Fig. 6 veranschaulicht die Hydraulik der Ölbremse.
5b in Verbindung ge bracht.
9a (Fug. 3) bzw.<I>9f, 9<B>f</B>, 9f"</I> (Fug. 4) für je ein Zugorgan 10 (Fug. 2) bzw. 10d (Fug. 3) bzw.
Door closer The invention relates to a door closer with at least one spring tensioning when the door is opened and a hydraulic brake which responds when the door is closed, both the spring and the brake being activated by rotating a drive element, e.g. B. drive pin are operated. In the case of closers to be hinged on the door frame or on the door, a lever is known to sit on the pivot pin, which transmits the forces via a steering linkage. If the closer is laid in the floor or in the ceiling, the drive pin coaxially coincides with the pivot pin of the door.
It. Door closers with a pivot pin are already known, on which a tension member under spring tension can be wound when pressing the door leaf with a variable lever arm and on which a hydraulic braking device acts via crank and piston rod.
The invention features compared to these closers in the fact that both the attack of a non-rigid tension member of at least one adjustably tensioned spring and that of the brake linkage on the drive shaft occurs off-center of the shaft that the mutual angular position of the tension member and the brake linkage with the shaft connecting torque transmission organs arranged on this shaft are the same for all door positions.
remains, even if the spring is readjusted, but when opening the door, the effective radial distance of the pulling element lying around the axis of the drive shaft up to a desired opening rotary position of the door continuously decreases so that the torque in this rotary position has a desired min minimum value, while it is greatest when the door is closed.
Due to the constant angle of the two torque transmission elements, which determines the course of the braking force in relation to that of the closing force, it can be achieved that the braking force is ideally matched to the closing force, regardless of how strong the spring tension is set. The torque of the closer according to the invention is greatest in the closed position, and the ratios can be selected so that a uniform closing movement is always achieved, with increasing closing pressure being coupled with a greater braking distance.
This also has the advantage that the spring tension can be adjusted independently of the change in the radial distance mentioned at the end of the closing process. A further advantage of the invention can be seen in the fact that the piston rod for the hydraulic brake piston can be articulated to a crank on the closer axis and thus allows the door to be opened beyond 90 °. At the same time, this linkage enables use for doors opening to the left and right,
when the ends of the drive shaft protrude from the top and bottom of the housing and are provided with squares to put the lever on.
In the drawing, some Ausfüh approximately examples of the invention are shown only schematically for the sake of clarity.
Fig. 1 and 2 show an example in wel chem the tension member of the spring is formed as a chain, in plan view and lateral cross section.
3 shows an embodiment with one drive shaft each for the spring tension member and the brake linkage in a plan view.
4 and 5 show an example of a closer with two closing springs in plan view and a side section.
Fig. 6 illustrates the hydraulics of the oil brake.
In all drawn Ausführungsbei play 1 or 1cc and 1b a closing tension spring, which by means of a screw 2 or 2a or -w. 2b is adjustable, 3 the hydraulic brake cylinder, 4 the brake piston rod and 5a, 5b the drive pin, which, when the. Depending on the respective closer in the floor or in the ceiling, coaxially coincide with the pivot of the door, which is not drawn in any figure for the sake of clarity. In all versions, the opening of the door takes place in that the drive pin 5a or 5b in Fig. 1, 3 and 5 rotates in a clockwise direction 5 '.
The housing 6 is posted either to the door or the door frame, the door being actuated via a steering linkage known per se by means of a lever 7 (see FIGS. 1 and 2) attached to one of the drive pins 5a or 5b. Or the housing 6 is sunk in the ceiling or the floor and the pivot pin of the door with the drive pin 5a or 5b brought in connection.
In the first case it is important that the oil brake can be turned around so that the piston rod is directed steeply upwards and protrudes from the top of the oil cylinder, so that the piston rod does not need to be sealed.
Since the entire housing is filled with oil and there is a risk that impurities get into the oil bath and the valves, nozzles or channels lose their effectiveness, it has been suggested to filter the sucked in oil. But here there is again the risk that the filter in the previously known designs could become clogged. In order to make clogging of the filter impossible and to avoid clogging of the flow nozzle with disadvantageous consequences, it is provided in the present case that the oil sucked in and pushed back by the piston is passed through one and the same filter.
The soaked oil is cleaned according to FIG. 6 through the filter sieve 20 with the smallest mesh size still to be produced and reaches the cylinder 3 via the non-return valve 21. From here it is passed through the return line 22 via an adjusting valve, e.g.
B. from nozzle 23a and - in deviation from Fig. 6 screw with a cone tip, znid is pressed back via the return line 24 through the sieve into the oil bath. Any contamination of the filter that occurred when sucking on is flushed away again by the pushed back Ö'1.
This combination makes it possible to use the smallest cylinder diameters with the highest pressure, while the oil circulation and operational safety are still flawless.
The aforementioned screw with a cone tip can also be replaced by a spring-loaded nozzle needle 23b, which is mounted in a screw 25. If a certain cylinder pressure is exceeded, the needle compresses the spring 26 and thereby releases a larger pressure flow cross section.
1 and 2, the drive pins 5a and 5b sit at the two ends of a drive shaft 8 in order to be able to use the closer for both right-hand and left-hand closing doors. The shaft 8 has a lever 9 for the chain 10 provided as the tension member of the spring 1 and a crank arm 11 for the brake linkage 4. 1 and 2 show the closer during the opening process, at the beginning of which the first chain links 10a, tensioning the spring 1, are wound onto the projecting end of the lever 9. As the rotation continues, the chain 10, further tensioning the spring 1, is wound onto the drive shaft 8.
During this rotation, the piston in the brake cylinder is moved to the left (up) without resistance by means of the rod 4 and the crank arm 11, in that the brake fluid comes back through a return line behind (under) the piston.
When the door is closed, the tensioned spring 1 pulls the chain 10 back again and rotates the shaft 8 or the pins 5a, 5b back into the closed position. When the lever 9 is rotated in the direction of the arrow 5 ', the distance between the chain 10 and the shaft 8 decreases steadily when the door is opened until the effective lever arm of the torque only roughly corresponds to the diameter of the shaft 8. The closing force is greatest in the closing position of the door, so that the door latches into the lock with certainty. is achieved.
During the movements described above, the closed angle of the parts 11 and 9 always remains unchanged, regardless of how much the spring 1 is tensioned GE and regardless of the steadily decreasing torque when opening the door.
In order to give this torque a certain characteristic depending on the type and size of the door, the lever 9 itself can be designed as a cure venscheibe or be provided with a curve on which the chain 10 rests when turning the curve.
Instead of the continuous and common drive shaft 8, according to FIG. 3, a shaft 8, a for tensioning the spring 1 by means of the lever 9a and the train organs 10d, and a second shaft 8b for driving the brake 3 by means of the Lever 15 and the linkage 4 may be provided. On one of the two waves, e.g. B. on the shaft 8a, the drive pin 5a is provided. Both shafts 8a and 8b are positively connected, for example via toothed segments 11 and 16.
The head end of the spring 1 is guided in this embodiment by a Len ker 17 which is articulated at 17a on the housing with the help of an adjustable eccentric. This arrangement makes it possible to feed the pivot off-center from the closer housing, which is sometimes desirable.
It is sometimes desirable that the door should no longer actively close itself after a certain opening angle, which is between 90 and 180. This is done according to Fig. 5 and 4 by suitable design and arrangement of the curve piece 9 f on the drive shaft 8 and is also achieved in that the tension member for the spring is designed as a kink rod, which is made up of the in the arcuate pull tabs 10f and 10g consists.
It would be uneconomical to want to make shafts 8 with different curved pieces 9f for different standstill positions of the door. But it is possible with a single such curved piece 9f to reach any ge desired standstill position of the door. It only has to be ensured that the torque = 0 when the door opening angle required for standstill is reached. In the case shown, this is achieved in that the piece 9f connecting the two crank webs 9f 'and 9f "is designed with a corresponding curve (see also FIG. 4).
The pull tab 10g is articulated on the cheek 9f ', the other end of which is articulated to the tab 10f by means of a hinge 10h, the other end of which is articulated. is connected to the handlebar 14.
The handlebar 17 (Fig. 3) is used like the Len ker 14 (Fig.5) to guide the head end of the tension spring. There are two tension springs 1 a and 1 b, the head ends of which are connected to a Tr verse 13 which is hinged to the handlebar 14 at 13 b ge. The curve piece 9 f is now shaped in such a way on its upper surface and between the Wan gene 9f 'and 9f "is provided in such a way that it only comes into contact with the pull tab 10g when it is in dashed lines when the shaft 8 rotates from the drawn to the" Drawn position 9f "'arrives.
The knee joint lqh is guided by the cam piece so that it comes to lie coaxially with the drive pin 5a or the drive shaft 8 in the dashed position 10h ', whereby the torque = 0, so that the door no longer opens by itself can close.
The position shown in dashed lines represents the closer at an opening angle of the door of 180. However, the coaxial coincidence of 5a, 8 and 10h has already occurred beforehand. When the TÜT is closed again, see first the curve piece from the position 9f '' ', around the axis of 5a or 8 and with this the pull tab lOg from its dashed ge position around the joint 10h,
whereupon the springs 1a and 1b only begin to act in a desired open position and the door closes with increasing torque.
This desired open position, from which the TüT should not close automatically, can easily be changed by exchanging the pull tabs 10f and 10g. If the flap has a short length of 10g, the door will close at a small angle. If, on the other hand, it is longer, you get a larger closing angle.
If the closer is to be used for the automatic closing of swing doors, two levers 9 (Fug. 2) or 9a (Fug. 3) or <I> 9f, 9 <B> f </B>, 9f "</ I > (Fug. 4) for one tension member 10 (Fug. 2) or 10d (Fug. 3) or 10f, 10g, 10h (Fig. 4), to be provided for two springs 1 or 1a and 1b.
Here, too, the closed angle of the levers for tensioning the springs are not changed when the drive shaft 8 rotates, for example, by 90, during which movement, in this case too, the torque decreases from the beginning of the opening of the door by one tension member around the drive shaft 8, while the other tension member relaxes.
So that in these rotary movements z. B. the springs 1 a and 1 b are kept free of lateral stresses, their head ends are attached to a cross member 13 according to FIG. 5, which in turn is connected to a link 14. The handlebar is held in or on the housing with an eccentric (analogous to 17a in Fig. 3) and thus allows the swing door to be adjusted to the zero position by shifting the handlebar 14 back and forth a little by turning the eccentric.
