Bei gleichem Schlupf i
EMI0003.0025
sei es von der Art reiner hy- draulischer oder nur teilweiser hydraulischer Energieübertragung. E'bens'o ist es gleichgül tig;
Transmission system, in particular for vehicles The present invention relates to a transmission system with a hydrostatic continuously variable fluid transmission, in particular for motor vehicles.
Hydrostatic continuously variable fluid transmissions have the advantage that they transmit the full engine torque with almost constant efficiency over a wide reduction range, as is required in particular for the driving range of motor vehicles.
On the other hand, they have the disadvantage that they are in the starting position, i. H. with a reduction ratio of 1: oo, with consideration. Apart from the maximum permissible hydrostatic working pressure, which is limited for reasons of strength, they cannot transmit sufficient torque.
Depending on the structural design, d. H. Depending on the size, maximum permissible working pressure, etc., the full motor torque is only absorbed with a finite, more or less large reduction ratio, regardless of whether the gear is adjusted to 1: oo or whether by other measures (slip through relief valves) this state is reached.
This property of hydrostatic fluid transmissions, especially in connection with internal combustion engines, results in inadequacies when used in motor vehicles, insofar as a soft, jolt-free start-up cannot be achieved without special measures.
To these difficulties bE "..". ". B .. @, is proposed according to the invention propose the continuously variable hydrostatic fluid transmission a hydrodynamic fluid coupling upstream th, which is intended to the lower, the start-up comprehensive reduction - range down to 1:
Apply 00 zll while the fluid transmission is eating, only adjusted in the remaining transmission range. ? u, within which the full drive torque can be absorbed by this transmission.
With the combination according to the invention it can be achieved that full throttle can be given from starting without the engine running away, and the special characteristics of this combined arrangement ensure a soft, jolt-free start-up, but otherwise relatively wide practice range, if necessary up to an overdrive,
an effective power transfer is achieved. becomes.
In order to eliminate any small slip losses of the hydrodynamic clutch in the transmission range covered by the hydrostatic transmission, it is advisable to provide an oil-controlled multi-plate clutch which enables a travel speed,
when the hydrostatic gear has to be adjusted to a smaller reduction ratio to avoid over-revs of the engine at full throttle and at full engine speed, the hydrodynamic clutch must be bridged.
For this purpose, the corresponding control pressure is expediently switched in a known manner by means of a differential piston actuated by centrifugal force as a function of the output speed of the hydrostatic transmission (travel speed).
In. The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the invention: The figure represents a section through a hydrostatic transmission in combination with a hydrodynamic coupling (Föttinger coupling) d, ar, which is known per se and is particularly suitable for the present purpose.
The combined transmission is driven by a motor via the shaft 1, which is mounted in the bearing 2 of the cover 3 of the transmission housing 4 and consists of one piece with the pump part 5 of the hydrodynamic coupling. The turbine part 6 of the hydrodynamic coupling is with the
Primary drive shaft 7 of the hvdrost <ati see gear unit molded in one piece.
The cover, shell 8 is screwed to the pump part 5 by means of the inspection window 9 and surrounds the turbine part 6 in such a way that it is sealed oil-tight. The pump part 5 is provided with a Keilwellenazsatz 10, in which a part of the lamellae 11 engages, while the other part of the lamellae with inner wedges 12 of the turbine part 6 is in connection.
The axially displaceable annular piston 13 is sealed against the turbine part 6 on the outside and against the shaft 7 on the inside. The Ringkol ben 13 is pressed by a spring in the decoupling, l position to the right.
The shaft 7 is rotatably mounted in the bearings 14, 15 and 16 in the shaft 1, the housing wall 17 and in the secondary drive shaft 18 and is rotatably fixed to the piston drum 19 at its right end . coupled. The wheel 24 of the secondary drive shaft 18 is driven via the wheel 20, which is wedged on the shaft 7 in a rotationally fixed manner, and the wheels 22 and 23 wedged onto a countershaft, le 21.
The countershaft 21 is in the bearings 25 and 26 in the Gehäiwewän 17 and 27 stored. The secondary shaft 18 is stored in the bearing 28 GE, and is rotatably coupled to the piston drum 29 at its right end.
The piston drums 19 and 29 are rotatably mounted on the bearings 30 and 31, the Fich on the lugs 32 and 33 of the control disk 34 are located.
The control disk 34 is provided in a known manner with kidney-shaped control slots 35 which are connected to one another via the - through openings 36.
The control disk 34 is centered in the hollow parts 51 and 52 and screwed tightly together with them by means of the screws 37.
The screwed-together hollow parts 51 and 52 are rotatably mounted in the housing 4 by means of the bearings 38 and 39 and end on the right-hand side in the transmission output shaft 40.
In the hollow parts 51 and 52, the swash plate bearing means are held in the bearings 41, pivotable about an axis perpendicular to the gear axis. which consist of a support ring 42 and the ball bearing 43> On the swash plates 44 supported against the bearings 43 work the pistons 45 and 45 'mounted in the piston drums 19 and 29 in a longitudinally displaceable manner.
The piston drums 19 and 29 are by means of the spring 46 via the shafts 7 and 18 on the control surfaces to both. Sides of the control disc pressed. Their openings 47 and sealing surfaces 48 are dimensioned in such a way that they ensure a tight transition of the transmission fluid from one drum to the other even when rotating with respect to the control disk 34.
This hydostatic transmission is known to be such that at maximum stroke the piston 45 and at stroke zero the piston 45 ', the drive shaft 7 is in direct gear (1: 1.) With the output shaft 40, and vice versa at maximum stroke the piston 45 'and stroke zero of the piston 45 the shaft 18 .directly connected to the output shaft 40 ..
In the latter case, the output shaft 40 then runs with the. the wheels 20, 22, 23 and 24 given reduction compared to the shaft 7. During piston strokes between these extreme values, the output shaft 40 runs with reductions that are between the direct gear of the drive shaft 7 and the reduction given by the wheels 20, 22, 23 and 24 lie.
The mode of operation of the hydrodynamic fluid coupling, on the other hand, is known to be such that when the pump part 5 is running, the fluid located between this and the turbine part is thrown radially outward by the blades 5 ', so that, depending on the speed of the turbine part 6, the blades 6 'is more or less heavily loaded, and along this again flows radially inwards with the release of energy, only to be thrown outwards again by the blades 5'. to become.
The torque transmitted here from the pump part 5 to the turbine part 6 increases with the speed difference (slip) between the pump part 5 and the turbine part 6. With the same slip i
EMI0003.0025
(if n1 is the speed of the pump part 5 and n2 is the speed of the turbine part 6) the transmission torque increases with the speed ei squared.
If the hydrodynamic coupling is now dimensioned in such a way that it absorbs the full torque of the engine at full engine speed and with as little slip as possible, then when the turbine part is at a standstill, i. H. 1 00 1! O ige slip, an interest level, as it occurs when the vehicle is still stationary but the engine is running, the torque consumption at full engine speed is significantly higher. In this state, the engine does not reach its full speed even at full throttle.
If, in this state, the hydrostatic transmission is also set, for example, to the reduction ratio given by the wheels 20, 22, 23 and 24 and dimensioned in such a way that, with this reduction, it can take the full engine torque from the primary shaft 7, without blowing off any overflow valves,
the driving time is thus increased under the effect of the moment exerted by the motor via the hydrodynamic coupling on the shaft 7, which is further increased via the wheels 20, 22, 23 and 24 of the hydrostatic gear. will set in motion.
With. Increasing driving speed, with the same reduction of the hydrostatic transmission and the same torque effect on the vehicle, the slip between the pump and turbine part of the hydrodynamic coupling becomes smaller, which means that the transmitted torque would be smaller at the same engine speed.
The motor therefore catches up in speed with increasing driving speed until it has reached its full speed and thus also power with the small slip determined by the dimensioning of the clutch. From then on, a stepless adjustment of the reduction ratio of the hydrostatic transmission in the direction of the direct gear 1: 1 prevents a further increase in the engine speed.
In order, as already mentioned above, to eliminate the loss caused by the small slip of the hydrodynamic clutch that is still present, it is proposed to reach the driving speed quickly, in which in the case just described the adjustment (reduction)
the reduction of the hydrostatic gearbox to prevent a further increase in engine speed must use the tiamellenlnzpphmg (10, 11, 12) via the hydraulic piston 13 to act, namely by
that by means of a centrifugal pushbutton that switches at this driving speed, the necessary for actuating the lamella upward movement via the oil lines 49 into the oil tank @ tickraum 50 is controlled.
In a similar way as with. But full throttle is also achieved with double-declutching with the help of this arrangement, d :. H. with the described combination of a hydrodynamic coupling and a hydrostatic transmission, which does not, except for 1:
oo is adjusted, a flawless, jolt-free and jerk-free start is achieved with otherwise almost constant -'V4 degrees of rotation over the wider reduction range.
It does not matter whether the hydrostatic transmission has the type just described or not. Just like the hydrostatic transmission described, any other fluid transmission can of course be used, be it of the axial or radial design,
be it of the type of purely hydraulic or only partial hydraulic energy transfer. It is equally indifferent;
whether the hydrostatic fluid transmission is adjusted automatically or by hand to the various reduction ratios. The idea of the invention relates in general to the combination of a hydrostatic fluid transmission with a hydrodynamic Kupphurg, since the above-mentioned effects can be achieved regardless of the particular embodiment.
