, they each pull the measuring blade 1 and the pinion 5 onto their journal bearing tip and at the same time take over the centering. The magnets can also be fitted with a known magnetic protector rotating with it, e.g. B. be provided with shielding sleeves made of ferromagnetic sheet metal.
The magnetic coupling also only needs to have a permanent magnet, the other half of the coupling being made of a material that responds to magnetic lines of force. This storage makes it possible to increase the lower accuracy limit of flow meters with magnetic coupling. The magnetic lines of force not only transfer the torque, but also cause it to sit on the thrust bearings and center the driving and driven parts on each other. As a result, since there are only two fixed points of contact, the permanent magnets can be dimensioned so strong that the coupling cannot tear off under higher loads.
