Motor device with reciprocating motion The present invention relates to a motor device with reciprocating motion, comprising two jacks with fluid under pressure and means kinematic connection allowing said jacks to act in opposition to the same arbm in order to give it an alternative angular displacement .
When such a device is intended to be installed, for example, outdoors or, more generally, in an ambient environment liable to have harmful effects on it , it is interesting to house the whole of the device in an entirely closed space, suitable to to protect its organs, against the aforementioned effects.
However, if the power take-off from from the device is effected by means of a member such as a piston rod moving by translation, the strokes of this member towards the interior of the device necessarily end up dragging bodies. foreign, unwanted from outside, while part of the rod is exposed to the risk of corrosion.
It would also be the same for all intermediate elements , of the device, racks, connecting rods, etc., which would come out < B> to the outside and which would be animated by an alternating translational movement.
The motor device with reciprocating motion which is the subject of the invention is characterized in that all the moving parts are enclosed in a housing from which only said shaft and the intended pipe fittings come out. to ensure the admission and evacuation of the motive fluid actuating said cylinders.
The appended drawing represents, to by way of example, several embodiments of the motor device which is the subject of the invention. Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section of the engine device with double cylinder constituting the first embodiment.
Fig. 2 is a cross section of a variant, taken along line 2-2 of FIG. 4, constituting the second form of execution.
Fig. 3 is a view similar, to in fig. 1 of another variant, constituting the third form, of execution, in which all of the hydraulic circuits have been shown schematically.
Fig. 4 is a section taken along line 4-4 of FIG. 2.
Fig. 5 is a section along the line 5-5 of in fig. 4.
Fig. 6 is a section taken along the line 6-6 of fig. 5, and fig. 7 is a section taken along the line 7-7 of fig. 6.
The driving device of the embodiments shown in the drawing comprises a block of steel 1 on which is attached a casing made of a to aluminum 2 alloy. In the block 1 are machined two parallel swings 3 and 4 which constitute the cylinders of two simple jacks effect whose pistons 6 and 5 are carried by racks 7 and 8. The racks 7 and 8 are arranged on either side of a pinion 9 with which they are engaged at two diametrically opposed points. The pinion 9 is fixed in rotation on a shaft 11 journalled on bearings 12 and 13 formed by elements of the housing 2.
Furthermore, the shaft 11 passes through the casing of the housing 2 in a stuffing box 14. The outer part 15 of the shaft 11 </ B > constitutes the power take-off of the device. The cylinders 3 and 4 communicate with the outside by lights, 16, respectively 17, which communicate with fittings 18 < / B> and 19 to which are fixed supply and purge pipes, not shown. The racks 7 and 8 are guided by slides 21, 22, formed by parts of the aluminum casing 2.
The supply and bleeding of the jacks 3 and 4 are carried out in such a way to simultaneously ensuring the sending, into one of the jacks, of the quantity of fluid necessary ensure rune, angular strokes of shaft 11, and evacuation, to from the other cylinder, of the same quantity , fluid. A switching device then ensures the reversal of the role of the two jacks, the second jack receiving, in its turn, the quantity of fluid necessary to ensure the reverse angular stroke of the 'shaft 11, while the first cylinder is, in its turn, purged of an equal quantity of fluid.
Due to the direct kinematic connection between the mobile assemblies of the cylinders provided by the common pinion 9, due to the equality of: the strokes of the cylinders, and due to the constancy of the sections of the cylinders, the sum of the variable capacities of the active compartments of said cylinders is constant, and the same is true of the free space inside the interior of the crankcase, which space is equal to </ B > the difference between, the volume of the hollow body including the interior spaces of the housing and the block, on the one hand, and the sum of the volumes of the two rack pistons of the pinion, of the interior part of </ B> the shaft 11 and the constant total capacity of the two cylinders, on the other hand.
Under these conditions, at the same temperature, and if the pistons 5 and 6 do not give rise to any leaks , the pressure in said free space is constant.
However, given; that leaks can, to in the long run, cause at least a partial filling of said free space by the working fluid and, given that temperature differences could then of cause a prohibitive increase in pressure in said free space, the device is completed by a valve allowing the pressurized fluid, possibly contained in the free space, to escape to the outside. In fig. 1, said valve is constituted by a valve 23, for example of plastic material, carried by a blade of spring 24, and which normally closes a light 25 passing through the casing of the casing 2.
If the pressure inside inside the housing 2 becomes greater than the force of the spring 24, le, -valve 23 < / B> lifts up and lets the pressurized fluid escape. On the other hand, even if the pressure inside the interior of the housing 2 becomes less than atmospheric pressure, the valve 23 prevents any penetration of impurities inside the crankcase.
The embodiment shown to in fig. 3 com takes a mechanism, shutter housed in the mass of block 1. This mechanism corresponds to the device described in Swiss patent No. 337379, entitled . Hydraulic self-locking device for two cylinders. The cylinder housed in the bore 3 is fed by a pipe 27 controlled by a non-return valve 28 pushed by a spring 28a. The purge is ensured by pipes 29 and 53, connected to a manifold (not shown), under the control of a valve < B> 31 submitted to action (fun spring 30.
Similarly, the jack housed in the bore 4 is supplied by a pipe 32, controlled by a non-return valve 33, pushed by a spring 33a and its bleeding is ensured by a pipe 34 and the pipe 53 connected to the manifold, under the control of a valve 35 subjected to the action of a spring 37.
Line 27 is controlled by a distributor 36 whose spool 38 is subject to the action of the press Zion reigning in the dmission pipe 39. The drawer 38 also carries a push rod 41 capable of lifting the valve 35 </ B > from its seat, before said drawer 38 has moved sufficiently to release the orifice 42 from the pipe 27.
In a similar manner, the pipe 32 feeds both the cylinder housed in the bore 4 is controlled by a distributor 44 whose spool 45 carries a push rod 46 capable of </ B> lift the pet 31 from its seat and & open the orifice 47 of the pipe 32, under the same conditions as described below above, with regard to distributor 36.
In addition, the two compartments, active of the cylinders 3 and 4 are provided with relief valves 48 and 49, calibrated by springs, 51 and 52, at a pressure greater than than the maximum service pressure envisaged, but sufficiently limited to eliminate any risk of deterioration of the mechanism by overpressure. These discharge valves open into the 53 return line to the nurse.
Operation is very simple: in the absence of any pressure in the mechanism, the four cla pets 28, 33, 31 and 35 rest on their seats, and the liquid locked in; the, cylinders 3 and 4 keep the assembly locked.
If, under these conditions, it is desired to move the mobile structure, for example in the direction of the arrow- che f of in fig. 3, it suffices to send liquid into the inlet pipe 39: this liquid first moves the spool 38, which opens the valve 35 and establishes communication between the pipes 39 and 27; the liquid lifts the valve 28 and acts on the piston 6 of the corresponding cylinder, which, by means of the kinematic connection formed by the pinion. 9, causes the displacement of the piston 5 which, the valve 35 being open, can discharge to the manifold , through lines 34 and 53, the liquid contained in cylinder 4.
When the displacement is completed, the liquid which ensured it is locked in the cylinder 3 by the closing of the valve 28, and so after.
If we now refer to fig. 4 to 7, we find, in particular, the inlet check valve 33 of cylinder 4 in fig. 6, the drawers 38 and 45 for controlling the admissions and purges in fig. 5, and the relief valves 48 and 49 in fig. 4. In all the figures, to designate the same components, the same reference indices have been used as in the diagram of the hydraulic circuits shown to in FIG. 3 and described above.
For reasons of construction and assembly, each relief valve, for example the valve 49, is constituted by a ball housed in a part 61 which includes the valve seat, and which is itself. even screwed in. a part 62 held in place in a bore 63 of block 1, by a threaded plug 64. The inner end of each of the pistons 5 and 6 has a transverse channel 65, in conjunction with longitudinal channels 66 which open out on the inner end face piston. Such an arrangement leads to a reduced size.
Thus, for an engine capable of providing a torque of 50 m / kg and working under a pressure of 400 kg / cm2, a square steel block of 100 </ B can be used. > mm side and 125 mm wide, fixed to an aluminum casing, 120 mm long.
