Pump with electric motor The invention relates to a pump with an electric motor, in which the pump cavity and the engine compartment are each arranged on one side of a common Be limiting wall, the engine compartment is filled with an electrically insulating, anti-corrosion and lubricating liquid at least in the area of the rotating parts is, and means are seen before, which carry the pressure of the liquid to be pumped on the liquid in the engine compartment.
In known pumps of this type, the two liquids touch each other in the areas of a passage of the motor with the pump ver binding drive shaft through the common loading boundary wall either directly or indirectly via a sealing liquid, in particular mercury. This transfers the pressure of the liquid to be pumped to the liquid in the engine compartment. It has also been proposed to arrange a membrane for pressure transmission between the two liquids. The two liquids are preferably in direct contact in a so-called calming room in order to prevent mixing.
It is also known to provide means which cause a rotation of the liquids in the area of contact and in this way an invertebrate, sharp separation. Furthermore, shaft bushings are known in which the sealing liquid rotates together with the adjacent liquid to be pumped.
Compared to these known designs, the pump according to the invention with an electric motor is characterized in that a drive shaft connecting the liquid-tight encapsulated motor to the pump is passed through the common boundary wall by means of a shaft seal, in which the liquid to be pumped and the liquid , with which the engine compartment is filled, do not touch each other either directly or indirectly via a sealing fluid, and that only mechanical means are provided,
to transfer the pressure of the fluid to the fluid in the engine compartment to fit.
Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a first exemplary embodiment, FIGS. 2, 3 and 4 each show a partial longitudinal section through a second, third and fourth exemplary embodiment.
The pump shown in Fig. 1 with an electric motor has a pump housing part 1 and a motor housing part 2, a pump rotor 3, a motor armature 4 and field windings 5. The interiors of the housing parts are formed by a partition 6, which has a bearing 7 and a lip seal Shaft seal 8 carries, separated from each other. In the area of this seal, the shaft is provided with a Be lay 9, the hardness of which is 5 to 10 on the Mohs scale. The intermediate wall has holes 10, in front of which an annular, corrugated membrane 11 is arranged.
The side facing the engine of the shaft seal is through a bore 12 with the engine compartment in connection, the with an electrically insulating, the corrosion prevention and lubricating liquid, for. B. transformer oil is filled. The other side of the shaft seal is exposed to the circulating liquid in the pump chamber.
The pressure of the liquid in the pump chamber that prevails on one side of the shaft seal is transmitted via the membrane and the bores 10 to the aforementioned liquid in the motor and through the bore 12 to the other side of the shaft seal. So there is the same pressure on both sides of the shaft seal, and there is practically no need for a fluid exchange between the pump chamber and the engine room. As a result, the requirements to be placed on the device are reduced, and the effectiveness of a given seal is increased.
FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the shaft seal in the form of a slip ring seal with slip rings 13 under spring pressure.
According to Figure 3, the sealing lips are connected to the membrane and axially displaceable ver on the shaft.
It is sufficient if the motor is only filled with liquid in the area of its rotating parts. For this purpose, as FIG. 4 shows, a tube 13 can be inserted in a liquid-tight manner between the end walls of the engine compartment, so that the rotor is located in this tube and the stator is outside it. Only the interior of the pipe and the spaces connected to it are then filled with the liquid in question, in particular the spaces adjacent to the membrane and the shaft seal on the side facing the engine. The stator lies dry and is air-cooled through the openings 14.
