Angle sight for direct fire The present invention relates to an angle sight for direct fire, as claimed in the main patent.
This viewfinder is characterized by the fact that the optical device comprises a roof prism with two sides with internal reflection, which deflects the light rays by 90 ,, and which, in combination with the objective, gives a straight image of an ob targeted jet.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the viewfinder.
FIG. 2 is a section passing through the plane of the optical axis.
Figure 3 is a plan view of a detail. Figure 4 is a sectional view of a detail along the line IV-IV of Figure 2; and Figure 5 is a perspective view of a detail.
The viewfinder shown comprises a housing 20 fixed to a plate 21 mounted on a circular support 22, so as to be able to rotate on the latter, and which can be locked by means of a screw, not shown. A flange 23 makes it possible to fix the support 22 to a firearm, for example to a rifle. The housing 20 encloses a roof prism 24, one face 25 of which is located facing an objective 26 and one face 27, perpendicular to the face 25, is located facing an eyepiece 28. The roof prism de life of 901, the light rays coming from the objective to send them into the eyepiece.
The prisms of this type have the property of reflecting the images by inverting them in width and in height so that the image, reversed by the objective is straightened by the prism and is straight in the eyepiece. In this way, if the intended goal is movable, it moves in the eye in the same direction as in reality. This prism, shown in detail in Figures 4 and 5, is called a roof because of its two internally reflecting sides 29 and 30 forming between them an angle of 900.
This sight further comprises a reticle 31 having an axis 32 parallel to the sighting direction and having a distance scale (FIG. 3).
