Method and device for generating cold by absorption The invention relates to a method and a device for generating cold by absorption.
Devices for generating cold by absorption contain an evaporator, an absorber, a cooker, a condenser and a solution pump, with at least two circulating media, that is, a coolant and a solvent, are used.
If the cooling is to take place at low evaporation temperatures, whereby the temperature of the heating steam can be low and the available amount of the possibly relatively warm cooling water can be limited, the cold generation by absorption can generally only be carried out in more than one stage making the plant and its operation costly.
In order to avoid these disadvantages, it has already been proposed to carry out the cooling in such a way that the pressure of the coolant vapor of low pressure and low temperature arising from the liquid coolant by heat extraction in the evaporator initially increases and the coolant vapor at this increased pressure your absorber is fed. In this way, the pressure prevailing in the absorber is increased in relation to the pressure in the evaporator and thus also the concentration of the solution in the absorber.
In the previous methods, however, the pressure of the coolant vapor produced in the evaporator is increased by means of a motive vapor, the pressure and temperature of which and thus its heat content are lower than those of the coolant vapor expelled in the cooker. In order to increase the pressure of a certain amount of coolant vapor generated in the evaporator, a relatively larger amount of motive steam is required here than in the case of a motive steam of high pressure and high temperature,
that means of higher heat content. - Since the amount of motive steam required to increase the pressure in the absorber is lost for useful cooling, the amount of solution participating in the cycle and thus also the dimensions of the various parts of the system and, in particular, the heating steam and water consumption of the system, the greater the more motive steam is used to increase pressure.
The method according to the invention aims to eliminate these disadvantages, with the generation of cold by absorption even at low evaporation temperatures with a relatively good degree of thermal efficiency in a single stage. and a low temperature heating steam and limited amounts of normal cooling water are sufficient.
This is achieved with the process according to the invention in that a portion of the coolant vapor expelled from the solvent by boiling is used as the motive vapor.
A system according to the invention is used to carry out the method, in which an ejector is provided between the evaporator and the absorber to increase the pressure of the coolant vapor escaping from the evaporator, and which is characterized in that the ejector is connected to the vapor space of the by means of a line Kochers is closed for the purpose of discharging from the same of serving as motive steam coolant steam.
An exemplary embodiment of the system according to the invention for carrying out the method is then explained with reference to the drawing, the method according to the invention likewise being described, for example, in connection therewith.
As can be seen from the drawing, the system is available in the usual way from an evaporator 1, an absorber 8, a Ko cher 5 and a condenser 17. The United steamer 1 is. through a pipeline, a gas heat exchanger 3 and a pipe. line 7 connected to the absorber 8.
The absorber 8 is connected to the cooker 5 via a pipe 11 and a liquid heat exchanger 12, the cooker 5 through a pipe 16. the condenser 17 and this is connected to the evaporator 1 via the gas heat exchanger 3 and a control valve 18. Between the evaporator 1 and the absorber 8, an ejector 4 is switched on, which according to the invention is closed on the steam chamber of the cooker 5 by a line 6. In the pipe 11, a feed pump 10 is switched on, which feeds the resulting solution in the absorber 8 to the Ko cher 5.
A pipe 14 connects the digester 5 via the liquid heat exchanger 12 and a throttle valve 1: 1 also with the absorber B. The absorber 8 is with. a coil 9 provided for habitual cooling water. The cooker 5 has a coil 13 for circulating the heating medium.
The illustrated embodiment of the system according to the invention he works as follows: The resulting coolant vapor in the evaporator 1 is low. Drtl, ck reaches the ejector 4 via the pipeline 2 and the gas heat exchanger 3.
In this, the pressure of the coolant vapor is increased in that a portion of the coolant vapor expelled in the cooker 5 is removed from the cooker 5 and fed via the pipe 6 to the ejector 4 as motive steam of high pressure and high temperature, and together with that from the evaporator 1 coming coolant vapor through the pipe 7 of the solution located in the absorber 8 is supplied. Thus, there is a higher pressure in the absorber 8 than in the evaporator 1, which then increases the concentration of the solution forming in the absorber 8 and creates a rich solution.
The solution heat is derived from the solution in the absorber by in the coil 9 circulating ge ordinary cooling water.
The rich solution produced in the absorber 8 is fed to the digester 5 under pressure by means of the pump 10 via the pipe 11 and the liquid heat exchanger 12. In the digester 5, the coolant is expelled from the solution by heating or ionizing by means of the heating medium running around in the pipe coil 13. The rest of the poor solution @@@ elang-t via: the pipe 14, the liquid wash exchanger 12 and the throttle valve 15 in the absorber 8 back.
The other subset of the coolant vapor expelled in the cooker flows through the pipe 16 to the condenser 17 via the pipe 16 to the rectifier 5, which is attached in the dome-like upper part of the cooker 5 and after proper drying or rectification. In this the gaseous coolant is liquefied by cooling water 'and in this to stand on the Gaswärmeausta.uscher 3 and the control valve 18 to the evaporator 1, whereby the process described begins again.
The coolant vapors produced in the evaporator 1 can also be fed directly to the ejector 4 via a pipe 19, bypassing the gas heat exchanger 3.
In the illustrated embodiment, the motive steam is fed to the ejector 4 before rectification. However, it is also possible to use part of the rectified gaseous coolant as motive steam and to supply it to the ejector 4, although the method described above is obviously more advantageous. in this case not only the condenser but also the rectifier can only be dimensioned for the amount of coolant required for useful cooling.
The heat demand for rectification and the amount of cooling water required by the condenser are also reduced.
