Device with pressure switch and with a device for setting the response range of the switch The subject of the invention is a device with a pressure switch and a device for setting the response range of pressure switches. Pressure switches are used in technology wherever at a certain minimum pressure and maximum pressure any device such. B. a warning system or pumping system should be switched on or off.
As long as such a pressure switch can be dimensioned from the outset for the switch-on and switch-off pressure, its structure is relatively simple. It is more difficult to construct a pressure switch if its response range is to be set optionally.
The invention relates to a device that makes it possible to create a pressure switch with minimal effort, the response range can be changed within wide limits. According to the inven tion, an adjustable counter force acts on the measuring element of the pressure switch according to the invention, as with known pressure switches, the measuring mechanism being connected to the switching element by a gear unit. The device according to the invention is characterized by an adjustable counter force along the switching stroke that changes its characteristics.
For this purpose, this counterforce can be divided particularly easily into two forces that work in parallel, one of which only comes into effect after a certain stroke.
Using the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing, a pressure switch constructed according to the invention is explained in detail.
The pressure switch consists in a known manner from the switching element 1, for. B. a snap switch, with lever 2 and the measuring mechanism 3. The measuring mechanism is connected via line 4 to the pressure chamber to be monitored. A counterforce in the form of spring 5 acts on the working part of the measuring mechanism. A certain minimum pressure is therefore required at the beginning of the switching movement. The bias of this spring can be set on the screw 6 and the lever arm 7 is.
This makes it possible to set the lower pressure limit of the switch, that is, the switch only starts to work from a necessary minimum pressure set according to the preload of the spring. In the course of the switching stroke, between the lower pressure limit and the upper pressure limit, the energy storage device, which is also constructed in the form of a spring 8, acts on the working part. This spring can be changed in its preload by the screw thread 9.
The switch works as follows: When the pressure rises above a certain minimum pressure, the working part is moved upwards and takes the spring 8 with it from a certain pressure. This increases the total spring force that acts on the release element, and the switch, which has to cover a very specific switching stroke, is triggered later accordingly. This is indicated in Fig. 2 by the left arrow, where the stop point of the spring 8 is designated with the cross stitch 10 and the upper trigger point of the switch with the cross line 11.
When the pressure is released, the release organ moves downward according to the right arrow in FIG. In the same position as in Figure 1, the spring 8 is held back by the stops 72, while the lower response point of the switch is only in the position indicated by the dash 13.
The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiment described, but can be modified in various ways. For example, instead of the pressure element shown, a cylinder with a piston can also be used, with the corresponding forces acting on the piston. The transmission gear between the measuring mechanism and switch can also be modified in various ways. Furthermore, it is by no means necessary to use coil springs as counterforces.
Instead of the two springs connected in parallel, a single spring with a corresponding spring characteristic can also be used.
