Control device in a fully automatic washing machine The invention relates to a control device in a fully automatic washing machine, in particular one that is equipped with a pole-changing drive motor, in which the individual operations of the machine from releasing switching means, in particular contactors, by one of one Drive motor operated switch can be controlled.
In the known washing machine control devices of the above type, the changeover switch usually consists of numerous cam disks arranged next to one another on the drive shaft, which control one of the switching means or contactors according to the arrangement of the switching cams. Control devices have also become known in which said switch is ausgebil det as a switching disk, which is provided with several switching contacts arranged on different concentric tracks for the contactors of the machine.
All known control devices for washing machines have in common that the contactors for the individual operations are switched independently of one another, that is, are connected to one of the numerous switching contacts of the multiple switch via separately routed Lei lines.
The aim of the invention is to create a control device for fully automatic washing machines in which the numerous separately routed lines present in the known control devices are avoided and the control device is simplified by combining the switching means to be controlled into groups, that only two switching groups can be used.
The invention therefore relates to a control device in a fully automatic washing machine equipped in particular with a pole-changing drive motor, with a switch that controls the switching means for the individual operations and is actuated by a drive motor and consists in
that the switching means controlling the reversing washing operation on the one hand and the switching means controlling the spinning operation on the other hand are combined to form a switching group and are alternately switched on and off by a changeover switch controlled by a cam driven by the drive. In this way, the structure of the control is extremely simplified.
The changeover switch is advantageously designed as a spring-pronged switch, which closes one or the other of the contacts belonging to the two switching groups by contacting the circumference of a program disk evenly driven by the drive motor and provided with recesses according to the wash program.
In the case of a machine with a pole-changing drum drive motor, the switching groups are expediently combined in such a way that in one switching group a spin contactor switching the spin cycle winding of the drive motor and in the other switching group the wash cycle winding and water inlet valves switching contactors are installed, with both the centrifugal contactor and the wash cycle contactor each having one When the contactor is switched on, interrupt the line of the other vector group carries the interlocking contact.
Apart from the simplified structure of the control device, the changeover switch, which switches the two switching groups on and off alternately, becomes the disconnector by only preparing the power line of the latter when switching over to the new switching group, as this is only closed when the associated one Locking contact closes when the corresponding contactor drops. In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment example of the washing machine control device according to the invention is shown,
namely: Fig. 1 shows the electrical circuit diagram of the control device, Fig. 2 shows the drive device of the two-group control in a schematic representation and Fig. 3 shows the timing diagram of the switch controlling the switching means for the individual operations and of the drive holding contact.
In the washing machine control device shown, all the switching means of the machine that trigger the individual operations are combined into two switching groups I and 1I, which are alternately connected to the current-carrying phase R of the network by the changeover switch L1 according to its two switching positions:
In the switching group I, the centrifugal contactor S1 is installed, which has a total of five switching contacts Si marked with the indices a to e. etc. is provided. In switching group II there is contactor S2 for the wash cycle and the inlet valves switch contactor S3. Like the spin contactor S1, the wash cycle contactor S2 has five switching contacts, which in turn are denoted by the indices a to e.
Furthermore, a holding contact L2 for the drive motor ML is provided in the power supply line belonging to vector group II. The latter is connected to the switching group II via the contact Sib located on the spin contactor S1, provided that the spin contactor S1 is in its switched-off position.
When the spin contactor responds, the contact Sib switches the drive motor ML to the current-carrying phase R '; This ensures that the drive motor winding remains flowing through it during the entire program sequence.
The interlocking contacts S2 and Sia built into the two switching groups I, II only close the associated line when the relevant contactor of the other switching group has dropped out.
A switch W, which temporarily closes when the maximum water level is reached in the machine, is installed in the supply line leading to the wash cycle contactor S2, and a further contact switch 4 located on the wash cycle contactor is connected in parallel, when contactor S2 responds the line leading to the contactor S3 for the water inlet valves switches off and the water level switch W bypassed.
The spin cycle winding MS of the pole-changing drive motor of the drum of the washing machine is connected to the switching contacts Sie, Sid, Sie with the phases R on the spin contactor S1. S. T. of the network connected. Similarly, the wash cycle winding Mw of the drive motor and the heating H of the machine are connected to the network via the switching contacts See, S2d, See of the wash cycle contactor S2.
The lines S and T leading to the washing cycle winding Mw are interchanged by a reversing contact set R1, R2, R3, R4 driven by the drive, whereby the washing drum is reversely driven during the washing cycle, i.e. with a periodically changing direction of rotation.
As FIG. 2 shows, the changeover switch L1 is designed as a spring tongue switch which, by contacting the circumference of a drive motor ML evenly driven, with recesses a or cams provided according to the washing program, program disc b one or the other contacts K1 and K2 belonging to the two vector groups I, 1I to phase R.
In particular, the design is such that the program disc b sits firmly on a shaft c, which is positively connected to the shaft f driven by the drive motor ML via a friction clutch d and a transmission gear e. The reversing contact set R is also located on the shaft f.
On the shaft c carrying the program disk b, a control disk g is also arranged, which has a recess g1 on its circumference, by means of which it opens the otherwise closed drive holding contact L2 in the corresponding rotary position (off position).
By means of an arrow grip i arranged in front of the scale h labeled with the washing program, the shaft c can be adjusted as required with respect to the drive shaft f, so that it can be of different lengths by adjusting accordingly Have the wash and spin cycles set.
If the washing machine equipped with the control device described is to be started, the main switch Hs is first placed. Then the drive holding contact L2 is closed by turning the arrow handle i slightly to the right, which - as FIG. 3 shows - remains closed until shortly before the end of the entire program sequence.
At the same time, the changeover switch L1 is thereby brought into its upper switching position, in which it connects the switching group 1I to the R phase via the contact K2_. The current then runs from R via L1, L2, Sia, and S2b to contactor S3, whereby the water inlet ventüe are opened.
Since the switching contact Sib is closed here (contactor S1 is in the switch-off position), the drive motor ML also starts up at the same time.
As soon as there is enough water in the machine, i.e. the maximum water level is reached, the water level switch W responds, whereby the wash cycle contactor S2 is activated. As a result, the locking contact S2., Is opened and the switchover contact S2b is switched so that the water supply stops and the water level switch W is bridged at the same time. The wash cycle winding Mw and the heating of the motor are switched on.
The direction of rotation is periodically reversed by the reversing contact set R1, R2, R3 and R4. The machine washes.
When point A of the timing diagram (Fig. 3) is reached, the first washing process is ended. The changeover switch L1 jumps to the left, prepares the current path to contactor S1 and causes contactor S2 to drop out. The winding Mw and the heater H are switched off, the locking contact S2a closes, and the spin contactor Si picks up, so that the spin winding MS is live.
The machine spins, whereby the water in the washing drum is brought to the drain by the spinning effect and a siphon built into the machine, which eliminates the need for a special shut-off valve. The drive motor ML continues to run via the contact Slb which is now on the right, that is to say which is adjacent to R '.
If the program disc b reaches position B, the switch L1 jumps to the right, whereby the spin contactor S1 drops out and the locking contact Si is closed. The work game mentioned above: water inlet -washing follows. The above processes are repeated each time to switch the switch L1.
The last switching process shown in the diagram takes longer than the previous one and represents spin-dry as the last work step. During this spin process, the holding contact @ L2 opens without load. The spin-dry continues until finally the switch is switched back to contact K2 of switching group II. The spin contactor S1 drops out, and since switching group II has already been blocked by the previously opened holding contact L2, the washing program is thus ended.
