Device for pasteurizing liquids, in particular milk The device forming the subject matter of the invention for pasteurizing liquids, in particular milk, is characterized by a heatable pasteurizing body with a spiral passage serving to guide the treatment liquid from top to bottom.
This enables the treatment liquid speed, e.g. B. milk or fruit juices, with relatively little time and heat expenditure in a continuous process while maintaining the natural aroma or vitamins to bring to the required temperature, whereby a boiled over with all its unpleasant consequences is excluded. Since there are no rotating working parts, noise and wear are avoided.
The pasteurizing body is advantageously designed as a bowl with an inner surface which is curved in a vertical section and has a spiral-shaped guide channel for the treatment liquid, the bowl having an electrical heating device.
This is a comparatively simple embodiment, and it allows the pasteurizing bowl to be easily kept perfectly clean.
There is the possibility of assigning a bowl-shaped subset to the pasteurizing bowl, with an inner surface curved in a vertical section, which has a spiral-shaped guide channel for the flow of the treatment liquid coming from the pasteurizing bowl for the purpose of cooling the same. B. at drinking temperature.
Furthermore, a thermal switch assigned to the electrical heating device of the pasteurizing dish can be provided between the pasteurizing dish and the dish-shaped base in order to limit the heating of the pasteurizing dish.
Such an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing, namely FIG. 1 shows a vertical section and FIG. 2 shows a horizontal section na, eli of the line II-II in FIG. 1. B>
In Fig. 1, 1 denotes a tripod stand with an open foot ring 2. The stand 1 has the base 3, </ B> on this an intermediate body 4, on it the pasteurizing tray 5 and on top of this a container 6 are placed in a removable manner.
The container 6 used to hold the liquid to be treated has a lid 7 and a conical, double insulating base 8 the top of which is at the top and which in its deepest part on the circumference has an opening 9 for restricted drainage of the liquid from the container 6 into the pasteurizing dish 5. This has in vertical section a downwardly curved inner surface, which is designed as a spiral guide channel 10 , which,
at the top it catches the liquid flowing in from the container 6 and feeds it to a central drainage connector 11 at the bottom. On its outer surface, which is also curved in the vertical section, the shell 5 has a spiral thread serving to accommodate the electrical heating coil 12. The shell 5 , which has a space 13 filled with insulating compound on its underside, has an insulated handle 14 with a power cable 15 for the called heating coil 12.
In the intermediate body 4, the heated liquid coming out of the pasting bowl 5 passes via an inclined guide surface 4a to a lower opening 1,6 on the bottom, through which the bowl-shaped Understanding 3 . This has an inner surface which is curved downwards in a vertical section and which is formed as a spiral-shaped guide channel, which conveys the liquid flowing to it from the intermediate body 4 at the top in spiral passages downwards from a central Ab - </ B > running connector 18 .
The saucer 3 is on its underside with a cavity 19 for the passage of a cooling liquid see ver, which via a z. B. a hose 20 connected to a water line is fed to a connector 21 and is guided away via a diametrically opposite connector 22 by means of a hose 23. The ge cools from said drainage pipe 18 flowing liquid can, for. B. directly from a subordinate vessel to be caught or indirectly through a hose or other line to a vessel.
The mentioned intermediate body 4 has a cavity 25 which extends partly onto a handle 24 and which is also partly delimited by the wall of the inclined guide surface 4a provided for the treatment liquid.
This cavity 25 serves to accommodate a thermal switch, which is connected to a cable 26 provided on the handle 24 and to a cable 15a; the first is used for connection to an electrical power line, the second is to be connected to the cable 15 of the heating coil 12 of the pasteurizing bowl 5 for the purpose of limiting the amount for the bowl 5 > or the heating temperature provided for the treatment liquid. The described arrangement enables both rapid heating and cooling of the treatment liquid.
If desired, the bowl 5 can be used for you to generate hot water.
