Le stator est identiqueà celui de la fig. 1 et ne sera, par conséquent, pas décrit.
Apparatus for circulating a fluid in a pipe The present invention relates to an apparatus for circulating a fluid in a pipe, comprising an electric motor whose rotor drives a member, provided with fins to cause the circulation of said fluid, this member being mounted in a casing having an inlet port and an outlet port.
The apparatus according to the invention is characterized in that the with finned member has its axis of rotation transverse with respect to to the direction passing through said inlet orifices and of àortic of the casing, in that the rotor is mounted in a housing communicating with the space of the casing in which the fluid circulates , this rotor being fixed to the end of a shaft, the other end of which carries the member provided with wings, in that a partition, in a non-magnetic material, is arranged between the rotor and the sta tor of the electric motor to isolate them from each other in a sealed manner, and in that at least one of the parts of the motor constituting the stator and.
the rotor is formed of two annular elements, each of these elements consisting of a band of metal wound in a spiral and at least one of these elements being provided with notches in which a winding is housed, the two elements being fixed one to the other so that the notches are closed. The accompanying drawing represents, by by way of example, two embodiments of the apparatus forming the object of the present invention. Fig. 1 is an axial sectional view of the first embodiment.
1 Fig. 2 is a view similar to to FIG. 1 of the second embodiment. Fig. 3 is a view, to on a larger scale, in section, of a detail. The apparatus represented in - fig. 1 comprises an electric motor designated in a general- way in M, in which the rotor 1 drives a wheel to </ B > fins 2 of a pump intended to cause the circulation of a fluid in a pipe.
The rotor 1 is mounted inside a housing that includes a casing 4 from manufacture with a pipe section 3, of so that said rotor is immersed in the circulating liquid during the operation of the apparatus which will be described. This rotor is constituted by a ring formed by a band of soft iron wound in a spiral as shown in 5 and bearing a ring 6 forming a squirrel cage.
The 5 ring is fixed to a 7 disc carrying a 8 hub mounted to rotation on an axis of support 9. The wheel 2 which is shown coming from manufacture with the hub 8 of the rotor is also mounted to rotation on the 'axis' 9. This wheel could, of course, be manufactured separately from the rotor and fixed coaxially to the latter by known means. Its axis of rotation is transverse with respect to to the direction passing through the inlet and outlet ports of Envelope 4.
The stator 10 of the motor is formed by two rings Il and Il ' as shown to in fig. 3, each ring being formed from a strip of soft iron wound around itself in the same way as the rotor ring 5 .
Notches 12 and 12 'are formed, for example, by milling, in the rings 11, respectively II, and these are then fixed one to the other by bolts or by external clamping with the notches 12 and 12 # facing each other to form, openings intended to receive a winding-13 . The stator 10 is mounted inside a separate casing 14 intended to to be fixed by bolts, not shown, on the casing 4 of the rotor.
A partition 15 formed by a disc of a non-magnetic material, for example of a stainless metal such as chromium, or of a plastic material, is arranged between the rotor and the </ B > motor stator to insulate them tightly.
The stator 10 is fixed to the bottom of the casing 14, but it could also be fixed to the partition 15. The axle 9 is bolted in 9 ' on the partition 15 and in 9 "" on the pipe 3. The current is fed to the stator through the bottom 16 of the envelope 14, a cover 17 closing access to the connections not shown.
In the embodiment shown to in fig. 2, the rotor is mounted in a housing of a part 18 independent of the casing comprising the pipe section 3 and to which this part is fixed by means of a 19 flange bolted to a corresponding flange 20 of the casing.
The rotor ring 5 (identical to that of the previous embodiment) is fixed on a disc 21 integral with a hollow shaft 22. The end < B> of this shaft 22 adjacent to the partition 15 carries an annular piece 23 intended to </ B> come to rest against a washer 24 integral with the partition 15.
The hollow shaft 22 is supported at one end in a bearing 25 formed in an interior wall of the part 18 and at the other end in a bearing 26 formed in the end of this part 18. These bearings are lubricated by the liquid of the line 3 and include, to this effect, sleeves arranged so to let liquid pass as is visible in fig. 2. Channels 27 put the interior of a chamber 28 in communication with the housing of the rotor, so that the latter is submerged in liquid not circulating when the device is in operation.
The chamber 28 communicates, for its part, with the interior of the casing in which is mounted a with vaned wheel 30, through 29. channels
The with vaned wheel µ0 is fixed to the end of the hollow shaft 22 protruding from the part 18, so to < / B> extend to the interior of the # eloppe. A channel 31 formed in the hub of the wheel 30 makes the interior of the shaft 22 communicate with the casing, thus allowing the liquid to pass and cool the annular part 23 rubbing against the washer 24.
The stator is identical to that of fig. 1 and therefore will not be described.
