Spielzeug-Motorradfahrer.
Toy motorcyclist. In the case of toy motorcyclists, the aim is to keep the housing, which represents the cladding of the drive, bearing, support, etc. parts, as well as the driver's figure, as narrow as possible so that the motorcyclist does not get an unnatural appearance. As a rule, such motorcycle riders have a drive axle with two drive wheels and a front support wheel, which is often designed as a vehicle front wheel, while the vehicle rear wheel is only available as a dummy.
In the case of motorcyclists who only drive straight ahead, the two drive wheels of the drive axle are usually also included in the fairing. On the other hand, it has so far been considered necessary for motorcyclists who make circular journeys to extend the drive axle on both sides beyond the cover and to arrange the two drive wheels outside the cover on the axis. This is done to give the motorcyclist the necessary driving safety and to prevent him from falling over, especially when driving in fast circles. However, the motorcyclist appears unnatural due to the drive axle protruding on both sides and the drive wheels located outside the fairing.
In addition, it is immediately recognizable that the rear wheel is only a dummy.
It has now shown that these shortcomings can be lifted by, on the one hand, the drive axis with its two drive wheels being arranged within the cladding, on the other hand, the housing tends towards the inside of the arch towards the roadway. Through the inven tion, it is therefore possible to fix the defects of a projecting drive axis over the cladding and still, the necessary driving safety in fast circular journeys to he possible, for the purpose of reliably preventing the motor from falling over. Due to the inclined position of the hous ses according to the invention, see
Although the distance between the drive wheels located inside the fairing is quite small, -compensate for the centrifugal forces that are trying to turn the vehicle over to the outside of the curve. In most cases it may be sufficient to just tilt the case inward. Preferably, however, the engine is built with the same inclination. A further increase in driving safety can be achieved if the drive axis is also inclined so that it is lower on the inside of the curve than on the outside of the curve. This can be done with. Help different sized driving wheels happen and depends on the.
Control position of the front wheel. In this sense, it is also advantageous if the drive axle is not only inclined in the specified manner, but also inclined to the direction of travel, so that its drive wheel on the inside of the curve is slightly in front of or behind its drive wheel on the outside of the curve.
The subject of the invention is illustrated, for example, in the accompanying drawing. 1 shows a side view of a motorcyclist with the vehicle housing broken, FIG. 2 shows a view from below, FIG. 3 shows a partial side view of FIG. 2 in the direction of arrow X with effective support fingers, FIG. 4 shows the same side view ineffective support finger, FIG. 5 is a rear view of the motorcyclist with the housing broken open with an effective support finger, FIG. 6 the same rear view with an ineffective support finger.
The motorcyclist depicted has a housing 1 which, on the one hand, serves to cover the inner mechanism and, on the other hand, forms the dummy rear wheel 2 and the driver figure 3. The engine 4, the spring 5 of which can be pulled up by means of the elevator axle 6, drives the drive axle 7, which carries the two drive wheels 8 and 9. At the front in the housing, the front support wheel 10 is mounted, which is designed as a vehicle front wheel.
As shown by name Fig. 5, the Ge housing 1 is inclined towards the inside of the arch. The drive 4 is also installed with the same inclination in the illustrated examples. The drive shaft 7 is also inclined slightly inwards, but is positioned at an angle in the factory in order to be able to execute certain circular arcs through the drive wheel on the inside of the arc, which is kept somewhat smaller than the drive wheel 9 on the outside of the arc. The latter preferably has a running surface made of adhesive material that is far more than iron. It expediently has rubber tires.
The engine 4 and its spring 5 acts due to the inclined position of the barrel axis in the factory beschwe rend after the inside of the arc of the figure, as can be seen from FIG.
On the elevator axis 6 a cam disc 12 is attached, which lobes with the transverse 13 of the lever 15 pivoted at 14 cooperates. This lever carries a downwardly directed support finger 16 at the front, which consists completely or at least in its end part of rubber or other adhesive material which is softer than iron.
If the vehicle is driving in circles, as soon as the lock washer 12 pushes the lever 15 down, the support finger 16 is placed on the roadway as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5. The drive wheel 8 on the inside of the curve is therefore lifted somewhat from the roadway, and therefore has no effect. The consequence of this is that the vehicle sees and rotates the support finger 16. The driving momentum that the vehicle has from circular travel thus has the effect of a carousel-like rotary movement of the vehicle, by means of which the skidding of a motorcyclist, known in large-scale engineering, is imitated. The action of the support finger 16 is only temporary.
As soon as the cam disk 12 has left the transverse tab 13, the lever 15, and consequently the support finger 16, swivels back up into its starting position under the action of the spring 17. The vehicle now performs normal circular journeys again, with the drive wheel 8 on the inside of the curve performing its normal function.
In the illustrated exemplary embodiment, the drive axle 7 runs perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. However, as already explained above, it can also be positioned at an angle to the direction of travel. so that the drive wheel 8 on the inside of the curve lies somewhat in front of or behind the drive wheel 9 on the outside of the curve, as indicated in FIG. 2 by dash-dotted lines for the drive axle. eats.
The two drive wheels 8 and 9 can be of the same size. It is recommended, however, as stated, to keep the wheel 8 smaller than the wheel 9 @ so that the drive axis 7, like the housing, is inclined towards the inside of the arch. The wheel 8 needs. Not. to sit as a fixed gear on the, axis 7. It can be rotatably mounted on this as an idle wheel.
The front support wheel 10 can be set to drive straight ahead. Preferably, however, as FIG. 2 shows, it is mounted in such a way that its position of the relevant curve travel. corresponds. It is of course possible to provide a steering device for the front wheel axle, so that it can be adjusted to larger and smaller diameters in order to be able to adapt to the smoothness of the ground running surface.
The drive axle 7 is located approximately in the longitudinal center of the vehicle. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the motorcyclist is balanced with respect to the drive axle in such a way that the front wheel 10 only touches the road surface slightly. If, in deviation from this, the design is chosen so that the front wheel rests on the roadway with normal driving pressure, a device for shifting weight is expediently built in, which relieves the front wheel when the support finger 16 comes into action. This device can be controlled from the Noek disc 12.
One purpose of the toy is to drive relatively fast circles so that a motorcyclist who is skidding during the fast circle is simulated. For this purpose, a certain point of the figure, a certain circular arc and a corresponding arrangement of the parts required for the drive, such as running gear, axle bearing, lateral weight bearing of the movement spring, winding axis, cam disk, support lever, are provided for this purpose, so that only through these parts the To achieve driving safety and not to have to bring about this in an unfavorable way by additional loading on the inside or by a wide wheelbase on the outside.
The invention can also prevent. that the toy is overturned outwards or out of the direction of rotation by being overweighted when driving fast.
