27 be deuten entsprechende Stapelhalter.
Dry dusting apparatus for printing machines The subject matter of the present invention is a dry dusting apparatus for printing machines, which is characterized by a compressed air line, at the end of which at least one distribution nozzle is connected, and from which a blowing line opening into the container is branched off, as well as by an in The suction line reaching the container and connected to the compressed air line.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention is shown partially in section.
The stand 1 can either be attached to the floor or to any part of a printing machine frame. At its upper end it carries a clamp 2, a base plate 3 being pivotable between the free ends of the two gripper arms 2u forming the clamp 2 and being held in place by means of a screw a.
A container 5 for the dusting agent 6 is screwed into the G iaindplatte 3 and inserted into the C, '- round plate 3 with a sealing ring 7 in between. On the upper side of the container 5 there is provided a filler neck 5a which is provided with a thread and can be closed by a cover 8.
The stand 1 is traversed by a hose 9, which is intended to connect the connection nipple 10 of a compressed air duct 11 partially penetrating the base plate 3 to a compressed air source (not shown) controlled by the printing machine.
At the point 12 of the compressed air line 11, a blow line branches off from this, which in the present exemplary embodiment is formed by the bore 13 of the base plate 3 and the blow pipe 14. The diameter of the bore 13 is selected to be much smaller than that of the pressure pipe 17 forming the continuation of the pressure line 71.
The blowpipe 14 is. together with the suction pipe 15, the connecting pipe 16 and the pressure pipe 1.7 by means of clamps 18 and a screw 19 on the base plate 3, the blow pipe 14 and the suction pipe 15 are arranged so that they are at Reach into the set container 5. The blowpipe 14 is also slightly bent at its upper end so that the blown air entering is directed onto the surface of the pollinating agent 6.
The pressure line 11 continues from the junction 12 through the pressure pipe 17, in which the connec tion pipe 16 opens, the plate 3 and the suction pipe 15 forms the suction line together with a corresponding bore 20 of the base. A regulating valve 21 is arranged above the connection point of the suction line to the compressed air line,
which can be adjusted by means of the screws 22. At the end of the pressure pipe 17, a distributor 23 is connected, through which the compressed air is fed to two distribution nozzles 25 by means of distribution lines 24.
It goes without saying that instead of the two distribution nozzles in the exemplary embodiment described, only one or a larger number of them can be provided, depending on how large the area to be dusted is.
Furthermore, see the shape and length of the distribution lines 24 according to the mutual position of the distributor 23 and the stack of printed matter to be dusted, which are designated by 26 in the drawing. 27 be mean corresponding stacking holders.
By means of a control unit, which is known per se and which is actuated from the printing machine, intermittent printing bumps are fed to the dine line 1.1 in the rhythm of the movement of printed matter outside of the printing machine.
A part of this pressure period. occurs at branch point 12 as air in the air line, while the remainder is passed through the Draiekrolir 17. The proportion of the blown air in the total compressed air can then be set accordingly by setting the control valve 21.
Corresponding to the shape of the blowpipe 1 - 1 directed against the surface of the dusting agent 6, this blowing airflow in the container 5 generates an air vortex at least partially with the dusting agent.
The connection of the suction line 15, 16, 20 to the Draiek line has. the result that the air mixed with the pollinant. sucked inside the container 5 and fed through the nozzles 25 of the surface to be dusted.
Sufficient whirling up of the dusting agent in the container 5 can of course only take place if the dusting agent is loose, ie. H. is dry, so that it must be prevented that a substantial overpressure is formed in the container 5, which would be suitable for condensing the moisture content of the air contained in the container.
In this case, the measure is suitable to select the diameter of the bore 13 to be much smaller than that of the pressure pipe 17, in that this bore 13 has a substantial pressure drop in the bubble:
It is generated so that a relatively high pressure can be used to extract the mixture of air and dust from the container without the risk of condensation forming in the container.
The described embodiment of the inventive dry dusting apparatus for printing machines has, apart from the means already mentioned for preventing the formation of condensation, the advantage of having a single compressed air line.
