Schnellaufender Windmotor.
Die Erfindung hat es sich daher zum Ziel gesetzt, die Drehzahl über das bisher erreich bare Mass zu steigern, Beim Auftreten von Stürmen sind die Windmotorenüberbeanspruchungen.ausgesetzt. Bei den, bekannten Bauarten versuchte man dieser Gefahr durch schwere und. starre Bau weise zu begegnen;
Fast wind engine. The invention relates to a Schnellau fenden wind engine. It is based on the idea that wind motors with the same power can be built more cheaply and more easily with a higher speed than those with a lower speed. Since the power is equal to the torque multiplied by the speed and a constant, the higher the speed, the smaller the torque can be. The smaller torque corresponds to a smaller from solute wing area at higher speed; also reduce the dimensions of the shaft and the gearbox bes.
The invention has therefore set itself the goal of increasing the speed above the previously achievable level. When storms occur, the wind motors are exposed to excessive stress. In the case of the well-known designs, this danger was attempted by heavy and. rigid construction to meet;
the wind turbines themselves were all rigidly mounted. When sticking to the known building principles, it is not possible to build the wind motors for higher speeds, because they have high natural frequencies due to their large and rigidly coupled masses, so that high speeds come close to these natural frequencies and the danger of fractures caused by the occurrence of resonance vibrations.
The invention accordingly consists in supporting the wind turbine, in contrast to the previous rigid mounting, via at least one elastically flexible member on the stand in such a way that the critical speed is below the operating speed corresponding to a wind speed of 3 m] sec. The critical speed is then run without risk and; the operating speed can be increased regardless of the critical speed.
Even with a light construction and high speed, the wind turbine then runs very smoothly.
The higher the speed with which the wind motor is supposed to run, the narrower the wind turbine blades result for a given wind turbine diameter and a given number of blades.
With the well-known two and three-winged types: is. an increase in speed beyond a certain level is therefore also not possible because the narrow wings corresponding to the higher speed would have to have such thin cross-sections (profiles) for aerodynamic reasons that they are no longer sufficiently resistant to the ones that are particularly at a standstill Build wheel occurring wind pressures:
would let. This difficulty can be eliminated in that the blades of the wind turbine are combined into a single blade, so that, in contrast to known designs, an asymmetrical arrangement results.
Since it replaces all the blades of the wind turbine, this one wing can be designed with a correspondingly larger area than would be possible for the wings of a multi-wing wind turbine for the same speed, so that it can have a profile corresponding to the larger area, which is also against has sufficient resistance to the wind pressures occurring during standstill and start-up.
The mass of the single wing can be balanced by a counterweight, but not the asymmetrical effect of the wind force acting on one side of the single wing. This is why this single-wing design can only be implemented in a simple and inexpensive manner in connection with the elastic support of the wind turbine, by means of which the one-sidedness of the wind force effect corresponding to an imbalance is rendered harmless.
With the single-wing design, the ratio of circumferential to wind speed can be more than double the value achieved with known high-speed machines:
EMI0002.0017
The large number of revolutions made possible by the invention correspond to very small angles of attack: the wings, in which the stationary wheels would not start. It is already known to make wind turbine blades adjustable about a longitudinal axis, so to change the angle of attack.
With the increase in speed, the result is. The further task is to achieve this adjustment by a large amount automatically so that the wing or the only wing at standstill has a large angle of attack, while a very small angle of attack is set as soon as the wheel or the wing rotates. To automatically change the angle of attack by pivoting the wing about a longitudinal axis, it is proposed to use the centrifugal forces,
either contained in the wing itself or with. It creates masses connected to it, which masses are closer to the wind turbine axis when the wheel is stationary and the blades are set at a large angle than when the wheel is rotating and the blades are set at a small angle.
The masses used for steering under the effect of centrifugal forces can be used in connection with Rüekführfeld Bern. Instead of acting directly on the actual wind turbine wing, the masses acting under the centrifugal force can also be arranged in connection with at least one of the slats upstream of the inner part of the main wing,
which, depending on its position, influences the effect of the air flow relative to the main wing. 'Finally, it is also possible to rotate the wings by means of gear members, e.g. B. by engaging between the wing and the wind turbine shaft coupling member, derived from another movement of the wing, z.
B. from a Schwenkbew e movement of the wing about an axis perpendicular to the wind turbine shaft.
The ones used as starting aids. Means for adjusting the blades or for influencing the flow effects on the blades can also be used as regulating means. This is of particular importance because the with. In order to increase the speed, lighter parts must be more effectively targeted against overloading than heavier parts.
Embodiments of the inventive wind motor are shown below. It shows @: Fig. 1 a. Wind turbine in side view., FIG. 2 shows a section along line 11-1I in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a detail.
From the representation in Fig. 1 at the operating speed of the wind turbine, Fig. 4 shows a different configuration of the wind turbine, Fig. 5 shows a further configuration of the support of a wind turbine, Fig. 6 shows a different type .
the elastic support in a construction similar to that of FIG. 5, FIGS. 7 to 12 wing designs for automatic wing adjustment partly in diagrammatic representation, partly in schematic representation and FIGS. 13 to 16 arrangements with front wing in diagrammatic representation.
In the example according to FIG. 1, the hub 1 of a two-blade wind turbine with a corresponding counterpart of the wind turbine shaft 2 is parallel to the geometrical axis of the shaft by short, in the unloaded state. Connect 2 extending bar springs 3 as an elastically flexible organ. These are dimensioned in such a way that together, on the one hand, they can transmit the greatest possible torque, but on the other hand, under the effect of the wind
racles and the centrifugal force resulting from any imbalance in the wind turbine are elastically deflected and safely absorb the bending moments that occur. The hub and the wind turbine can therefore migrate in a plane perpendicular to the shaft 2. The Lirm wind turbine revolves around its center of gravity A (Fig. 3) above the critical speed.
In the example of Fig. 4, the elastic support of the wind turbine is vernvirklieht that between the wind turbine hub 1 and the shaft 2, a long, overhung spring rod shaft 4 is connected ..
In the case of the bar type according to FIG. 5, the wind turbine consists only of a single blade 7, the mass of which is borne by a counterweight. A long, cantilevered spring rod shaft 5, which in this case is directed obliquely upwards and is hinged to the head 21 of a stand, tower or mast, provides the elastic support of the wind turbine in this case.
The inclined position of the long windmill shaft has the advantage that the tower carrying the windmill can be built lower than with a horizontally lying shaft. Material is therefore saved. A design with: long, inclined shaft can also be easily designed so that the wind turbine can be tilted down to the ground. z.
B. during storms or zit maintenance purposes. The arrangement can be made so that the wind turbine is arranged at the upper end of the obliquely upwardly protruding shaft without the interposition of a gear, and that the shaft reaches with its other end close to the ground where a machine is connected to it. The design according to FIG. 6 corresponds. we sentlichen that of FIG. 5.
Here, however, the long, cantilevered shaft 22 of the wind turbine is not the sole means of elastic support. The lower end of the shaft 22 is. Rather in. A Ge housing 24, which in turn is angled at 23 on the head 21 'of a stand, tower or mast .. By a between a console 25 of the bearing housing 24 and a console 26 of the stand head 2.1' is tensioned compression spring 27 here the 'V # @ plate 22 is elastically supported against the stand.
In the example according to FIGS. 7 and 8, which otherwise corresponds to that according to FIG. 5, the automatic adjustment of the wing fis 7, which can be pivoted about a longitudinal axis, from a starting position into the operating position is achieved by means of a flyweight 9 which is supported by an arm 9 'with a The sleeve 9 ″ pivotably mounted about the axis 8 is connected, which in turn is fastened to the wing 7.
Between the wing 7 and a set on the wind turbine shaft 5 engages a tension spring 10, which seeks to keep the flights-1 7 in the extended starting position in Fig. 7 and 8, in which the weight 9 a small Ren distance from the Windmill shaft 5 or of .deren georrietriseher axis than in Fig. 7 and 8 dashed.
Operating position. As soon as the wing starts rotating about the axis 5, the weight 9 migrates from the solid line drawn in FIG. 7 to the dashed line position and rotates the wing 7 into the operating position. When the speed decreases and when it comes to a standstill, the spring 10 returns the wing to a more strongly adjusted angular position. In the example of Fiö. 9 to. 12 a link gear is provided for the employment of the wing.
The wing 7 is. here in addition to an axis 12 directed transversely to the wind turbine shaft 5 can be pivoted. A coupling element, namely a link 13, engages between the wing and the wind turbine shaft 5. If the wheel is stationary with the blade 7 turned on for operation (FIG. 11), the wind pressure acting in the direction of the arrow W pivots about the axis 12.
Because of the link 13 this is only possible with simultaneous rotation of the wing "Im its longitudinal axis 8, so that the wing is brought into the starting position (Fig. 12.). To the extent that the number of revolutions of the wing around the shaft 5 increases , the force swiveling the wing around the axis 12 becomes smaller, the force erecting it against it is greater,
so that the wing goes back to the operating position (Fig. 11).
At high speed: the axis of the circular or conical surface swept by the wing can assume a position inclined to the shaft 5. The wing itself wants to keep its position in the plane or in the surface of the cone surface without altering the angle of attack due to the moment of deviation inherent in it.
If this is to be possible, the link 13 must be able to lengthen and shorten itself correspondingly to the inclination of the axis of the circumferential surface to the shaft 5 with each revolution, without being overstressed; to become.
It is therefore advisable to make it variable in length, preferably elastic, as it is indicated schematically in FIG. 10, so that here too the forces that occur can be controlled by deliberately allowing elastic displacements. will. According to Figure 10, the handlebar 13 is z.
B. composed of two telescopically nested spring housings 13 'and 13 ", between which a spring 28 is clamped, which acts on tension and pressure from its neutral position.
In the example of FIG. 13, a slat is attached as a lasshilfe, which forms a gap with respect to the wing 7 :. The slat extends. here over the entire length of the main wing; the means for his bracket are not shown.
In the example of FIG. 14 is. the slat 15 is much shorter than the main wing 7 and only arranged in its inner area, in order to avoid disturbing the high-speed properties of the profile by increasing the resistance in the outer wing part, which is particularly important for high-speed.
In the design of Fig. 15, the pure over the inner region of the wing 7 extending slat 16 is pivotable about an axis 32, which in turn is supported by means not ge recorded against the wind turbine shaft 5 and the wing longitudinal axis.
A flyweight 18 attached to it is connected to the slat 16, and a tension spring 19 is turned on between the slat and the main wing. At a standstill, the spring 19 holds the slat in the extended position in FIG. 15, in which it acts as a starting aid.
With increasing speed is. the flyweight 18 tries to increase its distance from the windmill shaft 5 in order to finally go to the dashed position when the maximum speed is exceeded, so that the slat also goes into the dashed position in which it is perpendicular to the main wing , and the flow on its back side like this: disturbs that the. Speed cannot increase further.
The leading wing acts here as a regulator controlled by the flyweight effect.
In the example according to FIG. 16, the centrifugal forces acting on the slat 17 in its longitudinal direction are themselves used as control forces. The axis of rotation 32 with which this slat is fixed. is connected, see in F sharp. 16 at the bottom in a reinforced part, which is rotatable and longitudinally displaceable through the sleeve 29, which is stationary with respect to the shaft 5.
The sleeve 29 has. a schraubenga.n: G-shaped curved slot 20, in which a guide pin which is permanently connected to the axis 32 of the slat and optionally supports a roller. 30 in. Between a lower collar of axis 3? and a covenant:
A diagonal spring 31 is clamped in the center of the shaft 29. At a standstill, the force of the compression spring 31 holds the slat 17 in the deepest point drawn out in FIG. 16, in which the pin 30 rests on the left: under the end of the curve groove 20 and the slat has the smallest angle of attack.
Shifts with increasing circulation number. the centrifugal force acting in the direction of arrow B moves the slat upward in FIG. 16, so that because of the engagement of the pin 30 in the curve it has to rotate around the axis 32 into the streaked position at the same time.
Other types of construction arise when the slat differs from the examples shown - in a manner known from aircraft construction - by a not. The control element located on the wing is operated remotely, for example controlled by livclratilischem way.
