Ausser dem Aluminium enthalten die erfind@ingsgemässen Legierungen 0,6 bis 2,0#%, Kupfer, 0,7 bis 2,0 /o Magnesium und 0;6 bis2,0 0/0 Silizium, vorzugsweise 0;
0,4 bis 1,2 ',\n Mangan, 0,10 bis 0,40 IM Chrom, 0,02 bis 0,30 1/u Titan und 0,001 bis 0,010<B>'IM</B> Beryl lium, wobei die bevorzugten41en@en für das stranggepress:te und/oder geschmiedete Mate- rial 0,5 bis 0,8 % Mangan, O.,30 bis 0,4011/o Chrom und 0;
0-5 bis 0,1011/o. Titan waren.

Aluminum alloy The invention relates to Alumi nium alloys and relates in particular to a wrought aluminum alloy, which was high strength and excellent resistance against corrosion.
The invention relates to an aluminum alloy which is characterized. by a content of 0; 6 to 2.0% copper, 0.7 to 2; 0 1 / a magnesium and 0.6 to 2.0% silicon.
There is a great demand for aluminum alloys which have a higher strength than the known aluminum-k, magnesium-silicon alloys, without having to give up too much of the known excellent corrosion resistance of these alloys.
It is known that aluminum-copper-magnesium alloys, which have typical tensile strengths of approximately -1550 kg / em2 and typical flexural strengths of 3360 kg / em2, are not sufficiently corrosion-resistant for many purposes. In addition, these alloys cannot easily be treated using the ablation welding process.
In contrast, the aluminum. -Magnesium -Silicon alloys, which have excellent corrosion resistance and good weldability, not as high a resistance as is desired for various uses. The aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloys have a typical tensile strength of 3150 kg / cm2 and a typical flexural strength of 2800 kg / em2.
It is known that although aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloys have good weldability, they do not maintain good strength in the zone influenced by the heat during welding during heat treatment and during tempering.
In contrast to this, the aluminum-copper- @ 1Vlagnesium alloys have good strength in the zone influenced by the heat during welding during the heat treatment and during tempering, but can only be welded with great difficulty and in the area of the heat affected zone. very low corrosion resistance.
In addition, the usual extruded aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloys and the aluminum-copper-magnesium alloys have a surface quality known as traces and which is characterized by line-like scratches that run parallel to and in the direction of extrusion a small metallic precipitate.
The main objective of the invention is therefore a deformable aluminum alloy that has the typical tensile and flexural strengths. which has aluminum-copper-magnesium alloys and which has the resistance to corrosion of, for example, aluminum-y-magnesium-silicon alloys.
The invention is also aimed at deformable aluminum alloys which are easy to weld and which, after welding, retain their good strength and corrosion resistance in the heat-affected zone during the heat treatment and tempering.
The invention also aims at aluminum alloys which have good machinability and show little tendency towards traces during Stra.ngpressens.
The invention also aims at aluminum alloys of the type mentioned, which have a fine structure in forgings and .Strangpressstüeken. Other objects and advantages emerge from the following description of preferred embodiments. The invention is based on the discovery of a novel group of aluminum alloys, the high. Have tensile strength, excellent corrosion resistance and easy weldability and which maintain strength and corrosion resistance in the zone affected by heat during welding when heat treatment and tempering takes place.
In addition to aluminum, the alloys according to the invention contain 0.6 to 2.0%, copper, 0.7 to 2.0% magnesium and 0.6 to 2.0% silicon, preferably 0;
8 to 1.3% copper, 0.9 to 1.4% magnesium and 1.0 to 1.6 / a silicon.
The alloys according to the invention retained their desired mechanical properties if a heat treatment above 50-1 C (but below the temperature at which the melting or sintering begins), then a fairly rapid quenching and then tempering at temperatures between 149 and '04 C for 24 hours.
Tests have shown that the structure of the aluminum alloy according to the invention can be influenced by the addition of other specific alloy elements. can. The most effective combination for refining the structure is to add one or more of the following elements:
0.4 to 1.2 ', \ n manganese, 0.10 to 0.40 IM chromium, 0.02 to 0.30 1 / u titanium and 0.001 to 0.010 <B>' IM </B> beryllium, the preferred 41s for the extruded and / or forged material 0.5 to 0.8% manganese, O., 30 to 0.4011 / o chromium and 0;
0-5 to 0.1011 / o. Titan were. In addition, one or more elements that refine the C structure can be added, such as molybdenum, tungsten, cobalt, zirconium, boron, nickel and vanadium.
The alloys according to the invention have a tensile strength range of <B> 3780 </B> to 4760 kg / cm 2. The associated flexural strength range was 3.36'0 to 437 ': 5 k - # / em.-'. The stretch values were between 12.0 to 20% in 50 mm.
