Description

  

  Verfahren zur     Verbesserung    von Lacken und     Anstrichmitteln.       Es ist gefunden worden, dass durch Zu  satz von Lösungen von     Eisen-(III)-alkohola-          ten,    die durch Verbindungen, welche durch       Keto-Enol=Tautomerie    ausgezeichnet sind,     zurr     Beispiel     Acetessigester,    stabilisiert sind, Lacke  und     Anstrichmittel    verbessert werden können.  



  Gegenstand des Patentes ist demnach ein  Verfahren zur Verbesserung von Lacken und       Anstrichmitteln,    das dadurch gekennzeichnet  ist, dass denselben Lösungen von     Eisen-(III;-          alkoholaten,    die durch Verbindungen, welche  sich durch     Keto-Enol-Tautomerie    auszeichnen,  wie zum Beispiel     Acetessigester,    stabilisiert  sind, zugesetzt werden.

   Durch den Zusatz die  ser Lösungen kann beispielsweise bei trocknen  den ölen oder Lacken aus Lackharzen mit  reaktionsfähigen, zum     Metallalkoholateinbau     befähigten Gruppen, wie zum Beispiel Doppel  bindungen oder sauren     Methylengruppen,    eine  wesentliche Beschleunigung des     'Trocknungs-          vorganges,    eine Erhöhung der Filmfestigkeit  und Filmhärte und auch eine ausgeprägte       Rostschutzwirkung    erzielt werden. Ferner    kann ausser diesen technischen Vorteilen auch  eine Einsparung von Metallen erzielt werden.

         Beispiel:          Leinöl-Standöl    wird mit einer Lösung von  mit     Acetessigester    stabilisiertem     Eisen-III-          Butylat    in Benzol versetzt, bis das Gemisch,  auf Trockenrückstand bezogen, 9,5      /o    Eisen  enthält. Der     Trocknungsvorgang    erfährt da  durch eine wesentliche Beschleunigung. Ein  Aufstrich zeigt nach Trocknung sehr gute       Rostschutzeigenschaften    und im Vergleich zu  einem mit     unbehandeltem        Leinöl-Standöl    er  haltenen Aufstrich erhöhte Festigkeit und  Härte.

   By adding these solutions, for example, when drying oils or paints made from varnish resins with reactive groups capable of incorporating metal alcoholate, such as double bonds or acidic methylene groups, a substantial acceleration of the drying process, an increase in film strength and film hardness and also a pronounced rust protection effect can be achieved. In addition to these technical advantages, it is also possible to save metals.

         Example: linseed oil stand oil is mixed with a solution of iron (III) butylate stabilized with acetoacetic ester in benzene until the mixture, based on the dry residue, contains 9.5% iron. The drying process is accelerated considerably. After drying, a spread shows very good anti-rust properties and, in comparison to a spread obtained with untreated linseed oil stand oil, increased strength and hardness.

PATENTANSPRUCH Verfahren zur Verbesserung von Lacken und Anstrichmitteln, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass denselben Lösungen von Eisen- (TII)-alko- holaten, die durch Verbindungen, welche sich durch Keto-Enol-Tautomerie auszeichnen, sta bilisiert sind, zugesetzt werden.
