Es besteht schliesslich die Möglichkeit, nur ein mittleres Ringstück der Absehluss- teile der Verankerungskörper, deren 'äusser ster Rand als Abreisselement ausgebildet ist, weich- und zälunachenden Behandlungen zu unterwerfen;

Process for the production of anchoring bodies to be driven into shot materials under the action of propellant gas. The present invention relates to a process for the production of anchoring bodies having a shaft and which are to be driven into shot materials under the action of a propellant gas shot, with holding means centering and axially fixing the latter in the course of a shooting device.
The method according to the invention is characterized in that a part of the anchoring body which is held larger than the cross section of the clear bore bore in terms of its cross section is at least partially subjected to soft and toughening treatments.
The method can be carried out in various ways. First, a part of the anchoring body can be subjected to softening and toughening treatments, which closes the shaft of the anchoring body as a thickened end part opposite to the shaft tip and which is close to its cross section:
is larger than the cross-section of the clear barrel bore, regardless of whether it is. Plate-shaped, cup-shaped or otherwise designed closure parts of the anchoring body are. You can limit yourself to only submitting the treatment to the edge of such closure parts.
Finally, there is the possibility of subjecting only a central ring piece of the closure parts of the anchoring body, the outer most edge of which is designed as a tear-off element, to soft and fencing treatments;
This middle ring piece protrudes over the clear barrel bore on the one hand and is on the other hand surrounded by the tear-off element, which is torn off when the anchoring body is fired by the middle, soft ring piece, which is converted into a sealing cuff, so that it can be removed from it before the next loading of the firing device must be removed.
The drawing shows, for example, embodiments of anchoring bodies produced by the method according to the invention.
Fug. 1 shows an anchoring bolt finitely designed as a single piece annular plate-shaped end part.
FIG. 2 corresponds to an embodiment according to FIG. 1, with the difference that the Abschltissplatte is attached to a guide piece.
3 shows an anchoring bolt with a cup-shaped end part, which is again designed as a single piece.
FIG. 4 shows the embodiment according to FIG. 3 with the difference that the cup-shaped terminating part is attached to a guide piece of the anchoring bolt.
5 shows an anchoring bolt with an end plate designed as a single piece and with a ring-cylindrical guide piece likewise forming a single piece before the two parts are welded together.
Fig. 6 shows an anchoring bolt with a cup-shaped closing part -Lund designed as a single piece, with a likewise designed as a single piece. ring-cylindrical guide piece.
Fig. 7 shows an anchoring bolt finitely forming a single piece. a cup-shaped closure part, the connection between the closure part and the bolt shank being effected by screwing instead of welding.
8 shows an anchoring bolt with a terminating part designed as a single piece, which, due to its conical shape, enables particularly easy separation from the shot-in part of the anchoring bolt after shooting.
9 shows an anchoring bolt which forms a uniform workpiece with the cup-shaped end part.
Fig.10 shows the same with a different design of the anchoring bolt.
11 shows the same with. the difference is that a guide piece can be screwed onto the anchoring bolt, which is again designed as a single piece.
FIG. 12 illustrates, on a somewhat larger scale, the top view of a plate-shaped end part, the edge of which has only been subjected to soft and tough treatment in a central area.
The one shown in Fig.1, from the barrel. An anchoring bolt to be fired by a shooting device consists of a shaft 1, which is designed to be pointed in a customary manner, and a head 2, which closes this shaft, with a lens-like closure part. The pla, tten-shaped end part 3 is welded to the head lens, the cross section of which is slightly larger than the clear cross section of the barrel bore of a shooting device.
which is used to shoot the anchoring bolts 1, 2, 3. Before being welded on, the platelet 3 had been subjected to a softening and toughening treatment, which consists, for example, of soft annealing (formation of spherical cementite grains just below or at the pearlitin conversion, A1-721C), possibly with subsequent tempering. As a result, when the bolt is fired, which was axially fixed in the barrel by the plate 3,
to a deformation of the part 3, by means of which the platelet is transformed into a sleeve. This cuff centers, guides and seals the bolt 1, 2, 3 during the shot, so that the full propellant gas on the bolt comes into effect. After the shot, the flap 3 can be torn off, while the head piece 2 serves to firmly connect any body, not shown, to the bullet material.
Compared to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, the anchoring bolt according to FIG. 2 differs in that the lens head 2 is replaced by a cylindrical head 4, the length of which is determined so that the head 4 forms a guide piece, which in particular still has the guidance of the bolt 1., 3, 4 is to improve in the course.
In connection with the formation of a centering and tight collar of the platelet 3 resulting from the firing, the shaft 1 is guided in a particularly effective centered manner, so that such anchoring bolts are preferably used for driving into very hard and resistant bullet materials such as hard concrete or the like.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, the end part of the anchoring bolt consists of the cup 6, which is united with the flat head 5 of the shaft 1 by welding. is. The cup-shaped end part had previously been subjected to softening and toughening treatments.
At least that has been carried out with respect to the edge piece 6 'of the end part, since this edge piece 6' is to be reshaped into the sleeve-shaped seal and centering by the firing process. Accordingly, in the embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 2, it is also not necessary for all of the platelets 3 to have been subjected to the similar treatments.
Even in these cases it is sufficient. it is only the outermost ring edge of the platelets to subject the treatment, since only this ring edge is transformed into a cuff. If one imagines the cup 6 according to FIG. 3 as a solid cylinder filled with material, the edge 6 'of such a solid cylindrical end part can also be subjected to the treatments mentioned.
FIG. 4 has the same difference as compared to the embodiment according to FIG. 3 that FIG. 1 has compared to FIG. 2, so that reference can be made to the illustration of these differences.
Fig. 5 shows an anchoring bolt in which the end part 3 is again designed as a plate that was subjected to softening and toughening treatments as a whole or on its outer edge. The shaft 1 of the anchor bolt is equipped with a thread 7 Ge. The ring cylinder 8, which acts as a guide piece, can be screwed onto this thread 7. The end plate 3 is to be connected to the ring cylinder 8 by welding.
Fig. 6 corresponds to the embodiment of FIG. 5, with the. The difference is that the plate-shaped terminating part 3 is replaced by the bec'her-shaped terminating part 9 with the edge 9 ', which has been subjected to softening and toughening treatments without ruling out the possibility of the terminating part 9 as a whole to subjugate.
However, since the cylindrical side walls of the beeherförrni- side closure part 9 are intended to guide the bolt, which is also effective for guiding through the ring cylinder 8, it is expedient to only subject the edge 9 'to the treatment. In the embodiment according to FIG. 7 is the cup-shaped end part 9 with.
to connect the shaft 1 of the anchoring bolt by a screw 11, which thus takes the place of the previously described connection by welding, brazing or the like.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 8, a cup-shaped end part 12 is used, which is conically tapered at 13 so that a weakening point 14 is created, which allows the end part 12 to be easily removed from the flat head 5 of the shaft 1 after the anchoring bolt is shot in.
Here, too, because of the guiding effect of the side walls of the end part 1'2, only the edge 1'.2 'is expediently to be subjected to softening and toughening treatments.
9 shows an anchoring bolt with thread 7 and with a cup-shaped end part 9, which consists of one piece with the shaft parts 1 and 7. At 10 there is only one recess in order to be able to use the threaded piece 7 after driving the shaft 1 into the shot material in the manner of a stud bolt. All that is needed is a cross cut on the head piece 9 to break it off at the weakening point 10.
Since the 'side walls of the cup-shaped end part 9 are used for guidance, it is expedient not to subject the cup-shaped end part 9 as a whole, but only in relation to its ring attachment 9' to softening and toughening treatments, so that when Launch comes to reshape the part 9 'into a cuff.
The same applies to the embodiment according to FIG. 10, since here too the side walls of the cup-shaped end part 6 are intended to guide the anchoring bolt during the launch, so that only the edge 6 'is to be subjected to soft and tough processing. From the end part 6 forms a single workpiece with the shaft 1.
In the case of the anchoring bolt according to FIG. 11, a plate-shaped terminating part 3 is connected to the threaded piece 7 of the shaft 1, while a weakening point is again provided at 15. There is also an annular cylindrical guide piece B that can be screwed on. For the end plate 3, the same applies to what has been done for the plate 3 in connection with the embodiments already discussed.
In FIGS. 2 and 4, the guide body 4 has a cross section which exactly matches the cross section of the clear barrel bore '. The guide ring B in FIGS. 5, 6 and 11 takes the place of the guide body 4 in FIGS. 2 and 4.
FIG. 12 shows, on a somewhat enlarged scale, the top view of a terminating part designed as a head plate, in which only one central ring piece has been subjected to softening and toughening treatments, for example soft annealing. It can be seen that the head plate initially has a central part 16 under which a guide piece 4 according to FIG. 2 can be located.
so that its cross-section corresponds exactly to the cross-section of the clear barrel bore.- While according to the embodiment of Fig To subject the guide body 4 protruding edge 3 'of the closing plate 3 according to FIG. 2 to a soft glow,
in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 12, only the ring piece corresponding to the annular surface 17 has been subjected to such a soft annealing. This means that only the middle ring piece from the surface 17, which on the one hand protrudes over the clear barrel bore, given by the line 4, and on the other hand is surrounded by the outer edge 18, is soft and tough, while the plate parts 16 and 18 from harder and more brittle VZ material.
This leads to the fact that the outermost edge 18 of the head plate is not shaped like that of the surface 17 enf: speaking ring piece when closing into a cuff, but rather that it tears off the edge 18 on the boundary line between 17 and 18 when closing the anchoring body comes, The edge 18 remaining in the shooting device must of course be removed,
before a new anchoring body is introduced into the .Schiessvorrichtung. This introduction has the advantage that the ring piece 17 corresponding to the surface 17 and the edge 18 is enlarged when firing, so that both parts act as particularly strong holding means for the anchoring body.
This can be particularly useful in the case of larger anchoring bodies, in which one cannot go beyond a certain dimension when dimensioning the ring piece intended for cuff formation.
