Description
The present invention relates to a bearing for moving parts, such as balance wheels, wheels, oscillating weight, etc., of a clock movement.
The bearing according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises at least one bearing in an organic plastic material.
This bearing can be given the shape of any conventional bearing, the bearing of which is usually constituted by a synthetic stone or by a hard metal plug. It is manufactured by the methods of current practice and can be intended to support the pivots of any mobile of a movement, of watchmaking, in particular those of the ba lance, of the mobiles of the escapement, of the finishing wheels or the. oscillating weight.
By way of example, the pad may be made of a material such as a product for the polymerization of acrylic acid, such as the product of the Plexiglas brand; or of a material such as a polyondensation product of aliphatic amines and polybasic organic acids, such as in particular the nylon brand product.
Experience has shown that such a bearing compared to conventional bearings has the advantage of not requiring lubricant, thus resolving an important problem in the watchmaking industry.
In addition, although the material used to manufacture the bush of this bearing is soft compared to the materials used until now, experience has shown that the wear due to friction in a bearing according to the invention is negligible and that 'it is in any case lower than if, for example, a hard metal pad is used.
