Description
Flammenkammer in ölbeheizten Vorrichtungen. Die Erfindung betrifft eine mit ihrer Wandung als Strahlungsabschirmeinrichtung wirkende Flammenkammer in einer ölbeheiz- ten Vorrichtung und besteht darin, dass sie ein Stück bildet und als Zylinder mit einer Stirnwand an seinem hintern Ende ausgebil det ist, und dass die Wandung der Kammer mit Öffnungen versehen ist, durch welche hindurch ein Teil der Flammenstrahlung direkt auf die Feuerraumwandung gelangt.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht ein Aus führungsbeispiel, dessen Anordnung in Fig. 1 dargestellt ist. In den Feuerraum Fragt das Rohr des Ölbrenners B. Über dieses Rohr 1i' geschoben und von ihm getragen wird die zylindrische, mit Löchern in der Wandung versehene, einstückige Flammenkammer b.", in deren Innerem die Flamme brennt. Fig. 2 zeigt die Flammenkammer im Schnitt senk recht zur Zylinderachse.
Nicht nur der Han tel W, sondern auch die Stirnwand S am hintern Ende desselben ist mit Löchern ver sehen, aus denen während des Betriebes Flammenspitzen austreten können und durch welche hindurch ein Teil der Flammenstrah lung direkt auf die Feuerraumwandung ge langt. Die Löcher im Mantel sind radial ge richtet. Zu hinterst, das heisst an dem vom Brennerrohr nicht getragenen Ende der Kam mer, besitzt dieselbe einen Ansatz L, der sie auf dem Boden des Feuerraumes abstützt.
Hergestellt wird die, Flammenkammer aus möglichst wärmebeständigen, zunderfesten Metallen durch Schweisseng oder durch Guss. Auch keramisches Material kann zu deren Herstellung verwendet werden.
Der Zweck dieser Flammenkammer ist die teilweise Abschirmung der Flamme vor zu rascher Abkühlung ihrer äussersten Partien durch Wärmeabstrahlung.

The flame chamber is made of as heat-resistant, scale-resistant metals as possible by welding or casting. Ceramic material can also be used to manufacture them.
The purpose of this flame chamber is to partially shield the flame from cooling its outermost parts too quickly through heat radiation.
