Fig. 2 stellt die Einrichtung im Schnitt dar.
Process for installing a transistor amplifier in a telephone subscriber set and microphone capsule for carrying out the process It is well known that the microphone capsules with carbon powder that are still commonly used today in telephone subscriber stations do not meet all practical requirements because the carbon powder likes to give rise to all sorts of undesirable intrinsic noises and because its service life is particularly important The presence of moisture leaves a lot to be desired.
It has therefore already been proposed to use electromagnetic, electrodynamic or electrostatic microphones in place of common, sensitive Kohlemikropho nen. However, these microphone types of high quality in and of themselves have the disadvantage that their sensitivity is insufficient for a normal telephone subscriber station. By installing amplifier devices in the subscriber stations, this disadvantage can also be eliminated in a known manner. In recent times, transistor amplifiers in particular have proven to be very suitable for this purpose.
The introduction of high-quality microphones in telephone subscriber stations would be possible today from a technical point of view, but the replacement of all old subscriber stations without amplifiers by new subscriber stations with Ver stronger would require extraordinarily large financial expenses.
The present invention avoids these parts after and relates to a method for installing a transistor amplifier for the microphone currents in a telephone subscriber apparatus with a microphone, in which a microphone capsule with the Tran sistor amplifier to a structural unit is built so that the latter is built in place of the existing microphone capsule in the microphone can be used. The invention also relates to a microphone capsule for a microphone for carrying out the method and is characterized in that it is combined with a transistor amplifier to form a structural unit.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail using the figures and the description.
1 shows the circuit diagram of the device, FIG. 2 shows a device in section (side elevation), FIG. 3 shows the same device, also cut, viewed from BB, FIG. 4 shows the same device, also cut, from A-A 5 the same device installed in the microtelephone.
In FIG. 1, 1 represents a telephone subscriber station which is connected to the subscriber line a and b with the connections 2 and 3.
4, 5, 6 and 7 are the wires of the connecting cord between the subscriber station and the microtelephone 8, the wires 4 and 5 making the connection with a known receiver capsule 9.
The wires 6 and 7 in turn establish the connec tion with the microphone capsule 10. This consists of the actual high-quality microphone 11, which can be based on the dynamic, magnetic, piezoelectric or electrostatic principle, and a complete two-stage transistor amplifier. For example, a high-quality, insensitive carbon microphone can also be used for 11. High-quality carbon microphones include the so-called cross-flow microphones, push-pull microphones, etc. All these high-quality carbon microphones have the common disadvantage that they are very insensitive, which disadvantage can be remedied by installing an amplifier.
The sound pressure is converted by the microphone 11 into an audio-frequency signal and this is coupled to the base of the first transistor 13 via a capacitor 12. The operating DC voltage receives this from the voltage divider, which is formed by the resistor collector-emitter of the second Tran sistor 14 and the resistors 15 and 16. The subscriber station direct current flows through this arrangement and thus generates the operating direct voltages required for the amplifier. The capacitor 17 decouples the resistors 15 and 16 in terms of alternating current, which at the same time serve as an emitter resistor for the second transistor 14.
The base bias of the first amplifier stage is generated by the current flowing through the resistor 18 and the base-emitter resistor of the first transistor 13. The audio-frequency signal is amplified in a known manner and appears via the load resistor 19. From there it is coupled to the base of the second transistor 14 via the capacitor 20. The base bias of this transistor 14 is generated by the current flowing through the resistor 21, the resistor base-emitter of the transistor 14 and through the opposing stands 15 and 16.
The work resistance was this second amplifier stage is formed by the impedance of the microphone circuit of the subscriber station 1. In this Mikrophonstrom circle now arrives via the wires 6 and 7, the audio-frequency signal generated by the microphone 11 and amplified by the Tran sistor amplifier.
Fig. 2 shows the device in section. The housing 25 has such a shape that it can be easily used in normal microtelephones 8 (see Fig. 5). The cover 27 is pressed onto the housing 25. The complete magnetic microphone 11 (see also FIG. 1) is accommodated in the housing 25. It will be briefly described below: 28 is the upper and 29 the lower system plate of the magnetic microphone 11. 30 and 31 are its permanent magnets, between which the armature 32 is clamped.
The plunger 33 connects the armature 32 with the plastic membrane 34. 35 is a damping plate which dampens the resonance peaks of the microphone through air friction. 36 is the coil in which the audio-frequency signal is generated. The contact 37 establishes the electrical connection with the contact spring of the microtelephone 8. The following is to show how the two-stage transistor amplifier can be arranged in the housing 25 in addition to the microphone 11: 38 is an insulating plate on which the switching elements for the amplifier on one side and the printed circuit on the other side are built . The relatively large electrolytic capacitors 17 and 20 are housed in the lower part of the housing 25.
In Fig. 3 you can see the arrangement of the switching elements 12, 15, 16, 18, 19 and 21 on the insulating plate 38.
In Fig. 4, the printed circuit 22 on the insulating plate 38 and the arrangement of the two transistors 13 and 14 is clearly visible.
FIG. 5 shows how the device can be installed in the microtelephone 8. The earpiece 9 is screwed Festge with a known earpiece 39. The contacts 40 and 41 establish the connection between the receiver capsule 9 and the wires 6 and 7.
The microphone capsule 10 is with a one. language 42, which may differ from the previously known models, screwed tight. The contact springs 43 and 44 establish the connection with the wires 4 and 5.
