Ventilvorrichtung Zur Steuerung, z.
Valve device for control, e.g. B. of piston compressors, free-moving suction and pressure valves are often used, which are arranged in the cylinder head or between Zy cylinder and cylinder head of the compressor. The known valves of this type have circular valve plates made of alloy steel sheet of about 1.2 to 2.5 mm thick, which are loaded by a number of coil springs or spring steel sheets in the direction of the valve seat. These valves have only a short service life due to the hard impact of the valve plates in both directions.
The invention is based on the object of eliminating these deficiencies. It is that known valve device is improved, which consists of several Einzelven valves. In the known arrangements of this type, the individual valves are axially guided and loaded by a valve spring. These valves tend to get stuck because of their guidance and also to hit their seat hard and their stroke limitation.
In one embodiment, the cross-section of the holes in the valve seat part is smaller than that of the valve opening in the open state, so that the pressure on the valve disk is reduced at the moment of opening and the hard hitting of the valve on its stroke limit is to be avoided. As a result, however, the forces that move the valve are reduced, which in the existing Füh tion of the valve favors getting stuck. The hard impact on the valve seat is not eliminated by this training.
According to the invention, the valve bodies are now designed as circular platelets, the outer diameter of which is so much larger than the diameter of the circular inflow opening that the platelets do not hit the seat or the stroke limiter hard during operation. The mode of operation of these valves is based on the decrease in air pressure when the flow velocity increases in the area outside the inflow bore, which, according to Bernoulli, can be calculated on the basis of a constant sum of pressure and velocity levels.
Once the valve plate has reached a certain small stroke, the resulting pressure on the surface of the valve plate exposed to the flow becomes so low that, under certain circumstances, a force even occurs in the direction of the valve seat. In any event, the valve plate is braked or even brought to a standstill. Which of these possible cases occurs depends on the given inflow pressure and weight of the valve plate and the like. a.
from the inflow cross-section and from the outer diameter of the valve plate. The ratio of the outer plate diameter to the diameter of the inflow channel must be selected so that a sufficient damping force is created to prevent the lifted valve plate from hitting the lift limiting plate too hard.
When selecting the size ratios, the closing movement of the valve plate must also be considered, which should also not lead to the valve plate being placed too hard on the valve seat, but should make a valve spring superfluous as far as possible. The diameter ratio can be adjusted so that the flow forces acting on the plate result in low contact speeds on the valve seat. In order to achieve the most favorable movement conditions both when opening and when closing, a compromise is required between the most favorable diameter conditions in both directions of movement.
The design according to the invention first of all significantly increases the service life of the valves, because the stress on the valve elements is greatly reduced due to the low contact speeds. For the same reason, it is even possible to make the valve plates lighter, possibly even made of plastic, which advantageously results in lower inertia forces and makes them cheaper.
With an appropriate selection of the size ratios, valve springs can be dispensed with at all, which means a further reduction in the harmful mass forces and a simplification and cost-effectiveness of the valve.
The valve plates can be shaped in such a way that they practically only have line contact on their seats so that the valve opens when the pressure is equal on both sides of the plate. The platelets preferably rest only along their outer circumference, which means that the air pressure is effective over the entire surface before the platelet is lifted off, which prevents the valve movement from accelerating shortly after the platelet is lifted off the seat.
The valve plate is preferably positioned on the outer periphery by having the shape of a truncated conical jacket at least on the outer edge, the tip of which is on the side facing away from the seat. In this design, the passage area of the air in the valve gap is only slightly smaller inside than outside when the valve is raised, whereby the delay of the air in the gap is less than when the valve gap is formed by two parallel planes.
The damping conditions can therefore be influenced by the choice of the cone angle.
In a preferred embodiment according to the invention, the valve plates are formed aasgewölbt on their side facing away from the valve seat, wel che curvature in a coaxially arranged to the inflow bore in the stroke limiting plate, correspondingly large bore partially protrudes. As a result, the valve plates are secured against large lateral displacement and are precisely centered when they are raised. In the closed state, this shape results in less precise centering, but this has no harmful effect on the function.
After each lifting movement, the plate always falls back largely centrically on its seat.
The formation of the valve seat plate, the training and attachment of the stroke limiting plates and finally the cooling of the valve seat plate, wel che is made possible by the arrangement of the individual valves in a particularly favorable manner, are explained below with reference to the drawings of Ausfüh approximately examples of the invention.
1 shows the upper part of the cylinder and the cylinder head of a water-cooled compressor in section along the line 1-I of FIG. 2. FIG. 2 shows the suction and pressure valve partly in view and partly in section along the line II-11 of Fig. 1.
On a larger scale, FIG. 3 shows a detail from FIG. 1 and FIG. 4 shows a section along the line IV-IV of FIG. 2. In FIG. 5, a valve plate is shown on an even larger scale. 6 to 8 show in the same section guidance and on the same scale as FIGS. 3 and 4, a further embodiment.
The cylinder of the compressor is marked with 1, the cylinder head with 2, the inlet port of the cylinder head with 3, the outlet port with 4. The valve seat plate 5 is clamped on the outer circumference between cylinder 1 and cylinder head 2. It has a large number of suction valves 6 and pressure valves 7, which are spatially separated from one another on the cylinder head side by a circular sealing surface 8 or are connected to the inlet channel 3 and the outlet channel 4.
The suction valves 6 are formed by through bores 9 arranged inside the sealing surface 8 and the pressure valves 7 by through bores 10 arranged outside of said sealing surface 8, both of which are controlled by valve plates 11. Corresponding to the direction of flow of the medium, these valve plates are arranged below the valve seat plate 5 in the suction valves and above the pressure valves.
A circular stroke limiting plate 12 is arranged on the underside of the valve seat plate 5, whereas an annular stroke limiting plate 13 is provided on the upper side of the pressure valves. Both stroke limitation plates have bores 14 and 15 which are arranged coaxially with the through bores 9 and 10 and are smaller in diameter than the through bores.
The valve plates 11 are much larger in diameter than the through bores 9 or 10. On their side opposite the valve seat 16 (Fig. 5), the valve plate 11 has a bulge 17 which is higher than the distance between the valve seat plate 5 and the stroke limitation plate 12 or 13. The bulge 17 protrudes into the bores 14 or 15, even when the valve plate is seated at the bottom, that the valve plate can only be shifted slightly eccentrically to the side. Even with the greatest possible lateral displacement, the through hole 9 or 10 is closed by the valve plate 11.
The function of the individual valves is as follows: The air flow emerging from the through-hole initially lifts the valve plate a little. When the air flows out, the force acting on the plate is reduced by converting part of the pressure into speed. This goes so far that the valve plate can come to a standstill before it has touched the stroke limiter plate. In practice, the stroke available to the valve plate will be selected to be so large that the valve plate is still placed very gently on the stroke limiting plate even under unfavorable operating conditions of the compressor.
The outer edge 18 of the Ventilplätt Chens 11 is inclined conically, the cone angle is denoted by 19 (Fig. 5). Since the outflow and pressure conditions on the valve plate are dependent on this cone angle 19, the braking force acting on the valve plate can be determined by selecting this angle accordingly.
The raised valve plate is centered by the bulge 17 in the bore 15 of the stroke limiting plate, for which purpose the inner end of the bore 15 (or 14) has a depression 20 corresponding to the curvature of the valve plate resting on it. The raised Ventilplätt chen is centered in this countersink and therefore subsequently fall centered on the valve seat again. Here, a certain inclination of the valve plate, as shown in dashed lines in Fig. 5 and denoted by 11 ', is not a disadvantage.
The lower stroke limitation plate 12 is centered on the valve seat plate 5 by means of a pin 21 and an outer projection 22 and is arranged within the clamping surfaces 29 and 30 (FIGS. 3, 4) of the valve seat plate 5. The external pressure valves 7 are connected through recesses 38 in the cylinder 1 with its interior. Be the attachment of the stroke limiter plate 12 takes place, for. B.
by means of three screws 23 passing through the valve seat plate 5, spacer rings 24 being inserted between the stroke limitation plate 12 and the valve seat plate 5 (FIG. 4). In a similar way, the upper stroke limiting plate 13, which consists of a circular ring, is attached to the valve seat plate 5 by means of, for example, likewise three screws 25 and spacer rings 26. In this case, the screw nuts 27 are sunk into recesses 28.
The manufacture of the valve seat plate is very simple due to the resulting simple shape. The stroke limiting plates 12 and 13 are not hardened and not ground, but only drilled ge. Milling work is not required here.
For better cooling of the external pressure valves -are provided in the valve seat plate 5 from the outside inwardly extending bores 31, which are each between two axial Durchgangsbohrun gene 10 (Fig. 1, 3). Each of the bores 31 is connected to a cooling water channel 32 which passes through the valve seat plate 5 and connects the cooling water spaces 33 and 34 of the cylinder and the cylinder head.
The bores 31 are closed on the outside by plugs 35, and the clamping surfaces 29 and 30 are sealed by means of seals 36 and 37 placed in between.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, the stroke limiting plate 12 'for the suction valve plate 11 and on the outer side the stroke limiting plate 13 for the pressure valve plate not provided is on the inside of the valve seat plate 5. The stroke limiting plate 12 'is designed with the same outer diameter as the valve seat plate 5 and clamped together with this between cylinder 1 and cylinder head 2.
As a result, better cooling of the stroke limiter plate is achieved compared to the previous version, whereby solid deposits on the same, which can affect the function of the valves, are avoided from the lubricating oil and impurities in the air. The annular, in the outer diameter held much smaller stroke limiting plate 13 is fastened to the valve seat plate 5 by means of a number of spacer rings 26 and through bolts 40 be.
The through bolts 40 also hold the valve seat plate and the stroke limiter plate 12 'together regardless of the clamping between Zy cylinder head and cylinder, which makes the entire valve device into an easy to remove and install ble and .self easy to assemble unit. Cooling water flows through channels 32 from the cylinder 1 to the cylinder head 2, both the valve seat plate 5 and the stroke limiting plate 12 'being intensively cooled.
To increase the cooling effect, the valve seat plate 5 has sack-shaped cooling water bores 31, which lie parallel to the valve seat plane from the outside inwards and are each connected to one of the channels 32. A seal 41 is provided between the valve seat plate and the cylinder head or the cylinder, and between the valve seat plate 5 and stroke limiter plate 12 'there is a seal 39, the latter being designed as a rubber ring. Instead of the rubber ring, however, a flat, metallic seal, e.g.
B. aluminum, are used.
The embodiment according to FIG. 7 differs from that according to FIG. 6 only in that the upper stroke limiting plate 13 'for the pressure valves is also continuous here and with the valve seat plate 5 and the lower stroke limiting plate 12' together between cylinder 1 and cylinder head 2 is clamped. In this case, two seals 39 are required, which may also be flat and z. B. can be made of aluminum.
Here, too, through bolts (40, FIG. 6) are provided, but they are not shown.
The embodiment according to FIG. 8 corresponds approximately to that according to FIG. 7 with the only difference that here a valve seat plate 42 is seen for the pressure valves 7 and a second valve seat plate 43 for the suction valves 6, each of which with the stroke limiter plate of the other Valve group (42 ', 43') consists of one piece.
The pressure valve plates 11 are not centered in a countersunk, coaxial through-hole, as in the previous embodiments and in the suction valves 6, but in a frustoconical countersink 49 of the stroke limiting part of the plate 43.
The two plates 42 and 43 are connected by means of a number of head screws 44 divided on the circumference and clamped together derkopf 2 on the outer circumference between cylinder 1 and Zylin. They are also centered against each other by means of cylindrical lugs 45 and 46 and sealed by aluminum seals 47 and 48 abge.
This embodiment can also be cooled by means of the cooling water channels axially penetrating the clamping surface, which are not shown in the picture, with blind holes as in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 being provided in both plates 42 and 43 or only in one of the two can.
The exemplary embodiments described by no means exhaust the implementation possibilities of the invention; rather, numerous design variants are still conceivable within the scope of the invention.
