Lever handle for mortise lock. In the case of mortise locks on doors, the handles on both sides of the door, one of which has a square that is inserted into a corresponding recess in the other handle, as is generally the case, are connected to one another by a pin-shaped cotter pin that defines the bores the hollow part of one pusher and the lateral incision of the square of the other pusher.
However, this embodiment has significant shortcomings. This is because the position of the lateral element in the square depends on the thickness of the door between the handlebars and can therefore only be determined when the di-üeker is inserted into the lock.
1) The making of the side incision in the square requires a certain thickness of the door between the handle plates, so that further use after dismantling to a different door thickness is usually no longer possible.
The usual production of this opening with a narrow file is laborious. If the incision is not immediately in the exact correct position, the square can be moved in its longitudinal direction with the pushers either after the cotter pin has been inserted, or the cotter pin can only be knocked in after the incision has been widened. Under certain circumstances, this can result in the incision in the square becoming too large and the door handle becoming unusable.
As a result of the painstaking loosening, however, the initially stuck cotter pin can also come forward over the trigger switch - and thereby cause injuries to the hand when the trigger is actuated or it can also be lost by falling out.
Attempts have already been made to eliminate these shortcomings by using a resilient locking member arranged on the inside of the latter in a circumferential groove of the handle neck to connect the handle to the shield, which consists of a U-shaped bracket with a knife-like leg , which engages in a toothing of the handle mandrel through a slot in this groove.
With this embodiment, however, other disadvantages are associated, because not only must the square be provided with a toothing and the groove in the handle neck with a slit allowing the introduction of the knife-like bracket part, but the removal of the pusher is only possible after rotation of the shield on the mandrel is possible, the resilient bracket being spread over the edges of the mandrel and disengaged from the latter.
The invention now relates to a door handle for a mortise lock, in which a spring ring is used as a spring ring arranged on the inside of his shield in an annular groove of the handle neck, the connection of the shield and handle effecting locking member. Thus, only the groove needs to be made in the handle neck, but no further processing has to be carried out either on the groove or on the mandrel, and a simple, commercially available spring ring can be used as a locking element.
The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing by an exemplary embodiment. FIG. 1 shows a side view of the door handle in the shield shown in longitudinal section, FIG. 2 shows a rear view of the shield in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 1
In the reinforced part 2 of the z. The plate 1 , for example made from aluminum alloy in the injection molding process, is the peg-shaped part 3 of the pusher 5 carrying the square 4 in the usual way rotatably mounted. In this part 3 protruding over the back of the shield there is a circumferential groove 6 in which the spring ring 7 is inserted as a one-piece organ , which protrudes on all sides over the circumference of part 3 and prevents axial displacement of the pusher in the shield by resting on the back of the bearing eye 2 of the shield.
The spring ring, which is slotted on one side, has perforated widenings 8 at both ends, which make it possible to insert it into the groove 6 by spreading it using a well-known tool with two tips or to take it out of it. If the handle is to be removed from the door, only the screws on the plate have to be removed. This eliminates the often uncomfortable protrusion of the firmly seated splint with the usual pushers.
