Description

     Fingerspitzenverband

     Fingertip bandage
The subject of the present invention is a fingertip bandage, comprising an adhesive plaster in the form of two butterfly wings colliding with their inner edge, characterized in that a wound compress sits on the adhesive surface of the adhesive plaster, which also has the shape of adjoining Sehmetterling wings, the outlines of which are approximately run parallel to the contour lines of the adhesive plaster, so that the compress is of a smaller area than the adhesive plaster, so that its outlines are everywhere within those of the adhesive plaster.

A fingertip bandage of this type makes it possible, as can be seen from the exemplary embodiment described with reference to the drawing, to enclose an injured fingertip in the shape of a pocket.

   In the drawing show:
1 shows the adhesive plaster in the selected form with a wound compress on top,
2, 3 and 4 the individual phases in the application of the illustrated fingertip dressing.

The adhesive plaster a shown in FIG. 1 has the shape of two butterfly wings a1, a2, which meet with their inner edge, it being the same whether the edge lines are rounded or straight. A wound compress d with the wings d1, d2 is sprayed onto the plaster a, the outline of which corresponds to that of the adhesive plaster and the contours of which run approximately parallel to the contours of the adhesive plaster.

The application of the bandage nest shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4. After the inside of the plaster has been freed of any protective gauze that may have stuck to it, the injured fingertip is applied to half of the compress. of the wing al pressed (Fig. 2). Then the laterally protruding ends of the wing a1 are pressed against the finger by pulling them up (FIG. 3).

Now the wing a2 is pulled up over the fingertip and its protruding ends are also pressed against the finger by swiping downwards. The fingertip bandage now forms a pocket-shaped closure that closes off the fingertip on all sides (FIG. 4).

Because the wound compress d also has the shape of two butterfly wings that meet with their inner edge, there is the possibility of completely covering larger wounds on the fin with the laterally protruding wings d 1 and d 2 of the wound compress d.
