Fig. 1 veran- sehaulieht diesen Vorgang.
Method for reducing the energy loss of the flow through a blade lattice The patent relates to a process to reduce the energy loss of the flow through a blade lattice with airfoil blades, in particular by blade rings of turbines. It also relates to a cluster for performing this process.
The latter is characterized in that the medium flowing through between two blades with the formation of edge zone eddies accelerates in a first zone of the channel bounded by the blades with a straight flow in the direction of the flow towards the grid and then accelerates in the adjoining zone of the Channel is deflected from this straight direction.
The blade is characterized in that the blade profile is designed in such a way that the profile thickness increases steadily from the profile nose up to a maximum level, and then gradually decreases again, such that between two blades there is an essentially straight wheel; constricting channel located in the direction of the inflow to the grille, which then turns into a curved channel as the profile thickness gradually decreases. transforms.
In the following description, with reference to the drawing, in which FIGS. 1 and 2 show the processes when a medium flows through a blade grille and FIG. 3 shows an exemplary embodiment of the blades, the method is explained, for example.
As soon as a flow is deflected within a channel, what are known as secondary eddies are created. Fig. 1 illustrates this process. The flow medium flows through a curved channel which is formed by the two walls 1 and 2. In the inflowing fluid, as is well known, the speed is never completely evenly distributed, but it always drops towards zero after the walls. So there is a so-called speed profile, which is indicated by the arrows 3.
Within a zone close to the wall with a thickness of 8, the so-called boundary layer, the speed is subject to very strong, local changes, while in the core of the flow the speed is almost constant. The formation of the secondary vortex is based on this uneven distribution of speed.
During the through flow of the crooked fan canal, the parts flowing in the middle of the canal press under the influence of centrifugal force. to the outside and thus have the effect that, conversely, the parts flowing within the boundary layer, consequently more slowly, are driven off towards the convex side of the channel. In this way, a rotating secondary flow, shown by arrows 4 and 5, is superimposed on the main flow.
The kinetic energy of this rotary movement can generally no longer be used, so it is pure loss.
Although the existence of this secondary movement has been known for a long time, one has to influence it, z. For example, due to the appropriate design of the blades, little attention has been paid to this day, namely because until recently the process was considered to be theoretically barely comprehensible. Rather, it was limited to designing the blade profiles in such a way that the pressure curve and thus the friction conditions on their surface should be as favorable as possible.
Recently, however, it has been recognized that a surprisingly large proportion of the total loss of flow energy in the secondary eddies is in a blade. The invention see the task of reducing these losses without relinquishing the advantages of a favorable design of the profile itself. The following findings have been assumed here: 1. The energy contained in the secondary vortex is greater, ever. The speed profile is more uneven, that is, the greater the boundary layer thickness 8.
2. If a flow is accelerated, its velocity profile becomes fuller and the boundary layer thickness becomes smaller, as shown in FIG. The channel shown here in section would have to narrow in the direction perpendicular to the image plane, in such a way that the speed increases. Then, for example, the boundary layer thickness has the value δ1 before the narrowing and the value 8 after it.
3. The intensity of the secondary vortex is. proportional to the deflection angle.
4. If a vortex is continuously distributed over the flow cross-section F of a flow, measured perpendicular to the flow direction (as is actually the case with the secondary vortex) and if this cross-section changes along the flow, the vortex strength changes inversely proportional to the cross-section F This statement is nothing more than a form of expression for the so-called 3rd Helmholtz vortex law.
So far, blades, which were intended for the simultaneous deflection and acceleration of the flow, were designed in such a way that the deflection along the extension of the blade profile was carried out as gently and evenly as possible. In general, a larger part of the deflection was even relocated to the entry section, because it was assumed that the deflection was necessarily associated with losses, which can be kept lower if the deflection is carried out where the speed is still relatively low.
However, if the fluid is vigorously deflected immediately after the fluid has entered the visual accumulation, namely before the current has accelerated strongly, then on the one hand the boundary layer thickness that is decisive for the secondary vortex is still relatively large there, on the other hand it ensures the strong diversion that immediately creates an intense secondary flow.
Is this already with. Secondary vortex penetrated flow is subsequently accelerated, so this means nothing other than that the flow cross-section is reduced and thus, according to number 4 of the above findings, the intensity of the secondary vortex is additionally increased.
The method according to the invention now has a way to avoid these parts after described. This is achieved by the fact that the sehaufeln between the Tra.gflügelprofil- sehaufeln a grid, as it is z. B. is present in the blade ring of turbines, flowing through means first accelerated and then, two @ moderate without substantial further acceleration, is deflected.
In the case of the deflection-free acceleration, the boundary line of vision becomes thinner, which in the subsequent deflection results in the formation of secondary eddies of. is substantially reduced from the outset. In the subsequent deflection, which takes place without further or substantial acceleration, that is to say without or insignificant reduction in the flow cross-section, a strengthening of the secondary eddies is also avoided.
Overall, the kinetic energy contained in the secondary vortices will be incomparably smaller in the case of a blade, in which only acceleration is first and then only deflected, than in a blade of the conventional design.
In the case of the blade construction, profiles can now arise under certain circumstances, which are unfavorable with regard to the pure profile losses. As a result, it can be useful to relocate a very small part of the entire acceleration to the curved part of the channel.
Fig. 3 shows a cluster that is formed according to these findings. Between the blades, which have an airfoil profile, the medium flows through in the direction of the arrow and is accelerated in a first zone of the channel delimited by the blades with a straight flow in the direction of the flow towards the grille and then by in the subsequent zone of the channel this straight direction deflects. :
In one of the blades, a skeleton line -Ivlittellinie 6 is shown, which runs from the center of curvature of the profile nose to the trailing edge. As can be seen from the figure, it first runs from the center of curvature A of the profile nose at least approximately straight to a point B. Then it bends off to finally end at the trailing edge C. The profile thickness is now superimposed on this skeleton line in such a way that the profile thickness increases continuously along the distance AB.
There then emerges between the profiles an essentially straight but strongly narrowing channel located in the direction of the flow towards the grille, within which almost all of the acceleration is carried out. During the now following curved part BC of the skeleton line, the profile thickness gradually decreases again, in such a way that the curved channel that remains free between the profiles has an almost unchangeable cross-section. The dashed line 7 in FIG. 3 shows how the channel contour would have to look if the cross section remained exactly constant.
So you can see that a very slight reduction in the cross-section of the channel is still present. Precisely because the skeleton line at the entrance has a relatively long straight piece AB, a profile is created which, despite the unusual conditions (initially only acceleration, then almost only deflection), also with regard to the pure profile characteristics is cheap and largely contributes to reducing the energy loss of the flow.
