<tb> There is <SEP> for <SEP> effect <SEP> of <SEP> to release <SEP> the <SEP> parts <SEP> which <SEP> adhere <SEP> to the <SEP> container.
<tb> The <SEP> drawing <SEP> appended <SEP> represents, <SEP> to <SEP> title
Example <tb>, <SEP> a <SEP> form <SEP> of execution <SEP> called <SEP> device <SEP> object <SEP> of <SEP> invention. Fig. 1 is a partial section of the device according to I-I of FIG. 2, and fig. <U> 2 </U> is a side view, partially in section.
The device shown in the drawing comprises a support I on which is mounted a pivoting furnace at 3. This furnace consists of a chamber 2 internally coated with a layer of heat-insulating material, this chamber containing a muffle consisting of three tu bes 4 closing by a common cover 5. Each of the tubes -i contains a movable tube 6 capable of sliding in the corresponding tube -1. When oven 2 is. tilted by means of a crank 7, the mobile tubes 6 move along the fixed tubes 4 and come up against stops 8.
The support 1 carries, below the oven, a coolant basin 9, intended to receive the objects from the mobile tubes 6. These objects fall into a container. 10, provided with a handle 11 and can easily be extracted from the bath.
The muffle is supplied with gas via piping 12, 18 and 1.1. Is the mitten resting on the chamber? by a cross member 15 fixed to the latter by two clamping mechanisms each comprising a pivoting threaded rod, at 1.8 and onto which a vol- lantl7.La is screwed. crosspiece.5 carries two handlesl6 to allow the extraction of the muffle from the chamber 2 as well as two uprights <B> 19 </B> on which the cover 5 pivots at 20.
The operation of the device is as follows: When the parts to be quenched have reached. temperature required, tilt the oven after opening the cover: 5. The movable tubes are set in motion in the solid tubes and come up against the stops 8. The shock applied to the movable tubes has the effect of releasing the parts which could have adhered to the wall of the movable tubes, and the parts continue their race by falling into the bath.
If it involves (annealing parts whose alloy is excessively sensitive to oz7dation, for example alloys which contain chromium, the release of oxygen and the possible formation of water vapors with the hydrogen dti shielding gas resulting from the decomposition of the oxide layer of the interior walls of the tubes, create a color of the parts to be treated. It is therefore necessary to avoid inside the fixed tubes: and on the mobile tubes the formation of a lic metal oxide.
With known devices, the shielding gas is allowed to pass through the fixed tubes as long as the furnace is hot. This operation is expensive and dangerous. In general, the cooling of the furnace is done. outside working hours, when the workshops are vacated. If the gas passage is maintained when the oven temperature is below 500, there may be some risk that the flame will go out. The gas can then invade the room and cause an explosion.
With the device described. above, it is possible to remedy this Gauger, in fact, immediately after the heating work, the muffle is taken out by means. hoist and handles 16, and let it cool down. a few minutes with the passage of gas. In a laughing way, the tu @ -auterie for the supply of <B>,</B> <I> gas </I>, can, avaiitageu.5ement, be united, said fawn muffle, to. be able to be released at the same time as the latter.
In another embodiment, the soft fle could contain only one container.
