Machine for chopping vegetables. The invention relates to a machine for chopping vegetables. It is characterized in that a motor-driven disk with planing teeth is arranged in a container in the distance from its bottom, to which a channel provided on the container leads to the introduction of the vegetables to be planed.
In the accompanying drawing, the machine is shown for example in some Ausfüh approximately forms and explained in the description. 1 shows a fruit centrifuge of known design, placed on a base, FIG. 2 shows a vegetable slicer according to the invention, placed on a base, as shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 2a a detail, FIG. 3 a mixer with base and top container with knife head of known construction, FIG. 4 a vegetable slicer according to the invention, placed on the base of a mixer according to FIG.
3, Fig.5 and 6 a planing disc in and plan view, Fig.7 and 8 a planing disc in cross section and plan view with different ausgebil Deten and arranged teeth than in the disc of Figs. 5 and 6, Figs. 9 and 10 a planing disc in cross section and top view with also other planer teeth.
The vegetable slicer according to the embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 and 4 has the following structure: A container 1 for receiving the sliced vegetables etc. has a in the center. inwardly projecting, conical approach la, which is set free by a shaft piece 2, which is connected to motor-driven parts, which are specified below. On the shaft piece 2, a planer disk 4 is fastened by means of a knurled nut 3 that can be screwed onto a threaded extension 2a. The shaft piece 2 is so long. that the planing disc 4 is slightly above the container edge.
Different planing disks 4 can be easily seen, which are interchangeable with one another depending on the intended use.
The planing disc 4, which has a downwardly bent edge 4a for its reinforcement, has its material. Upwardly worked out planer teeth 4b, which in principle are arranged in such a way that each tooth 4b describes a special circular path over at least a disc angle of 90 and the circular paths are so close to one another that practically the entire surface of the plane against the planer disc pressed good is processed.
The planer teeth 4b can expediently be arranged along at least one spiral which runs from the disk center to the edge of the disk. .
From Fig. 6 two such tooth spirals can be seen. According to the embodiment according to FIG. 8, too, the disk has two such tooth spirals. The difference between the embodiment of FIG. 6 and that of FIG. 8 consists only in the tooth size and the distance between the teeth along the spiral line.
Both versions of the planing disc according to FIGS. 6 and 8 have in common that the spirals in which the planing teeth are located are offset by 180 relative to one another.
In the planing disc according to FIGS. 9 and 10, a single, extending over the we sentlichen part of the disc radius of the tooth 4b is present; several such teeth can be provided on the disk 4.
The container 1 is closed at the top by a cover 5, which can be placed on the container by a bayonet lock and detached from it. The cover 5 has a vertical guide channel 6 for receiving a stopper 7 with a handle 7a. The channel 6 is led to immediately in front of the disc surface 4; Its lower diameter corresponds approximately to the effective radius of the planing disk 4. The bayonet connection consists of the following parts At the inner edge of the container 1, which is conveniently made of a light metal or plastic injection molding compound, an approach 8 with a cavity 8a is provided, which is upwards is completed by a web 8b.
The web 8b has a bore 8e through which a screw 9 passes by means of which a metal hook 10 is fastened to the shoulder 8.
The same parts are available diametrically opposite on the container. The lid 5, which can be made of the same material as the loading container 1, has two material approaches 11 at diametrically opposite points, on which a transverse block 12 with a ramp surface 13 is attached. The run-up surface 13 is level with the hook 10.
In Figs. 2 and 4, the Bajonettver connections are only shown on one side on the left. However, they are also available on the opposite side, but not drawn. The lid 5 is set to close with the container 1 on this and then rotated slightly, the run-up surfaces 13 wedge on the associated hook 10 see. To remove the cover, it is rotated in the other direction until the cover 5 can be lifted off the container 1.
At the lower edge of the container 1 is located diametrically opposite two attached or out of the container material ausgearbei ended cams 15, the parts of a Kniehebelver circuit form for attaching the vegetable planing machine to a base part.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 2 and 4, the base part in question consists of an attachment ring 16 which is screwed firmly onto the actual base 18 by means of screws 17 (FIG. 2). The toggle lever 19 is pivotable on the axis 20 of an attachment of the ring 16 and can snap into the cam 15 of the container to fasten the container on the ring 16 or the base 18.
The shaft piece 2 has a threaded bore 21 at the lower end, with which it can be screwed onto a threaded pin 23 of a rotating body 24 with means of the handles 22.
. The rotating piece 24 has a coupling sleeve 25 for coupling to the shaft 26 of a motor mounted vertically in the base 18 (not shown). The intermediate ring 16 has a cavity 27 with a drain 28. In this form, the intermediate ring 16 with the outlet channel 27, 28 is used to place a known fruit centrifuge according to FIG. 1. The housing 29 of this fruit centrifuge is open at the bottom. On the motor shaft 26 in the base 18 there is a grating disk 30. Put on teeth 31 and fastened by means of a knurled nut 32.
A Sehleuderaiebkorb 33 is firmly connected to the disk 30. In the cover 34 of the Fruelitz centrifuge there is a guide channel 35 which leads to the teeth 31 of the grater disk and receives a plug 36 with a handle 37. The container 29 is placed on the ring 16 and the lid 34 on the container 29. The whole is held together by a bracket 38, the ends of which are bent inwards and each engage a hole in the ring 16. The bracket is thus pivotable about the axis 39 of the holes. A run-up surface 40 on the cover 34, which has a catch 41 for the web 38a of the bracket 38, works together with it.
If the bracket 38 is pivoted clockwise about the axis 39 from the locking position shown in FIG. 1 with this web 38a disengaging from the catch 41, the cover 34 can be detached from the container 29; the loading container 29 can also be removed from the ring 16 itself.
If the shredded material 42 is filled into the filling channel 35 while the grating disc 30, 31 is driven, and if the stopper 36 is pressed down by means of the handle 37, the material 42 is finely grated and the whole thing against the Sieve 33 ge centrifuged, on which the coarse parts get caught while the juice is centrifuged and runs on the wall 29 into the channel 27, from where it runs through the outlet 28, for example, into a provided glass.
This machine is known and not the subject of the invention. The fruit centrifuge according to FIG. 1, which is mounted on the attachment ring 16, can be removed and exchanged for a vegetable slicer according to FIG. 2 and vice versa, the attachment ring 16 remaining on the base 18. The same base 18 and the same attachment ring 16 can thus be used both for the known fruit centrifuge according to FIG. 1 and for the vegetable slicer according to FIG.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the vegetable slicer can be placed on the base 43 of a mixer (FIG. 3) containing a motor. This known mixer has on its base 43 guide members 44 for a mixing container 45, which can be made of glass, plastic or the like and has a cutter head 46 for crushing the comminuted material filled into the container 45. The attachment container 45 containing the cutter head 46 can be plugged into the guides 44, the cutter head 46 being coupled to the motor shaft 49 by a coupling 47, 48. Instead of this container 45 containing a knife head, the vegetable slicer according to FIG. 2 can now be placed on or exchanged with the knife head container 45 (FIG. 4).
Since the mixer motor arranged in the base 43 has a normal speed of about 12000 t / min. has, while the slicer disk of the vegetable slicer has to run significantly slower, a reduction gear 50 is attached to the ring attachment 16 between the shaft piece 2 or 26 (FIG. 4) and the motor shaft 49 (FIG. 3). The lower part of the housing. of the reduction gear 50 has a diameter that fits into the guides 44 of the mixer base 43. When inserting the vegetable slicer with the reduction gear 50 in the guides 44, the output shaft of the reduction gear with the end of the motor shaft 49 is automatically coupled.
The vegetable slicer with the ring 16 attached to the attachment, but detachable from this reduction gear 50, can thus be exchanged as required for the usual knife-head mixing container 45 of the mixer (FIG. 3).
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 to 4, the vegetable slicer can thus be replaced with a fruit centrifuge on its base without a reduction gear. With a reduction gear, the vegetable slicer can be exchanged for the knife head mixing container of a mixer on its base.
The operation of the vegetable slicer is readily apparent from FIGS. 2 and 4. The vegetable or the like to be planed is introduced in smaller pieces into the guide channel 6 while the slicing disk 4 rotates. : Through the stopper 7 with hand grip 7a, the material is pressed down onto the planing disk 4 and planed here. The planed material falls into the container 1. When the planing process is finished and the container 1 is more or less full, the lid 5 is released from the container 1 by turning and the container itself is detached from the attachment ring by means of the toggle lock 15, 19 16 or
from the corresponding base 18 or 43 ent removed.
The planed (can now be emptied from the container and used again. It is clear that you can also first loosen the toggle lock and remove the container with lid from the base, whereby the lid is only opened afterwards to close the goods empty.
The vegetable slicer described can thus easily be exchanged for other attachment containers such as a fruit centrifuge or mixing container with a knife head on appropriate bases, with the use of mixers. Knife head mixing containers or fruit centrifuges by another tool, namely a practical vegetable slicer.
