Während jeder innere Schaufelabschnitt 3 im wesentlichen zueinander parallele Flächen 9, 11 hat, also auch seine Vorderfläche plan ist, womit er seine zweifache Aufgabe, einer seits bei der Bildung des geradachsigen Diffu- sors, anderseits bei der Bildung des beschlen- nigend wirkenden Einlaufteils wesentlich mit zuwirken, am besten erfüllt, ist die Vorder fläche 1.1 jedes äussern .Schaufelabschnittes 4 gekrümmt, und die Krümmung reicht aussen bis an das Ende 15 heran;

<B> Impeller for </B> centrifugal hoisting machines. The invention relates to a running wheel for centrifugal conveying machines, for example centrifugal pumps, centrifugal blowers and compressors.
In previous impellers for this type of machine, the blades are continuously curved from the inside to the outside; the curvature runs roughly according to a logarithmic spiral or a circular evolvent, for example. The channel formed by two successive blades and acting as a diffuser has a curved center line (axis) corresponding to the course of the blades.
In contrast, the invention consists in that each blade is formed from two mutually obtuse angles, continuously merging with each other by means of rounded arcs - one inner and one outer - and that the outer portion of each blade is formed with the inside when turning During operation, the following blade forms a backwards directed diffuser with a straight axis.
In the paddle wheel according to the invention, within each cross section of the diffuser there is a uniform velocity distribution of the flow rate (= flow when the paddle wheel is stationary), so that detachments on both walls of the diffuser formed by the paddles are largely avoided during the flow rate. Tests have also shown that the flow splits up when it exits the diffuser.
For a first flow branch, which corresponds approximately to the front half of the flow passing through the diffuser - in the direction of rotation of the impeller - and flows along the rear surface of the outer section of a first blade, the outlet from the diffuser coincides with the outlet from the blade channel ; for a second flow branch, which arises from the rear half of the flow passing through the diffuser, the blade channel is still continued behind the diffuser.
This second flow branch turns after exiting the diffuser in the direction of rotation of the impeller opposite set direction and flows along the front surface of the outer portion of the fol lowing blade. Only at the outer end of this shovel is the second branch that emerges from the shovel channel. A vortex space is created between the two branches.
The first (front) flow branch largely retains the direction of the diffuser wall guiding it when it emerges from the vane duct, as seen from a courageous observer, because for it first the diffuser end essentially coincides with the vane duct end, so that it does not correspond accordingly able to twist off the second, rear flow branch; Secondly, however, the vortex space created between the two branches, which acts like a blade arranged there corresponding to the shape, forms a support for the front flow branch, through which even the rear parts of the front flow branch are held in their previous direction.
In both branches of the flow there is now one circulation flow that is to be superimposed on the flow, with flow lines of a smaller radius than the radius of a circulation flow in the outer part of impellers with constant backward curvature, for example corresponding to the logarithmic spiral or the circular evolve, and with a curved diffuser axis. This also adds the vector to be added to the relative exit velocity,
Backward circulation flow velocity at the outer end of the vane channel is lower than with the previously mentioned vane wheels, so that the absolute exit velocity and in particular its component directed tangentially to the impeller is greater. However, this increases the efficiency and the delivery pressure of a machine equipped with this impeller, all other things being equal. With centrifugal pumps, the manometric delivery head increases accordingly.
In the drawing, a Ausführungsbei is shown game.
Fig. 1 shows for comparison a previously used impeller in a schematic. Representation, partly with a broken cover disk.
Fig. 2 illustrates a paddle wheel according to the invention, of which only two blades are shown, and a corresponding speed diagram, on a larger scale.
FIG. 3 is a vertical partial section along line AA in FIG. 2 and FIG. 4 is a characteristic diagram of a centrifugal peak.
In the impeller according to Figure 1, the front surface a and the rear surface i of each blade 1 are continuously curved from the inside to the outside, so that two consecutive blades together over their entire length with the one channel acting as a diffuser with a curved axis 2 drawn in dashed lines form.
The exit angle fla., Which each front surface a forms with the tangent 25, and the exit angle li, which each rear surface i forms with it, are equal.
In the case of the rotor 22 rotatable about the axis 21 according to FIG. 2, the drawn blades are designated as a whole by <B> Ä9 </B> and T. Each blade consists of two sections, namely an inner section 3 and an outer section 4, which form an obtuse angle with one another and which continuously merge into one another by means of rounded arcs 2'6, 2 <B> 7 </B>.
The outer section 4 of the blade S provided with planar surface 8 forming the rear surface during operation and the inner section 3 equipped with planar surface 9 corresponding to the front surface bil when turning during operation Blade T together form a diffuser 6 with a straight axis 7. The two walls 8, 9 delimiting the diffuser are inclined to one another at an acute angle of 10 to 11; experimentally this angle was the best value. to be determined.
By having a flat rear surface 11, the inner section 3 of the blade 8 and the inner end piece 10 of the inner section 3 of the following blade T forms an inlet part 112 for the diffuser 6. The inlet part 12 has. cross-section decreasing in flow direction; At the point of the smallest cross section of the entire blade channel, namely at 13, the diffuser 6 connects to the inlet part 12.
The flow through flow is then before the entry. accelerated into the diffuser, so that it rests particularly well on the wall formed by the end piece 10 of the inner Sehaufelabschnittes and therefore does not detach from the adjoining diffuser wall 9.
Furthermore, the throughflow flow entering the diffuser 6 at a relatively high speed also follows the opposite diffuser wall 8 particularly well because the inertial force acting when the impeller rotates is less significant than the centrifugal force.
By thus. The efficiency and the delivery pressure or - in centrifugal pumps - the manometric delivery head are further increased from the solution-free flow achieved in the diffuser 6.
While each inner blade section 3 has surfaces 9, 11 that are essentially parallel to one another, so its front surface is also flat, which essentially fulfills its dual task, on the one hand in the formation of the straight-axis diffuser and on the other hand in the formation of the accelerating inlet part to contribute, best fulfilled, the front surface 1.1 of each outer .Schaufelabschnittes 4 is curved, and the curvature extends outside to the end 15;
Furthermore, section 4 is made significantly thicker than section 3, so that its thickness is only slightly below that of section 3 on the outside. The blades then still have sufficient strength towards their end so that they are able to withstand the increasing pressure of the liquid from the outside. The exit angle ss'i that the rear surface 8 forms on the outside with the 'tangent 116 is substantially greater than the exit angle ss'a that the front surface 14 forms with it on the outside.
When exiting the diffuser 6, the flow divides approximately in the area of its outer end 19, indicated by dashed lines, into two branches, namely a front branch 17 and a rear branch 18. The flow branch 17, for which the diffuser end 19 is essentially also that The end of the blade channel bil det, occurs - seen from a co-rotating observer - approximately in the direction of the R.üekfläche 8 of the blade S from the look felkanal, while flow branch 18 ent along the surface 14 adjoining the surface 9 of the blade T continues . Between the two branches 17, 1.8, as the experiments showed, a vortex space 20 is formed,
which is a support for branch 1'7 and contributes to the fact that branch 1'7 endeavors to keep the direction of surface 8 when exiting the impeller.
At each blade end 15, the flow branch 17 directs the flow branch 18 from the runner in accordance with the large exit angle ss'i.

<SEP> with <SEP> centrifugal pumps <SEP> the <SEP> manometric <SEP> delivery head <SEP> are increased <SEP> i.e. <SEP>.
<tb> Because of <SEP> the <SEP> flat <SEP> rear surface <SEP> of the <SEP> outer blade section, the righting effect on the branch along the associated front surface is particularly great.
In the diagram according to FIG. 4, the delivery rate Q (unit for example m3 / sec) is plotted on the abscissa and the manometric delivery head H (unit for example m) is plotted on the ordinate. Curve I belongs to a pump equipped with the Laiürad according to Figure 1, curve II to the same, with the impeller according to Figure 2; equipped pump.
Since curve II is higher than curve I, the manometric head and thus also the efficiency when using the impeller according to the invention are greater than before; further is the unstable area l on your impeller according to Fig.? smaller than the unstable range h in curve I, and curve 1I drops less far in the direction of the ordinate than curve I.
It was already known with previous impellers for centrifugal pumps that the manometric delivery head is increased by increasing the exit angle - which is the same for these impellers for the front and rear surfaces of each iSchaiifel. but one had to accept that the unstable area of the Q-H characteristic curve (Q = flow rate in the unit of time, H = manometric head) became larger. It was also known that the influence of the circulation can be reduced by increasing the number of blades.
Here, however, the entire inlet cross-section of the impeller was reduced; The hydraulic radius (ratio of the liquid-wetted cross-section of a blade channel to the circumference of this cross-section) was also reduced, so that the friction losses were greater.
In contrast, in the case of the impeller according to the invention, the unstable area of the Q-H characteristic curve is not increased, but advantageously reduced, by the erection of the flow by means of the flow branch flowing along the rear surface of the outer blade section. Furthermore, the influence of the circulation is reduced without the inlet cross-section and hydraulic radius being reduced in a disadvantageous way.
The impeller according to the invention can easily be used in a machine that was previously equipped with an impeller according to FIG. 1 without having to replace other parts, in particular the stator, because the impeller according to the invention is designed in this way lets that the angle a, which the absolute exit velocity c forms with the tangent 16, is equal to the angle between the absolute exit
