Dies tritt' insbesondere bei motorisch angetriebenen Nähmaschinen auf, die mit nockengesteuerten Führungen für die Herstellung von Zierstichen ausgerüstet sind, weil bei abgestelltem Motor der Mechanismus meist unmittelbar vor einem Nocken zum Still stand kommt, der dann beim Anlassen den vorerwähnten Widerstand erzeugt.-- Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Anlassen und zur Regelung der Dreh ;
Device for starting and regulating the speed of single-phase series motors for the drive of machines with heavily changing load over time For machines with a single-phase series motor with variable speed and a load that changes rapidly over time, starting in the lower speed range is usually extremely difficult:
If a relatively high peak load occurs abruptly, it is practically impossible. In order to overcome the resistance against the starting process, an excessive torque must be generated using a relatively large current, with the result that when the resistance is overcome, the motor and the machine suddenly start at a higher speed.
This occurs in particular with motor-driven sewing machines that are equipped with cam-controlled guides for the production of decorative stitches, because when the motor is switched off, the mechanism usually comes to a standstill immediately in front of a cam, which then generates the aforementioned resistance when started. - The invention relates to a device for starting and regulating the rotation;
number of single-phase series motors, in particular for driving sewing machines with cam-controlled guides for the production of decorative stitches, which device, using the well-known Barkohouse circuit, one armature parallel to the motor and one in series with the motor , has adjustable resistance. The invention consists in that the two resistors are built into a common housing and are coupled to the common actuating organs of the control device and among themselves in such a way that they respond when the engine is started with a slight travel difference of the actuating organs, which causes
that in the initial stage of starting the resistance connected in parallel to the motor armature is a minimum and the resistance connected in series with the motor is a maximum, which conditions change in the opposite direction with further actuation of the starter.
The drawing illustrates some examples from the implementation of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows the schematic diagram of the known Barkhausenschaltung on which the invention is based, wherein the motor, be standing from the armature A and the two field windings b'1 and F2, a regulating resistor R1 in series and a regulating resistor R2 connected in parallel to the armature A is.
. FIG. 2 basically illustrates the same scheme as FIG. 1, but in an embodiment corresponding to the invention and the arrangement of the regulating resistors, with the associated switching elements.
Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment of the scheme according to another Ausfüh approximately form of the invention. 4 to 7 each show a longitudinal section through the starter housing in various embodiments of the device in elevation.
Fig. 8 is a view of the device provided in Fig. 4, seen from below, while Fig.9 is a view similar to Fig.8 in another embodiment.
As can be seen from FIGS. 4 to 6, the two are in the starter housing 1, each in 'a block of insulating material, electrically separated from each other _ built-in regulating resistors 2 and 3 housed and fastened so that they are housed by a housing on the Ge about an axis 5 tiltable pedal 4 can be operated simultaneously.
For the present purpose, the use of known carbon pressure resistors has proven to be useful, where within an insulating body a larger number of carbon plates are layered on top of one another, the contact resistance of which can be changed by changing pressure. This known device is not shown in the drawing.
As is known, the platelets associated with a resistor can either be joined together to form individual elongated columns (diagram FIG. 3) or to form sub-columns arranged next to one another and connected in series with one another (diagram FIG. 2).
The embodiments shown in Figs. 4-6 and 8 use the latter type, thus short, wide resistance body 2 and 3 with two built-in parallel resistance columns according to the scheme Fig.2. Long individual columns 18 are shown in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 7 and 9 according to the diagram in FIG. In principle, the effect is the same in both cases. It is only a question of installation.
The state of the resistors is such that when the motor is switched off at the resistance R1, the carbon platelets are relieved of pressure and the circuit is interrupted by the built-in contact k1. When the cons was R2, however, when the engine is switched off, the pressure on the carbon platelets is a maximum and, as a result, its resistance is a minimum.
When the motor is switched on, i.e. when the pedal is depressed, the contact bridge K then moves in the direction of the arrow P, whereby the resistance R2 is increasingly relieved and its resistance stood, and at the same time the armature current also increases, until the moment where the contact k2 interrupts the circuit of R2 and the armature current reaches its maximum.
During this, the resistor R1 in the motor circuit is initially energized by the contact k1 and then increasingly compressed so that its resistance decreases and the motor current increases proportionally, up to the moment when the resistor is finally short-circuited by the bridge B. becomes. At this moment the motor develops its greatest torque and maximum speed.
The switching devices k1 and k2 illustrated in the schematic representations of FIGS. 2 and 3 are built into the insulating bodies of the regulating resistors and are not shown in detail in the drawing because they are not part of the invention. The only condition is that they are directed in such a way that there is a certain amount of play in the transmission of motion, which allows a certain path difference between the actuators at the start of the start, whereby contact k1 is able to close before the start of relief at resistance R2.
The variants shown in Figures 4 to 6 differ only in the difference in the arrangement of the Wi derstandskörper 2 and 3 in the starter housing from each other. 4 and 6, for example, the two resistance bodies are arranged in different levels, whereby they are staggered in Fig. 4, so that there is enough space to the control rod 8 of the upper Wi resistance body 2 on the precaution made of insulating material Coupling 7 and the transmission means 6 to be connected to the pedal 4.
The tensioned control rod 8 carries a nut 9 also made of insulating material, which on the one hand, when actuated, pushes in the control rod 13 of the lower resistance body 3 and on the other hand tensions the return spring 10, which causes the return of the organs after the pedal 4 is released guaranteed. In the device shown in Fig. 6, the resistance body 2 and 3 are arranged one above the other and fixed in the housing 1, the two control rods 8 and 13 working in opposite directions zuein other.
Your extended to the rear ends are via coupling members 14 made of insulating material and a flexible len traction means 16 running over pulleys 15, which can be a chain or a rope or other means, mitein other coupled. The opposite ends of these control rods carry couplings 7, one of which is coupled to the pedal 4 and the other to the return spring 10 via a flexible train 6.
The arrangement according to FIG. 5 shows the resistance bodies 2 and 3 in the same plane with coaxial, opposing control rods. Both control rods 8 and 13 are coupled to a common driver 12 made of insulating material, at the upward end of the over tragungsorgan 6 and the return spring 10 angmeifen at the same time.
FIG. 8 shows the housing in the embodiment according to FIG. 4 seen from below. As can be seen, the resistance bodies 2 and 3 according to the diagram in FIG. 2 have a width that is relatively large in relation to their length, in that the associated contact devices k1 or </ are placed between each two short resistance columns housed parallel to one another in their insulating body. I> k2 and control rods 8 and 13 are arranged.
FIG. 9 shows a view similar to FIG. 8, but rod-shaped individual resistance bodies 18, 19 according to the scheme of FIG. 3 of twice the length compared to those of FIG. 2, are used. In Figure 7, another embodiment is shown, in which the transmission of movement from the pedal 4 to the Regu lierwideratoren takes place via a rigid linkage 17, resistance body 18, 19 are used in the Fig. 3 and 9 corresponding long resistance form.
There could be further embodiments deviating from those described, but their function is basically always the same, since the installation and design of the resistors do not affect the essence of the invention.
In the case of one of the two resistance bodies 2 belonging to a unit, the carbon platelets are pre-compressed to the maximum by the spring force of the return spring 10 when the starter is idle, which corresponds to the switch-off position of the motor, so that they offer the lowest electrical resistance . When the other resistance body 3 within the starter housing 1, the platelets are completely relieved when the starter is at rest, so that its electrical resistance is a maximum.
By actuating the pedal 4, the two resistances are influenced in such a way that the one previously compressed is relieved and, conversely, the one previously relieved is compressed. These processes take place simultaneously and usually gradually to the same extent as the pedal is pressed.
