Stator winding bar for turbo generators In order to increase the performance of a turbo generator or to reduce the dimensions of the machine while maintaining the same performance, it is already known to provide direct copper cooling by means of a gas or a liquid for the rotor of the machine.
The cooling system consists of a number of cooling channels within the rotor slots, which are formed by spacer pieces between the slot insulation and the winding conductors and possibly also by cavities within the conductors themselves, the cooling medium being conveyed through these channels and thus directly face contact with the rotor wieklung within the grooves is used.
The purpose of the invention is no more to achieve a further improvement in the cooling of turbo-generators, namely using the principle of direct copper cooling also for the stator winding of the machine. In the case of direct cooling of the stator winding, however, the analogous application of the arrangements proposed for cooling the rotor movement is not possible, since the electrical conditions are not the same in both cases.
The solution to the problem of stator winding cooling is much more difficult, since this winding is under a much higher voltage than the rotor movement. Furthermore, it has been shown that the known cooling systems for the Rotarwieklung are much too complicated and consequently cannot guarantee sufficient safety for the proper circulation of the cooling medium in the cooling channels. For the direct copper cooling of the stator cooling, new approaches would have to be found.
The subject matter of the invention is thus a stator oscillating rod for turbo-generators, in which at least part of the rod surface within the stator slot is coated with a coolant.
The desired direct copper cooling is now achieved according to the invention in that a molded piece made of insulating material is provided on at least one longitudinal side of the conductor of the winding rod, which is pressed against the rod through the groove insulation and together with it forms a number of channels that allow a flow of the coolant in the longitudinal direction of the stator slot.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, specifically FIGS. 1 to 8 show different embodiments of the invention.
Figures <B> 1 </B> to <B> 3 </B> show three different stator winding bars in cross section. In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the Wieli: - ventilation rod is designed as a back rod and consists of two conductor groups <B> 1 </B> and 2.
On the sides of the rod there is a form piece: 3 or 4 made of an insulating compound, and these form styles are created by the usual groove insulation <B> 5 </B> firmly pressed against the long sides of the bar ladder. The insulation <B> 5 </B> can be implemented both as a crimp with foils and as a wrapping with insulating tape.
The fittings <B> 3, </B> 4 are, for example, made of a casting resin or a blend of glass fabric with a synthetic resin and, as can be seen from the perspective view of a fitting according to FIG. 4, with parallel Ribs <B> 6 </B> running towards the rivet axis. When assembling the fittings with the rocking bar <B> 1, </B> 2, the continuous axially extending channels <B> 7 </B> are formed through which the cooling medium flows and causes direct cooling of the conductors.
2 shows an embodiment in which only one shaped piece <B> 3 </B> is provided on one side of the rod <B> 10 </B>. This is sufficient in such cases as the present one, where the weighing rod is only formed from a group of rod conductors and the copper cross-section is relatively narrow.
In Fig. 3, a further stator winding bar consisting of two parallel groups of partial conductors 21 and 22 is shown in cross section. The cooling channels <B> 7 </B> are in this case formed by a molded piece <B> 13 </B>, which is arranged between the conductor groups and has axially extending ribs <B> 16 </B> on both sides . With <B> 5 </B> the 1%, thigh isolation is again indicated. The molded part <B> 13 </B> is illustrated in FIG. 5.
For rods in which the individual conductors are not twisted in any form, such as back rods, punga rods and the like, it is advisable to use fittings of the type shown in FIG. 6 for the conductors running parallel to the rod axis > to be provided for the type shown. The molded pieces have a number of evenly distributed projections on the inside which are pressed against the sides of the individual conductors when the molded pieces are assembled with the winding.
In this way, meandering cooling paths are created, and the sub-conductors running parallel to the rod axis are individually supported by the protrusions <B> 1.5 </B>.
The same purpose can also be achieved, as shown with the rod according to FIG. 7, by overlapping shaped pieces <B> 33, </B> 34, which the rod <B> 31, 3, 22 </B> completely enclose. As can be seen from FIG. 8, these molded pieces have inclined ribs 26. The channels <B> 27 </B> formed by these ribs <B> '2: 6 </B> resting on the side surfaces of the ladder are connected to one another at the top and bottom by cutouts <B> '28 </B> so that the channels take a very bell-shaped course.
A gas (e.g. hydrogen) or a cooling liquid (e.g. oil) can be used as the cooling medium. However, in order to avoid smoldering in the cooling channels during cooling by means of a gas, a selective covering <B> 8 <is placed between the molded parts <B> 3, </B> 4 and the external insulation <B> 5 </B> / B> inserted, which, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, is conductively connected to the copper. The invention is of course not limited to the constructions of the stator shaft bars illustrated in the drawing.
Furthermore, it is also conceivable that in certain cases where several groups of bar conductors arranged next to one another are also present, molded pieces both between the conductor groups (Fig. 3) and on the outside (Fig. 3) as well as on the outside (Fig. 3) > 1 </B> or 2) can be provided to increase the number of cooling channels.
The direct stator oscillating cooling described has the great advantage that the production of the cooling channels is very simple and the risk of blockage of the cooling paths has been reduced to a minimum.
