Method for conveying media of all kinds and devices for this purpose It is known that, for example, when conveying liquids, gases and their mixtures by means of jet devices such as ejectors and injectors, there is poor efficiency. This poor efficiency is due to the changing proportions of propellant to the medium to be conveyed during the conveying process. In the known device, the Treibmit tel and the medium to be conveyed are guided essentially in a straight flow.
The above-mentioned disadvantage is avoided according to the method according to the invention in that the negative pressure in the core of a swirl flow is used as the drive for the media to be conveyed; a medium used as a propellant is set in a twisting motion and the medium to be conveyed is fed to the core of the twisting flow.
In the drawing, a device for implementing the method according to the invention is shown in two embodiments, for example. Those in the figures are kept schematic.
In the device as illustrated in FIG. 1, a propellant is supplied to the swirl chamber 1 in the direction of arrow 4 through a tangential inlet 5. The propellant flows within - the swirl chamber in a swirl flow. At the core of this flow, a negative pressure arises, which sucks in the medium to be promoted from the guide tube 2 in the direction of arrow 6. Both media (propellant and medium to be conveyed) then flow through the exhaust pipe 3 according to arrow 7 to the outside of the system. In this case, intimate mixing of the propellant with the medium to be conveyed occurs in the exhaust pipe 3.
After these statements, Fig. 2 is probably self-evident. The only difference is that the propellant is fed to the swirl chamber 1 via an axial guide device 8. The exhaust pipe is designed here as a diffuser. The arrows 4 again indicate the direction of flow for the propellant, the arrow 6 the direction for the medium to be conveyed and the arrow 7 the direction of the outflow of the two media. The feed pipe 2 can end within the swirl chamber 1 at different points.
This tube can optionally also terminate flush with the outlet opening from the swirl chamber 1 to the outside.
The invention is not limited to the illustrated exemplary embodiments. The device described can also be used to convey dusty, granular or lumpy media. Media in various physical states (gaseous, liquid, possibly dusty) can also be used as propellants.
