Description
Electrolytic Capacitor The invention relates to. an electrolytic capacitor.
Electrolytic capacitors whose anode consists of a sintered body made of metal, e.g. B. Tautal, the cathode, however, best hen from a sheet metal .. This capacitor can be connected to any electrical polarity who the, there. he doesn't polarize. is. Such a capacitor furthermore has the advantage that it already has a high capacitance with small dimensions. delivers ..
The invention lies. the task of achieving a further increase in the capacity and at the same time reducing the electrical losses. This task is achieved according to the invention by using a sintered body made of the same metal for both the anode and the cathode , e.g. Tontal, is used.
The cathode can be designed and arranged within the housing in such a way that no change in capacity occurs when the connections are changed in the sense of polarity reversal.
Furthermore, in the electrolytic capacitor according to the invention, one of the sintered electrodes, preferably the inner one, can also be used. be connected to the housing of the capacitor, which for this purpose must consist of the same metal as the electrodes, in particular of Tautal or of sheet metal plated with Tautal. Through this measure, a further reduction in electrical losses is achieved.
The invention is described in more detail using an exemplary embodiment and the accompanying drawings. In the drawing, Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of a through the longitudinal axis of a cylindrical Tan- taa-E: lel-tro @ lytkond:
e2ns @ ators and FIG. 2 shows a section in the plane II 1I of FIG. 1 perpendicular to the cylinder axis.
This capacitor then consists of a housing 1 which, for. B. consists of sheet metal and contains the two sintered bodies 2 and 3, which act as anode or cathode.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, one electrode is made up of a cylindrical body 2, while the other electrode is formed as a cup-shaped hollow body 1 in such a way that it opens the first electrode while leaving a sufficient intermediate encloses space for the electrolyte.
Both electrodes are made of sintered tantalum powder, and one electrode, here the inner one, is electrically connected to the housing, as shown at 4 .. The inside of the housing is. for this purpose, just like the sintered bodies, are provided with a barrier. For the foranieiumg of the condenser door, the methods known per se can be used.
