Automatic bang device to drive away unwanted animals
The subject of the present invention is an automatically acting bang device for driving away unwanted animals, in which an explosive gas mixture is generated and is automatically made to explode at time intervals, thus producing the desired stretching effect.
Fig. 1 and @ of the accompanying drawings show two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the inven- tion, viewed in longitudinal section. In both figures, the same designations are used for the same parts.
The Einriehtung shown in Fig. 1 has two closed containers, the gas container l and the. Explosion chamber 9. In the laser container 1 there is the development container 2, open at the top, in the middle of which there is a vertically perforated tube 3 which widens in the form of a funnel or carries a funnel attached to it to collect the from the Needle valve 7 leaking water.
The What serbehälters 5, which is also designed as a lid for the gas container l, has the A fiilloch 6 and the support ring 8 on which the device is suspended. The gas line pipe 20, which carries the burner 19, branches off from the gas container 1. Furthermore, the gas line pipe 15 branches off from the gas container 1, on which the nozzle 14 is seated. The nozzle 14 opens freely into the inflow pipe 10, the distance of which from the nozzle 14 can be changed by the thread 11.
In order to prevent the gas flowing out of the nozzle 14 from flowing out, the inflow pipe 10 has an inverted funnel 13. The inflow pipe 10 is designed as a bend, such that the upper part protruding into the explosion chamber 9 by more than 90 degrees is bent so that the flap 12 is slightly open.
The inflow pipe 10 can also be directed at a simple baffle plate within the explosion chamber 9, on which the inflowing gas impinges and thereby the effect achieved by the bend is achieved. In this case the inlet pipe is short and does not have a bend. On the explosion chamber 9 sits on an intermediate wall 30 the burner protective housing 18, which has a sloping roof and an opening under the ridge. The ignition tube 16, which is equipped with the nozzle 17, emerges from the explosion chamber 9 into the roof space. The explosion chamber 9 also has the exhaust 2, 2, which acts as a non-return valve, and the sound tube 21.
The setup works as follows:
By opening the needle valve 7, water is fed drop by drop through the funnel 4 into the guide tube 3 and thus decomposes from below the gas developing substance, for example calcium carbide, located in the developing container 2. Part of the gas passes through the tube 30 to the burner 19 and feeds the flame there. Another part of the gas flows through the pipe 15 and passes through the nozzle 14 and there entrains fresh air, and an explosive gas-air mixture is formed. Through the bend of the inflow pipe 10 or through a baffle plate, the.
The flow velocity is opposed to a resistance, as a result of which only a little hairdressing air is entrained and thus the correct composition of the explosion mixture is guaranteed. In this way, the mixture reaches the explosion chamber 9, which fills and directs the gas through the ignition tube 16 via the ignition nozzle 17 to the burner 19.
The gas-air mixture ignites above this, causing an explosion. Most of the explosion pressure exits through the exhaust pipe 22, whereupon the flap 22 located there closes again. The escape of the explosion pressure through the inflow pipe 10 is prevented by the bend and the flap 12, or instead of the bend by a baffle plate. After the explosion, the explosion cylinder 9 always fills anew, so that the explosions are repeated at time intervals.
The embodiment shown in Fig. 2 @ differs from the one shown in Fig. 1 in that the ignition takes place electrically:
A spark plug 25 stands on the explosion chamber 9 and projects into it with the spark-generating elements. With this arrangement the gas supply pipe to the burner, the burner, the ignition tube and the burner protection housing are omitted.
The explosion wave also goes through the exhaust 2, 2. The spark plug can get its energy from a battery or from the local power supply. A glow probe can also be used for ignition by interposing a clockwork.
