Die dazu erforderliche Zeit ist ver schieden je nach dem Ausgangszustand, in dem sich die Drossel befindet, wenn eine treibende Spannung in der Durchlassrichtung des Ven tils auftritt. Bei bekannten Regelanordnungen wird dieser Ausgangszustand durch eine steuerbare Rückmagnetisierungseinriehtung ;
(Hilfs ventil).
Be zeichnet rz, die Windungszahl der Drossel D1 und<I>d</I> (I)AC. die Flussänderung zwischen den Punkten A und C, so ist FA = 7c . 4 1<B>A</B>,, (Vsec). ;
EMI0002.0074
(in Vorwärtsrichtung) bzw. i,.
Magnetic amplifier arrangement It is known to control the current and voltage of any power consumer, which is connected to an alternating voltage source, with the aid of an electric valve and a device to change its modulation level. For this purpose, a so-called magnetic amplifier is used, especially in conjunction with a dry O.; leichricht.er.
This is a throttle lying in line with the valve, which is saturated at the nominal current value of the arrangement up to above the knee of its; lla - # @ netization characteristic. Such a throttle prevents a current from occurring in the passage direction of the valve until it has moved from the saturated state to the saturated one.
The time required for this is different depending on the initial state in which the throttle is when a driving voltage occurs in the forward direction of the valve. In known control arrangements, this initial state is controlled by a controllable reverse magnetization device;
oil flows each time during the valve's blocking time. The aims of the invention are to improve and further develop such a device. Accordingly, the invention relates to a magnetic amplifier arrangement, consisting of an electrical main valve and a magnetic amplifier throttle lying in series with it with a controllable reverse magnetization device, which the magnet,
net amplifier throttle by means of an auxiliary circuit which contains an electrical auxiliary valve with the reverse flow direction as the main valve, supplies a controllable voltage time integral to return the magnetic amplifier throttle to the unsaturated state during the blocking time of the main valve.
The invention consists in that in the auxiliary circuit a periodically saturable and remagnetizable auxiliary choke with a lower magnetizing current than the magnetic amplifier throttle is arranged in series with the auxiliary valve and the voltage-time integral with which the auxiliary choke is magnetized back can be changed. The invention makes it possible to get by with smaller control organs or to increase the degree of gain and to solve other technical tasks, as explained in more detail below.
A number of exemplary embodiments are shown in the drawing in FIGS. 1, 3, 5 to 7 and 9. The Fig.2, 4 and 8 ent hold diagrams to explain the we effect.
In Fig. 1, Z 'means a transformer with the secondary voltage e (main voltage). It feeds a working circuit with, for example, a purely ohmic load R, e.g. B. incandescent lamps, via a magnetic amplifier throttle Dl and a valve V (main valve). The throttle Dl, which is also referred to below as the main throttle, is preferably equipped with a toroidal tape core.
Your magnetization curve should be inclined as little as possible to the flux axis in the unsaturated area, at the transition points from the unsaturated area to the saturated areas as sharp kinks as possible and in the saturated areas as possible parallel to the exciter axis. Their remanence should be close to the saturation induction.
Such a characteristic, which is often referred to as a Reehteck loop, is. shown for example in FIG. The number of turns and core cross-section of the magnetic amplifier choke are designed in such a way that it is fully saturated even with a relatively small value of the load current. According to Fig.1 is.
an auxiliary circuit, which is used to reverse magnetise the magnetic amplifier choke during the blocking times of the main valve V, is connected between points r and r 'of the working circuit. It can also be connected between points r and 7 ". The auxiliary circuit contains a valve V,. (Auxiliary valve). The current flowing in the main circuit is marked with il. And the reverse magnetization current flowing in the auxiliary circuit with i,.
In Fig. 2, to explain the mode of operation, the magnetization characteristic as a function of the excitation aufgetra conditions. This characteristic corresponds. a core material with low coercive force, e.g. B.
the 50% nickel-iron alloy known under the trade name Permenorm 5000 Z. With a given throttle size, the excitation can be based on the flow in AW, the ordinate values can be in units of induction B (Gauss) or flow 05 (Maxwell) or the voltage time integral, which is shown in the time diagram in Fig. 4 as area F (Vsec) appears,
can be read. To explain the mode of operation, it is assumed that the throttle Dl is in a magnetization state corresponding to point A. In the passage direction of the main valve V, which is viewed as positive, the throttle Dl runs through the steep part of the characteristic curve from A to C. The alternating voltage e is. initially practically entirely at the throttle.
As a result, the positive voltage half-wave according to FIG. 4, which, among other things, shows the course of the; Voltage e as a function of time t shows an area FA cut out.
Denotes rz, the number of turns of the choke D1 and <I> d </I> (I) AC. the change in flux between points A and C, then FA = 7c. 4 1 <B> A </B> ,, (Vsec). ;
After reaching the saturation state at C, the load current jumps to the value
EMI0002.0062
The mean value of the equilibrium voltage prevailing at the resistor R is E, 111 _ .t- (FH-F: a). Here f is the frequency of the Weeliselspaii- nung in Hz and FH is the area of a half-wave, just like FA expressed in Vsee.
The mean value of the current delivered is
EMI0002.0074
When the current i .. becomes zero at the point. E, the induction retains the saturation value B. Without the reverse magnetization circuit rr ', this state of the choke D would be maintained during the negative voltage half-wave, so that the choke would be found in the saturated state by the next positive voltage half-wave .
On the other hand, the auxiliary circle causes r-r 'in the negative. Half-wave back magnetization of the choke. Dl.
According to FIG. 1, a saturation throttle D # (auxiliary throttle) is connected in series with the valve V in this reverse magnetization circuit. This auxiliary throttle can preferably be of the same type as the main throttle Dl, but significantly smaller. You only need for the magnetization ssti-oni i. the main throttle to be sized.
In any case, the auxiliary choke D .. should have a smaller magnetizing current than the main choke D1. The auxiliary choke D., absorbs the difference between the voltage areas y (FH-FA).
Since the voltage area (F11-F1) also appears at the load resistor R, the reverse re-magnetization of the throttle Dz is possible via an auxiliary circuit with a valve Vi and a control resistor Ra '.
This auxiliary circuit is kept parallel to the working circuit of the auxiliary throttle with opposite flow direction. Because of the active voltage losses, the reverse magnetization of the throttle D2 is advantageously carried out with a lower number of turns than the magnetization in the forward direction.
As a result, the Rüekmagnetisierungskreis the auxiliary choke D2, as shown, be connected to a tap dersel ben in economy circuit. The control resistor R5 'can now be replaced again by a saturation choke with a special back-niagnetization circuit. In this way he maintains a cascade arrangement of several auxiliary chokes in such a way that the downstream auxiliary choke controls the reverse niagnetisierung of the upstream chokes.
In the arrangement of FIG. 1, the regulation can instead of changing the counter stand R, also by a number of selectable taps of the auxiliary throttle D2 effected who the.
3 shows another arrangement with two-stage amplification, which has a particularly short time constant. The auxiliary choke D2 is magnetized back here by a special winding T3 of the main transformer with the full floating voltage. In this case, a voltage occurs at the throttle D2 in the direction of the valve _V, so that an interfering circulating current via the load 1t 'would close without further measures.
In order to bind this circulating current, an inisvininetric alternating voltage is introduced into the reverse magnetization circuit of the main choke, the half-waves of which have different amplitudes.
For this purpose, an additional voltage e generated at a resistor R "is used, which can be obtained by means of an auxiliary balance T, the main transformer and a full-wave rectifier C.
This additional voltage e "is set off in the negative half-wave, in which the voltage direction coincides with the forward direction of the valve V ,, from the supply voltage e2 of the magnetization circuit of the main choke generated in a special transformer winding T2.
The voltage e2 is advantageously chosen to be so much higher than the voltage e1 supplied by the main winding T1 that the resulting voltage (e2-e,) in the negative half-wave is just again equal to the voltage (ei). In the positive half-wave, the absolute values of the two voltages e2 and e add up, so that the valve V must be dimensioned for a correspondingly higher voltage. The course of the various voltages is shown in Figure 8 as a function of time t.
The purpose and effect of the circuit described result from the curves of the potential distribution shown in the third half-wave of this diagram. The potential of the point p must be lower than the potential of the point r so that no current can occur which loads the auxiliary choke D2. With the circuit described, this can be avoided even in the worst case by a suitable choice of the number of turns.
When using several identical magnetic amplifiers in a circuit of the described type, the auxiliary voltage e2 e can be generated jointly for the various amplifiers, as FIG. 9 shows, for example, for a controllable lighting system.
The reverse magnetization circuit of the saturation choke D1 can also be designed as a time circuit such that the reverse magnetization can be blocked during a selectable number of half-waves.
For this purpose, a known T-relay (telegraph relay) can be arranged in the reverse magnetization circuit, which releases the reverse magnetization circuit for the current flow only after the main circuit has been closed with a delay of several alternating voltage periods. As a result, the main throttle D1 remains saturated during this delay time, so that the full voltage on the consumer is effective until the re-magnetization begins.
After that, when the main choke is fully back magnetized, no more current flows through the consumer. However, if one of the control arrangements described for the Rüekmagnetisierungs- circuit is combined with it, z. B. an auxiliary choke corresponding to D2 in Fig. 1 and 3, you can work with reduced reverse magnetization after the delay time has elapsed, where the consumer then continues to draw current, but with a reduced effective value. Instead of a T-relay or the like, a so-called counter throttle z.
B. be provided according to patent no. 291341 in the reverse magnetization circuit. A circuit of this type is shown, for example, in FIG. 6, whereby the bridging of valve V by resistor R may initially be disregarded.
The counting throttle Z is a saturation throttle with preferably a rectangular loop, for the complete reversal of magnetization from the saturated state to the state of opposite saturation several (z) half-waves of an alternating voltage applied to it are required, and as a result, up to z half-waves of the Can block voltage in the forward direction of a valve lying in series when it is switched on in unsaturated state. Ce sees the latter in the reverse magnetization circuit of the control arrangement described, e.g.
B. ge according to FIG. 6, at the same time as the main circuit is switched on, positive half-waves are passed through according to the so-called counting number z of the counting choke from the main choke z. From the next (z + 1 / th) positive half-wave on, the counting choke is saturated and allows the reverse magnetization pulses for the main choke D1 through, so that it remains permanently blocked. This enables the delivery of a precisely defined amount of electricity (Asec).
Instead of a sinusoidal voltage, the transformer can also supply pulses, preferably those with a constant voltage area, if it is designed in the manner of a switching converter. The arrangement then becomes a counting choke amplifier. The counter throttle Z is provided with taps according to FIG. 6, so that the amount of electricity supplied to the consumer can be set or changed.
The higher the number of turns of the counting choke that comes into effect here, the greater the counting number z. Some of the lowest adjustable numbers can be selected, for example, so that the counting number z is less than 1.
Essential for the mode of operation is the condition that even when the smallest number of turns of the counting choke Z is used, its magnetic current remains lower than the magnetization current of the main choke D1. If the same type of iron is used for both chokes, 1.'1-'1i. ""; "Must be smaller than liJni, where 1i and 1z are the mean iron lengths of the chokes D1 and
Z and 11.1 or 71, ",;" are the corresponding Windxing numbers. The counter throttle set to such a tap requires only part of a single voltage radial wave for its belt magnetization, so that then the main throttle. D1 also only allows a fraction of the following positive half-wave to pass through, which is fed to the consumer R.
The arrangement is therefore suitable for resistance welding machines, shock magnetization devices and the like that are to be switched on briefly during part of a half-wave up to several periods. So far, the switching on and off such facilities has been made by meehanisehe switch or by controlled power converters. However, these known devices are disadvantageous because of their more or less limited service life.
In contrast, the same switching tasks with the arrangement described last we sentlichen with resting parts, namely saturation chokes and dry rectifiers, performed almost. are not subject to any wear and tear, which means that a considerably longer service life and less susceptibility to malfunctions can be expected.
So that the delivery of limited amounts of electricity is repeated. the counter throttle must either be linearly kinagnetized or switched. For L minagnetization is used according to Fig-. 6, a reset circuit, which is connected to an auxiliary winding of the counting throttle, for example, and is fed from the mains voltage via a valve V 'and a control push button S.
7 shows a control arrangement for an resistance welding machine, in which the counting choke Z is equipped with two windings which have a magnetizing effect in opposite directions and are equipped with controllable taps. By means of a switch S ', one of the two counting throttles and, once saturation has occurred in this direction, the other counting throttle can be brought into effect.
Instead, a counting choke with a single winding and a double-pole changeover switch can be used. The L msehalter S 'is actuated, for example, by means of a relay Re, which is controlled via a pulse-holding converter SZh and a rectifier Q. becomes.
The pulse switching converter S11 'can be powered by the mains voltage; can be controlled via a rectifier V 'and a toggle switch Ta. In this way it is ensured that switching is only carried out in the half-wave in which the reverse magnetization circuit is currentless, and that only a single pulse is actuated in each case. Such circuits are known from pulse switch technology.
The load current flows through the welding electrode of the <B> SE </B> or, before it closes, through a (xround load RB ..
The diagram in FIG. 8 serves to explain the mode of operation, in which the voltage c and the current i .. (in the forward direction) or i, flowing through the main choke Dj. (backwards) are shown as a function of time i.
If you place yourself in the arrangement; na.eb. Fig. 7 lists the counting throttle Z. saturated before, the relatively low magnetizing current of the main throttle Di flows in the positive half-wave via the main valve -i 'and in the negative half-wave via the auxiliary valve. V ,, and the counter throttle. After flipping the toggle switch Ta z.
For example, at time t1, relay Re flips switch S ″, for example at time t2, so that counting choke Z is polarized in the reverse magnetization circuit.
The next (negative) voltage half-wave running in the direction of the auxiliary valve VT desaturates the counter throttle Z and therefore causes a current iz in the amount of its magnetizing current, which, according to the law, is not sufficient to reverse magnetize the main throttle D1. The following voltage half-wave (positive) therefore finds the main choke D1 saturated and generates a current half-wave i of full height,
which is given by the voltage e and the impedance of the consumer circuit.
Depending on the tap used in the counting throttle or its counting number z set with it, one or more, namely z, full current pulses result. Here, too, as already mentioned in connection with FIG. 6, smaller pulses that are driven by only part of a voltage half wave (z <1) can be set by means of appropriately designated taps of the counting throttle. For the design and sequence of the pulses, there are also the most diverse possibilities using known switching and control means. Any program controls can be implemented as desired and required.
For the counting throttle circuits can also be used to increase their counting number, through which the magnetization reversal in the pilgrim step, that is alternately by an amount forwards and backwards by a smaller amount, is effected by their voltage pulses (Vsec) changing direction and different Size can be added. In this way, a longer delay time and an expansion of the control range is achieved without using a larger counting throttle.
Such pilgrim stepping circuits essentially consist of a parallel connection of two excitation circuits of the counting throttle, which are different from each other in terms of the direction of flow and current permeability or the number of throttle turns contained in them, or a parallel connection of two different counting chokes or two identical counting chokes with additional differential elements ment.
As a simple embodiment, a bridging of the auxiliary valve V 1 is shown in FIG. by an appropriately matched, possibly controllable resistor RF, which can be interrupted by means of a switch St. It can example, the pilgrim step circuits according to German patents. 901307, 913196 and 944869 for the present Regelanord voltage can be used.
The arrangements described can be expanded in other ways. To avoid saturation of the main transformer, for example, a circuit with alternating changes in direction of the pulses can be selected.
