Device for transporting and plucking cushioning material. The subject matter of the invention is a device for transporting and plucking cushioning material. According to the invention, this device is characterized by a toothed grate that has two mutually adjacent and independently movable parts which can be moved by a mechanism so that a periodic relative movement is created between them,
through which the upholstery material placed on the grate is moved in one direction.
There are known machines and devices for plucking cushioning material, in which the teeth placed on a rotating drum capture the cushioning material held by rollers or similar elements, pull them apart and eject (tambour). There are also machines known in which the plucked material by moving and fixed arrangements of teeth and hooks in periodic,
but not rotating movement pulled apart and plucked. becomes. Apparatuses are also known in which upholstery material spun into strands as it passes through. is unscrewed by a rotating bent pipe or a similar element, so that the loosened parts of the material are thrown outwards under the effect of centrifugal force.
The upholstery material to be plucked is usually very dusty, so that proper dust removal during the tap, in which the dust is whirled up to a large extent, is indicated for reasons of hygiene. Sufficient dedusting is not possible in the case of rotating machines and apparatus. can be achieved, as the material is ejected at a high speed after plucking, so that there is no time for dust removal.
In the embodiments of the present invention shown in the drawing, the cushioning material is transported and plucked in a loose state over short distances and good dust removal is also possible.
In such an example (Fig. 4) auxiliary teeth are attached outside the grate, which can be set in a periodic movement and which temporarily change the movement of the cushioning material conveyed through the grate in a certain direction and can hold it back so that the upholstery material is created by the action of the teeth of the grate and the extent to which the counteraction of the teeth attached outside the grate can be controlled. can be pulled apart and loosened. The teeth of the grate can, for. B. be formed by points that are inclined in the direction in which the cushioning material is to be conveyed.
As auxiliary teeth attached outside the grate, pointed hooks can be used, which are designed and bent so that their part engaging the cushioning material points in the direction that is opposite to the direction of the material conveyed by the grate Ma, or it can be aue -h one or more rakes with the same functions must be attached.
This embodiment of the Vorrich device can be used alone or in conjunction with other lasehinen or devices that are used to pluck and dust off upholstery material. In particular, it can also be used in conjunction with a rotating apparatus which twists material spun into strands.
In this case, this example can, for example, catch the untwisted material ejected from the upstream apparatus at relatively high speed and push it in a loosened state in an average continuous, relatively slow movement in a certain direction and pluck it. Meanwhile, the material lying on the grate, which is only moving slowly, can be thoroughly dedusted with a forced air stream, which is a great advantage over the. Apparatuses that directly eject the cranked material together with the dust it contains at high speed.
Another advantage of this example results from the fact that the worthless, very short cushioning material, i.e. the waste, can fall through the gaps in the grate and is thus separated from the valuable longer material, as a certain sorting is achieved in this way.
An embodiment of the device according to the invention can be designed in such a way that the periodic relative movement of the parts against each other causes the upholstery material lying thereon to move relatively slowly in a certain direction on average over time, with the increase in the frequency of the periodic movement mean speed of the conveyed goods would increase.
Such an effect could be achieved by providing the parts of the grate with teeth which are inclined in the direction in which the material is to be transported. If part of the grate moves in this direction, the teeth can grasp the material and take it with them, while the teeth of another part of the grate, which is fixed or moves in the opposite direction, do not touch the material because of this inclination grasps or withdraws from it. This seizure and retraction can take place in periodic change under the grate parts.
A group forming parts can be kup pelt with each other in another example and perform a periodic movement, while another group of grate parts can be held or with a certain shift in phase can perform a similar periodic movement. The conveyed material, which is gripped by a part or a group of parts of the grate, can be prevented from executing a movement opposite to the desired direction of movement when these grate parts move in that direction.
The accompanying drawing shows various exemplary embodiments of the device according to the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a grate provided with teeth in the form of individual points and with a movement occurring in one plane, FIG. 2 shows a grate connected with a saw blade Toothed convex grate. with the possibility of movement about an axis, Fig. 3 with a concave grate provided with teeth.
Possibility of movement around an axis, FIG. 4 a grate that is the same as the one shown in FIG.
So far. the parts are not shown and explained, it is known to be. All four examples have in common that rows of teeth 2 are attached to the support bars 1 of the grate, which engage in the padding material (not shown) and the tips of which are inclined in the direction F in which the conveyed material is to be moved .
Each grate has two or more adjacent and independently movable parts, which can be moved by a mechanism in such a way that a periodic relative movement is created between them, through which the cushioning material is plucked and moved in one direction. becomes.
The movement of the individual grate parts takes place predominantly in the area formed by the entire grate ge, which is achieved through appropriate guides such as rails, rollers, belts, concentric suspension 3, 4, 5 in Fig. 2 and similar arrangements , but a movement component can also be perpendicular. relatively small amounts of space can be allowed in this area, which can occur with a suspension with parallelogram links or a spring-loaded suspension.
The periodic relative movement of the grate parts against one another can be achieved by a suitable mechanism such as connecting rods on a crankshaft, possibly in conjunction with rocker arms on the @ '@ elle 5 in FIG Cams achieved on a rotating shaft. will.
The gaps between the grate can be made adjustable in order to be able to change the amount of waste falling through.
The movement of the individual grate parts a to d in FIG. 1 can be controlled in such a way that that of the parts u and c. in a direction that of parts l) and d runs in the opposite direction (see arrow directions). The part u can still be given a time shift of the phase within the period compared to part c, which can also apply to parts b and d.
With an increasing frequency of the visual oscillations of the parts 1, the feed rate of the cushioning material also increases.
Iti P, ig. 2 are the grate parts for Gi-type A and B, each consisting of two parts a and b, set together to form the connection pieces 4, which are held on the hub 5 with the struts 3. At a certain moment in time, group A can move in one direction, influenza B in the other direction, whereby the groups are driven in push-pull or with a different phase shift within the period.
If the groups are in opposition, grab it. the teeth of one group in the moment of time, into the padding material on top of it, in which the teeth of the other group retract from this.
In Fig. 3, the individual grate parts a and b can be moved in the same way as the groups A and B of FIG. If the movement of the device is considered in FIGS. 1 to 3 in a time instant that is earlier or later by half a period, the arrows representing the direction of movement in the figures must be rotated.
In FIG. 4, the grate consisting of individual parts 1 is the same as in FIG. The promoted by him in the direction F Pol stermaterial is by the ver provided with tips 8 plucking hooks 7, which form auxiliary teeth, temporarily stopped in its movement, namely when the about the axis 6 periodically swinging hook 7 with their tips 8 in the same intervene, so see the hooks 7 move against the direction F. If the hooks 7 swing back in the general direction I ', then the tips 8 pull out of the material which at this moment can be further conveyed through the teeth 2 of the grate.
By this Ent counteracting hook 7 against the teeth 2 of the grate, which temporarily both engage simultaneously in the plucked, this is pulled apart and loosened. The extent: this loosening can stand by the distance of the tips 8 from the teeth \? determined and regulated in the horizontal and vertical direction. will.
The hooks 4 swinging around the axis 3, in contrast to the hooks 7, are connected to one another behind the tips with a bar 5, whereby a rake swinging around the axis 3 is formed, which represents a plucking element attached outside the grate.
