Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exem ple, trois formes d'exécution du chapeau selon la présente invention la fig. 1 représente la première forme d'exé cution vue par-dessus, la pièce en matière sou ple étant dans 'la position de repos plane; la fig. 2 représente le même chapeau vu par-dessus, mais dans sa forme d'utilisation; la fig. 3 représente le même chapeau en place sur la tête d'une personne;
Le cordon 11 passe au travers des #illets 15, 16, 17 et 18 de manière que - sa partie médiane 19 se trouve sur l'une des faces de la pièce 10 qui, par la suite, sera désignée face inférieure; - l'un de ses brins 20 s'étende de l'aeillet 16 central à l'aeillet 17 périphérique; - son autre brin 21 s'étende de l'oeillet 15 cen tral à l'oeillet 18 périphérique;
Hat The present invention relates to a skin hat, in particular a lady's hat for protection against the sun.
This hat comprises, like hats of the same type already known, a part made of a flexible material having a cutout which may be in the form of a sector of a circle, a part which, at rest, is flat and which, for use, is put in conical form by bringing the edges of said cutout closer together.
All the hats of this kind known until here include, in addition to said piece of flexible material, two distinct additional elements, namely 1) A seam or a lacing allowing the edges of the cutout to be brought together for shaping. conical of said part; 2) An element independent of the first for maintaining the hat on the user's head, this element being able to be a chin strap, a pin or any other means.
The hat according to the present invention unites these two elements in one. It is characterized by a flexible member, a part of which is intended to form a jugular which, on the one hand, has a smooth neck in two guides arranged in the vicinity of the top of said cutout and, on the other hand, acts on the sides of said sector. , so that, by pulling on this flexible member in the direction of its part forming the chinstrap, the sides of said cutout are brought together with the part of flexible material being brought into conical form.
The flexible member can advantageously be a cord or a ribbon. The guides can be #illets taken in the flexible material of the part having a cutout or gans its attached to this part.
In order to be able to act on the sides of the cut with a view to bringing them together, the flexible member can slide in one or more guides (which can also be #illets or loops) adjacent to one of said sides and exert traction on the opposite side, for example by being fixed there.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, three embodiments of the cap according to the present invention, FIG. 1 shows the first embodiment seen from above, the flexible material part being in the flat rest position; fig. 2 represents the same hat seen from above, but in its form of use; fig. 3 shows the same hat in place on a person's head;
fig. 4 is a view similar to FIG. 1, but of a second embodiment; and fig. 5 is a view similar to FIG. 1, but of a third embodiment.
With reference to fig. 1, 2 and 3 showing the same embodiment of the cap according to the invention, the latter is constituted by a part 10 of flexible material and by a bead 11. The part 10, which is of the general shape of a say that, has a cutout 12, 13, 14, in the form of a sector of a circle, the apex 13 of which is in the center of the part 10. The #illets 15 and 16 are fixed in the flexible material of the part 10 in the vicinity of the apex 13 of cutout 12, 13, 14.
Eyelets 17 and 18 are fixed in the flexible material of the part 10 at the periphery thereof and each near one of the ends 12, respectively 14 of the cutout.
The cord 11 passes through the #illets 15, 16, 17 and 18 so that - its median part 19 is on one of the faces of the part 10 which, subsequently, will be designated the lower face; - One of its strands 20 extends from the central eyelet 16 to the peripheral eyelet 17; - Its other strand 21 extends from the central eyelet 15 to the peripheral eyelet 18;
- one of its end strands 22 extends from the eyelet 17 to the # eyelet 18; and - its other end strand 23 extends from the eyelet 18 to the eyelet 17; the free ends of the strands 22 and 23, respectively passing through the two #illets 18 and 17, being stopped by a knot located on the upper face of the part 10.
In other words, the cord 11 comprises, starting from its end adjacent to the eyelet 18, an end strand 22, an intermediate strand 20, a median part 19 forming a jug, an intermediate strand 21 and a end strand 23.
By grasping the cord by its part 19 and by exerting a traction on it (traction which will therefore be exerted in the direction of the part of the strand forming the chin strap), the cord will slide in the #illets 15, 16 and 17, 18 by bringing the 'one of the other edges 12, 13 and 14, 13 of the cutout. The cap then takes the form shown in FIG. 2, that is to say that the flexible part 10, from the plane it was, becomes conical.
During. This deformation, the middle part 19 of the cord lengthens sufficiently to be able to pass under the chin of the user and to form a chin strap, as shown. in fig. 3., In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the cutout of part 10 is rounded in the vicinity of its top. Two peripheral #illets 24, 25 and 26, 27 respectively are arranged on each side of the cutout.
The ends of the cord 11 end at the #illets 24 and 25 and are each stopped there by a knot. Pulling on the cord 11, exerted in the direction of its median part 19, causes the cord to slide not only in the # central eyelets 15 and 16, but also in the two # peripheral eyelets 26 and 27, by bringing one on the other, the edges of the sheer opening. This approximation may be such that the edge 12, 13 partially covers the edge 14, 13.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 5 is similar to that of FIG. 4, the main difference residing in the shape of the cutout made in the part 10. A traction on the bead 11 in the direction of its median part 19 also causes the edges 12, 13 to move closer to one another. and 14, 13 of the cutout. Once these edges are brought together, the part 19 forms a jugular.
The hat according to the present invention is obviously susceptible to numerous variations, in particular as regards the material and the color of which the part 10 is made. The part 19 forming the chin strap, instead of being in a single strand, could be in two strands that the user only has to tie together to form the chin strap.
It can not only be worn as shown in fig. 3, that is to say that the part 19 of the cord is on the side of the part 10 in contact with the head, but it can also be worn in the opposite direction, the part 19 extending over the cap. The latter method is specially indicated when the cha skin must be firmly held on the head to resist the wind.
As in the non-use position of the cap, part 10 is flat, the cap can be clamped flat.
