Schraubverbindung mit wiederholtoverwendbarer Sicherung Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Schraub verbindung mit wiederholt verwendbarer Si- eherung mittels eines Spreizringes, dessen Mittelteil eine radial nach innen gerichtete Nase aufweist, welche in eine Ausnehmung des innern der beiden ineinandergeschraubten Bauteile eingreift zwecks Herstellung einer drehfesten Verbindung zwischen diesem Bau teil und dem Spreizring;
Nase 9a in die Ausnehmung 8a eingreift und so mit dem Schraubring 8 drehfest gekuppelt ist, und dessen äussere Mantelfläche an drei Stellen auf der Wandungsoberfläche der Aus bohrung 1b aufliegt, nämlich mit dem Mittel teil und mit den beiden Schenkelenden 9b, wie aus Fig. 1 bestens ersichtlich ist;
Screw connection with repeatedly usable fuse The subject of the invention is a screw connection with repeatedly usable security by means of an expanding ring, the middle part of which has a radially inwardly directed nose which engages in a recess in the interior of the two components that are screwed into one another to produce a rotationally fixed connection between this structure part and the expanding ring;
The novelty is that the outer of the two components screwed into one another has a coaxial bore with a smooth wall surface, on which the expansion ring rests thanks to its own tension with its middle part and its two leg end parts - in order to clamp itself to it in both directions of rotation.
If the inner component and the expansion ring connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner tends to rotate or to be rotated in one direction or the other relative to the outer component, the leg part located in this direction of rotation in front of the middle part and the nose clamps itself in a self-locking manner means that the friction between it and the surface of the carrion hole is fixed against this surface due to an immediate increase in friction. There is more of a shearing of the nose than a twisting of the expansion ring with respect to the surface of the carrion hole.
As a result, the screw connection according to the invention differs considerably with its securing from the many previously known screw securing devices, and in particular also from that in which an expanding ring with a first lug on its. Middle part engages in one of several recesses in one of the components screwed into one another and with a second and a third nose on one and other of its two leg ends in recesses in the other of the two components.
In this known construction, the two components can only be secured in a limited number of rotational positions within each other, namely in those in which all the lugs of the expansion ring fit into the recess of the two components. In the construction according to the invention, on the other hand, the two components screwed into one another can be set against one another in a stepless manner if the expanding ring ends are pressed against one another using a suitable tool; after letting go of the expanding ring ends, the locking effect is achieved immediately in every setting position.
The accompanying drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, applied to a bearing of a shaft on a three-ring ball bearing.
Fig. 1 shows an axial section of a storage tion with screw connection, and Fig. 2 shows an associated side view. In the drawing, 1 denotes a stationary, sleeve-shaped machine component in which a shaft 6 is supported by means of a ball bearing 2, 3, 4, 5.
In a known manner, the inner race 5 is held in the axial direction between a shoulder 6cc of the shaft and an expanding ring 7 sitting in an annular groove 6b, and a screw ring 8 is screwed into an internal thread 1a of the component 1, which is used for this purpose to press the outer race 3 lightly against the balls 4 @ to adjust the running play of the ball bearing. The screw ring 8 must therefore be set very finely and can also be held in the desired setting,
without any axial or radial force being exerted on it. This is not possible with the known means, which is why a new fuse had to be found. The problem was solved as follows: The component 1 was provided with a central boring tang 1b with a smooth wall surface and the foremost part of the screw ring 8 with a radial recess 8a. In this AusbohrLmg 1b an expansion ring 9 is used, which is provided with a radially inwardly at its central part.
The nose 9a engages in the recess 8a and is thus coupled to the screw ring 8 in a rotationally fixed manner, and its outer lateral surface rests in three places on the wall surface of the hole 1b, namely with the middle part and with the two leg ends 9b, as shown in FIG. 1 is clearly visible;
It should be mentioned here that when inserting the expanding ring and turning it together with your screw ring 8 to adjust the bearing play, the leg ends 9b were pressed against each other a little like with a conventional inner expanding ring by means of special pliers, the pointed jaws of which into the lo cher 9e have been introduced, and that the leg ends of the inserted expansion ring remain tensioned radially inward.
If the screw ring 8 now tries to - see for example clockwise (FIG. 1) to rotate, the leg end 9b located in front of the nose 9a in this direction of rotation clamps itself self-lockingly on the surface 1b and makes any such rotation impossible. The same is the case if the screw ring 8 would like to rotate in the other sense, with the result that the purpose sought is fulfilled completely and in the simplest manner.
A similar backup can of course also be used with countless others. Use screw connections. The most obvious variant would be one in which the component 6 would form a stationary axle, the component 1, for example, the hub of a wheel. In such a case, a certain centrifugal force would still act on the legs of the expansion ring 9 during operation, and the leg ends would then rest even more strongly on the surface 1b.
In another variant, an ordinary screw could take the place of the screw ring 8, but which would have to have a longitudinal groove corresponding to the recess 8a. In place of the component 1, a nut could be used with a bore 1b that would be sufficiently wide to provide space for the expansion ring 9. The shape and mode of operation of the expansion ring would be the same as described above.
