Description

Device for lifting and pivoting the distributor, jib and counter-jib assembly of a tower crane We know the advantages of the use of lifting devices on construction sites. lifting, of the tower crane type, consisting of a rotating distributor assembly mounted on a vertical tower supported on a frame, preferably mobile on rails.

The distributor assembly consisting of an arrow and a counterweight counterweight can rotate alone around the tower or with part of it or even with this tower, and the support of this movement rotation is most often made up of a conical pivot, resting at its head on a thrust bearing and to its base on rollers rolling on a circular path.

Numerous improvements have been made already both in the way the tower itself is constructed, for example by means of elements assembled in superposition, and in that of the jib and brace which can include the man # uvre cabin, and in particular to the realization of the members ensuring the vertical displacement of this assembly along the tower, which makes it possible to raise it, after assembly on the ground, to the optimum working position, which varies during construction.

However, the use of a fixed tower facilitates work at great heights, by eliminating backlashes that generate oscillations and by the possibility of bearing on the building even under construction ; this fixed tower is preferably constituted by a frame of section: square.

The present invention relates to a positive device for lifting and pivoting the distributor, jib and counterjib assembly, of a tower crane consisting of a plurality of elements, characterized in that this the distributor assembly is movable along the tower by means of the hoisting cable, one end of which is fixed to the upper part of the distributor assembly, which passes over two pulleys mounted at the ends of a rotating arm provided in its middle with a pivot mounted on a thrust bearing placed in the center of the upper face of the last element of the tower and the other end of which is wound on the hoisting winch, the same apparently being susceptible to turn around the tower,

by support of two circulars, solida rised with it to its lower and upper parts, on rollers mounted on a plurality of crossed frames arranged along the . along the tower < B> at intervals corresponding to at the separation of these two circulars.

A clamping member can be arranged on the boom to removably secure the cable, which then performs the lifting or lowering of the load, by its displacement between this fixed point thus formed and the winch. The appended drawing represents, by by way of example, an embodiment of the device which is the subject of the invention.

Fig. 1 is a schematic elevation view of a tower crane fitted with the device. Fig. 2 is a schematic plan view of a bearing support frame.

The tower is a fixed mast of constant square section, made up of a plurality of elements of height H. These elements comprise at any level, for example at their end , a crisscross frame C, provided at each corner with two drilled gussets or any other arrangement allowing the attachment of a roller or a beam P carrying two rollers with vertical axis.

On the mast are mounted to sliding two ferrules Y constituting circulars, with an internal diameter greater than the circle enveloping the square section a of the mast, so be able to serve as rolling surfaces on the rollers carried by the frames. These two vi roles are placed at a distance from each other corresponding to the constant spacing of the frames, that is to say H. They are joined by two uprights M at the ends of which are hooked the foot and end of tie rods of the jib and the strut.

An arm B mounted in its middle 'on a pivot, supported by a thrust bearing in the center of the upper face of the last element, and of length slightly greater than the diameter of the ferrules, supports at its two ends a pulley.

The lifting cable, starting from the main lifting winch T mounted on the foot of the boom F, passes over a pulley p- at the end of the latter, then in the carriage L and at the foot of the boom. the boom successively in a removable S cable clamp and a p ' return pulley to then go up to the top of the mast, pass over the pulleys of the arm B and come s 'moor on the strut at r.

To bring the boom F and counter-boom CF assembly, assembled at the bottom of the mast, to the optimum working height, the hook u is brought against the carriage L, the removable cable clamp < B> S being loosened. While working uphill, the winch lifts the distributor assembly ; while working downhill, it brings it down along the mast.

A the desired working height, the whole being brought in line with the two ferrules with the rollers of two frames fitted with rollers, the cable clamp is tightened S, </ B > thus creating a fixed end of the part of the cable that can be used for handling the load.

It will be understood that the torque of the lifting device is thus absorbed by the two ferrules rotating on the rollers which transmit the forces to the crane via the frames.

The vertical forces, self-weight of the rotating assembly, in addition to the load are transmitted to the stop on which the arm B rotates.

As a variant, the vertical forces could be supported by four rollers to horizontal axis tal also fixed to the frame and supporting one of the ferrules.
